Stopped in after my daughters track meet and had a great time. It was a slow night but that didn't stop the server and staff from being friendly and super helpful. We are new to the area and exploring our close by foods and notice this place always had people going in and out so we decided to give it a try. Although we typically prefer all you can eat sushi, with this place you are getting what you pay for. Rolls are really good and a great size. I haven't been here for a while but was craving Sushi and this place is close. It used to be one of my favorites but I walked in mid-day on Sunday/Labor Day weekend and there was only one other couple. I ordered a few things I wanted to try the Rainbow Naruto was one and it tasted a bit fishy. I've never experienced this at a Sushi restaurant before. Got that from a couple dishes I tried. I was so excited that they had nabeyaki soba on their menu, only to be given RAMEN (not soba) and the WORST TASTING nabeyaki broth ever. It tasted like sesame oil water. I'm not sure about their sushi but would not recommend the noodle soup. read more

Their fish is very fishy tasting, which means they're buying lower quality fish. The salmon is even fishy, which is a bad sign. I was gagging and even threw half of it away due to the bad fish taste. Otherwise, their prices are fair and they offer great lunch specials, and they are good about gluten-free. read more

Went here on a Sunday afternoon/evening. We were one of the only customers but it was an off time. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, and had the genuine sushi restaurant vibe. The food was good, a bit pricey for the value in my opinion but the overall taste and quality was good. We got the Mamamiya Roll, King Salmon Roll, Yellowtail & Scallion Roll, and the Phoenix Roll; as well as a pineapple chicken fried rice. Upon coworkers recommendation, decided to visit this place after 2 years of passing by. Plenty of parking. Yes, right at the front. Walked in thru the 1st door but there is a second door. One of those wooden door. I carefully opened the door to make sure it is the right place. Very odd set up. Staff greeted us and sat down right away. As my habit for any place I visit for the first time, I see a huge fish tank but it is empty. Large sushi bar on one side that's about 20 feet long and several chefs. This joint is crying for updates! Waitress brought us two drink menus and two menus. One for each of us. Lot of the drinks were very reasonably priced and can be found at the classic Chinese restaurant. Cosmopolitan for $8? Yeah! Large sake for less than $7? Yeah!! Lot of the items were priced very good but at the end, finding out that rolls are smaller, sashimi size is smaller. However, you can get fried rice with bento menu. Yeah! I am finally at a Japanese restaurant and can get fried rice. My dream come true. A salmon bento box was lackluster. It's lot of food but they tasted like buffet food and it might have been better. My chirashi was served in very unusual way but being progressive, it was ok to get them in a plate instead of bowl. Over all, thumbs down for 2nd visit. read more

Over priced, tastes awful and made us sick. Based on all the great reviews of this place, my partner and I decided to try it out for dinner two nights ago. We are both still very ill and have been in the bathroom constantly since consuming their food. We had the yaki noodles and three sushi rolls and all of it was subpar quality and didn't taste fresh at all. The tuna they use for the pink lady roll and spicy tuna roll was dry and didn't taste good at all. Wish we would've spent $60 someplace else. read more

Met a business friend for lunch. On a weekday at lunch the restaurant was not crowded which was nice. The server was polite and attentive. The restaurant was clean and decorated for the holidays. Plenty of parking. I sat by myself for a while because she missed her turn but the server didn't bother me at all which I appreciated. She brought me my hot green tea and a water and left me alone to study the menu until my friend arrived. We decided on the crazy dragon roll for each of us. She ordered another roll but I forget what it's called. And some unagi nigiri sushi. The crazy dragon roll is cool looking. And it tasted delicious. The kani was spicy and shredded. The combination of shrimp tempura and yellowtail was tasty. And the unagi was smooth and well prepared. It's my new spot for sushi. Can't wait to bring my son. read more

Kurosawa Asian Bistro is a solid sushi place. You won't be wowed by a unique menu or a state of the art presentation but the quality of their food and friendliness of the service are always consistently good. It's not my to go place but it's very convenient and they usually have tables available (even on Friday nights and weekends) so no reservations are needed. Takeouts are always great as well. I probably wouldn't recommend driving out of your way to try it but definitely give it a shot if you are nearby! read more

Amazing and quick service. We were immediately greeting when we entered the establishment. Our server was very attentive. I typically prefer less rice on my sushi rolls. Excellent sushi and service! Though the yellow lighting took some getting used to at first. Restaurant was clean with lots of booths and tables that could be combined for larger groups. I took my hubby who was interested in trying sushi for the first time. He is usually very picky and doesn't eat seafood so I was afraid he'd end up ordering the teriyaki chicken. To my surprise he loved all but one of the rolls which is HUGE for him! I personally enjoyed everything. We had the Gyoza which he ordered in case he wasn't a fan of the rolls. They were delicious with just the perfect crunch! The 4 rolls were all fantastic! We had the Crazy Dragon - yum, loved the flavors and sauces. The Summer roll was both of our favorite. The Chef's roll - combination of spicy tuna and crunch of asparagus was delicious. We also had the Parker roll which was surprisingly flavorful and crunchy for a sweet potato, avocado and mango roll. The service here was very disappointing. I'm a young guy and the staff here took this into account on how they served me. I went here with my partner to spend our anniversary together and we were treated with disrespect the moment we sat down. The server came over and asked "What do you want to drink" My partner then said she would like a lemonade and asked how he was doing. Closed on Tuesdays. This is our favorite sushi restaurant right now. We have enjoyed this place a bunch of times over the last year. They are still following distance measures and it makes us feel like VIPs every time. The food is flavorful and nicely presented. The best part is the service. Everyone is helpful and attentive in the restaurant. There is a big aquarium and lots of three dimensional art all around the space. I still haven't needed to use the restroom, but I can assume it's great as this business has recently completed renovations. read more

This was literally the worst sushi I have ever eaten in my life. I dont know how this place has as many good reviews as it does ... i understand that times can be tough with the pandemic and all . I understand having to tip higher when going out to eat . What i dont understand is how a restaurant thinks its ok to serve food that is about to turn . Thank you grubhub for the partial refund but realistically i should asked for a full refund since i basically threw my entire order in the trash . Special rolls (sexy roll ) had strawberries that were not fresh . All of the avocado in each roll was spoiled and brown . They tried to cover this up with eel sauce in the eel roll but the taste was awful. Some of the rolls were very fishy and not edible. The vegetable roll was full of brown avocado as well . Appetizers .... Pizza was soggy and not edible. Also sushi pizza is not typically served on a rice cake... the tartar on the chips lacked flavor and the chips were soggy and gross . The Japanese egg rolls were ok . I have no issue with the driver or delivery . That was great but if you want sushi I would literally order from anywhere else .
