Everything EXCELLENT customer service. Since the CVS always needs improvement with in regards to stock, pharmacy etc. I call to find out about a hair sprays since per the app they had it in stock. I went to three different CVS and nothing. I star calling to make sure the had it in stock and the Manager pick up the phone and went above and beyond to find out for my product that I was looking for. Horrific experience. Understaffed and lazy employees. There were 4 employees who instead of helping customers stood around doing nothing g. After waiting in line for 10 minutes I decided to give up on my purchase. I set it down and was leaving, my brother told me I should return it to where I got it. So I went back and put it pack (a bag of candy). The employee who was so slow he didn't even finish helping a customer loudly said 'no respect. You have no respect'. I'm sorry sir. I returned your merchandise to where I got it. You have no respect for your job. I had the most baffling experience at 102 N Main Street CVS today. This was my very first time ever entering this specific store, and now will be my last. Their manager "Jimmy" approached me as I was walking through an aisle very rudely by saying hey you're not supposed to be in here I said excuse me he said I told you last time you were here you weren't supposed to come back here mind you I had never been to this door before today so he mistaked me for somebody else took my car with my belongings in it that I needed to buy and refused me service. Would not listen to anything I had to say I tried to explain to him sir you have me Miss taken for somebody else because I've never been here before I live in Huntington Beach I'm visiting in Santa Ana he didn't want to hear anything I had to say and when I asked him for his name he took his name tag off and refused I had to call the store and ask to speak to the manager to be able to get his name which I now no know. To the people working in the higher up above him he's going to get your store into a lot of trouble if you keep him as a manager he was very rude and disrespectful not professional at all first time I have ever seen him and it'll be the last thank God but he completely ruined my whole day I was there to get medicine for my son because he's sick and he took my basket and refused me service. One of the managers at this location is extremely confrontational! I was looking for the restroom, and he very rudely told me that they have no public restroom. Music is blasting. For Pharmacy, I'm surprised, no consideration for people with sensory issues. I came in to get migraine over the counter medication... my head was already splitting. This CVS is conveniently located on Main and First street and that's the reason I came here. I took my prescription here and had it filled by the pharmacy and the pharmacist was super nice and filled my order quickly. I can't remember her name, but she was Asian (duh) and was really polite and smiling and told me it would be about ten minutes, but she filled it in less than that and motioned for me that it was ready. Because of her I'd recommend getting your prescription filled here as it's fast, easy and pleasant. She also answered my questions about the medication and wished me well. read more

Tyler the manager was very rude and unprofessional. He helped me with getting a acholic beverage. I didn't have a mask on. He was nice when helping at alcohol cabinet. Once in line another cashier states I can't be in the store without a mask so I ask to purchase one. Tyler said to me oh she's right.. I tell him your the person who helped me and didn't say anything about it. Then he yells at me if your going to be rude and have an attitude you will get kicked out of my store! My boyfriend was kinda enough to go on a CVS run because I am experiencing horrible allergies. He bought a CVS neti pot and CVS version of Claritin D. When he gave me the neti pot, I noticed it had scotch tape over the original seal on the box. When I opened the box and looked into the actual pot, I saw dried water stains. IT WAS USED. Livid, he went back to the store to complain and get a new pot; the male sales associate said to him, "What do you want me to do about it?" O.o How about don't put used neti pots back on the shelf for resale? That is DISGUSTING. If something like that is actually legitimately returned, that should be marked out of stock (MOS). That shouldn't be available to someone to reuse. Seriously, that is beyond unsanitary. He had the neti pot exchanged and opened the box at the store to inspect it. I wished that wouldn't be necessary. If you need to visit your local drugstore, I'm sure there are MUCH more suitable options. But for now, they've lost our business. We will patronize another location. read more

Located in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, on the corner of Main and 1st Street is this little CVS. Its not really well stocked, but they do have essentials, like snack items, beverages, greeting cards, and other convenience store necessities. I came here to get supplies for an office party (ie: ice, cups, drinks). The prices aren't the cheapest, but considering the location, and convenience, what else can you do? If you can't find something here, there is a RiteAid located across the street. If you still can't find anything at either place, there's a Food4Less a few blocks away. I notice there's a lot of "bus" people who come here to pick up a snack or quick items before their bus arrives. Kudos to the front cashier, who doubles up as the official "door greeter". I usually come here for all my medicines. Usually it's not THAT bad. But they have gone from decent to utterly stupid. I was told to continue to walk back from drop off to pick up for a medication that was "ready". I just wanted to pay, and go home. I came over an hour after my medication was suppose to be done. Yet it "wasn't" ready? I almost walked off, and never came back. When I tired it was all of a sudden "ready". I didn't even do the consultation they recommended. Just walked out. I've loved CVS ever since I was a kid and I've been shopping there ever since. I recently got a job in downtown Santa Ana, and of course the lousiest CVS I've ever seen is the one that is three blocks away from my office. I can walk there in five minutes but it's always so busy, no matter what time I take my lunch. They never seem to restock anything. There are never enough cashiers, and the damn red box is always broken so I can never print my coupons or get a price check. I will say that the best CVS ever is the one next to Disneyland at Harbor/Katella. That one is a palace compared to this one, and the red box always works. But the catch is that nothing is ever on sale there, because, tourists. read more

Dammit CVS! Now that I live here and come here at least 2-3 times a week I see all your flaws. First you shortened your hours and close at 10pm every night [except Sunday is 9pm]. Then you stopped carrying my cigarettes! I've had such bad run-ins with the people that work in your pharmacy, they're disorganized and often rude. It sucks because all your cashiers are awesome and pretty much know me by now [I don't know the last time I was carded for booze or cigs]. And your prices are pretty fair. I can get a 24 pack of PBR for about $15 when it's on sale and a bottle of Jameson for $17! Oh and the BIG BOTTLE of Jager for under $40! But now you're forcing me to have to venture other places to buy my Benson's. And this makes me a sad sad smoker/panda. read more

I work right around the corner. This CVS has got to be the worst CVS ever! They have a problem of leaving expired products on the shelf. Last year, I bought pretzels. I thought they were a bit stale, then I checked the expiration date, and it was already expired past a few months! Also today, my co-worker bought a Gatorade and it was expired, 1/23/09!! Today is 2/11/09!!! Save yourself a trip, and just go across the street to Rite Aid! That's what I do! Rite Aid has ice cream!! =) read more

Very, very nice & helpful staff. Most have been on the team for years, & feel like old friends! Long lines most of the time, but the staff no doubt as many as is financially feasible, just like any business these days. So in the name of connivance me and my Girl Friend frequent this CVS Location and I must say in the last few months they have worked hard to staff this store with the correct employees who are able to deal with the inevitable riff raff who's bound to stumble in. Worst CVS I have been to. The lady named "Elsa" was very rude and was too lazy to open the restroom for me. I shop at CVS a lot because I'm a part time makeup artist and I always like seeing what's new on the market at drug stores instead of just High end all the time because you can actually find good quality products in a drug store. I had to go up to the cash register to read her name tag so I can write this review to warn people of the lazy staff here. Terrible and let me give you 3 reasons! 1. We are long term customers of the pharmacy department. We order using the RX number on the prescription label and the machine asks us what time do we want to pick it up and we tell them in about 1 hour. We then wait an hour nothing 2,3,4 hours nothing. We than stop by and they tell us we didn't receive anything so now we have to wait for them to fill it another 30 to 40 minutes. 2. We have certain medications that we need filled and we ran into a problem which cannot happen since these meds are crucial. The problem is that there warehouse has backorder issues and we can't fill our prescriptions. We went 9 days without the medicine. 3. This CVS is the most congested and unorganized CVS we have ever been to. read more

. Let me tell you why they get 5. I have several medications that I need filled ON TIME every single month. I have prescription for controlled substances which has me going to the Dr to physically pick up the RX every month(hassle)thank you DEA I expect to be able to have a RX filled within the same day. At CVS I am able to pick up my prescription the same day w/o being told they have to order the drug & it takes 3 days to get (rite Aid 111 n main takes 3+ days, longer if they screw it up). I understand there are lines ((not always)) and when there is be prepared to wait. (Waiting @CVS is more quick than 3 days). Before this store was remodeled the people behind the counter were the most HORRIFIC , RUDE, COLD, UNRESPONSIVE, I say this as I was in line standing to drop off ( there were no other customers ) and I waited for the lady that was standing at the spot where you give them your rx, she was looking down.... I waited 5 minutes she said NOTHING, then a co-worker walked up next to her & began chatting (bullshit ting )), he looked me directly in the eye, neither has said MAY I HELP YOU? DID U NEED TO DROP OFF YOUR RX? NADA was asked! I patiently waited for another 7 minutes as they're still talking.......Finally after 15+ minutes I said EXCUSE me, I've been patiently standing in line waiting to drop off my prescription and NEITHER OF YOU asked if I needed help!l. So the guy asked me CAN I HElP YOU? I said NO, I'm waiting for this RUDE LADY TO LOOK UP and notice she has had a customer waiting in line for a very long time whilst doing nothing but talking to one another, so than she said give me your prescription, so I handed it to her and she took the thing glanced and set it in a box without asking me anything further, nothing.. I asked her, I see you're really busy do you know how long this will take ? She says you see All of the prescriptions I have to put in the system? I don't know how long it'll be, at least 1hour! I looked at her facial expression and really wanted to slap her, I Said GIVE ME MY PRESCRIPTION YOU ARE THE RUDEST MOST UNHELPFUL PERSONS I'VE EVER MET IN ALL MY 55 YEARS OF LIFE & YOU NEED TO BE FIRED! If I could give 0 stars I would. I just rode my bike (which is my only form of transportation) over to pick up my prescription and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with "ma'am you can't have your bike in here" I wasn't aware of this rule and I had not brought a lock with me due to the fact that I was just going to be in and out very quickly. I spotted an open space next to the cash registers and asked her if I could just leave it up at the front for a second to which I was greeted by a voice behind me saying "no" and something about safety. Confusing since I was not riding my bike in the building and there was no safety issue whatsoever when I was trying to leave my bike tucked away in the small open area no where near anyone that could trip. Horrible customer service, couldn't even pick up my prescription that I NEED. Don't know who made that guy manager but wow. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. I get that sometimes there are rush periods of time, but I have literally spent 20-30 mins on a phone hold after being told it would just be a couple mins. Now maybe a little harsh as maybe this should reflect on corporate instituting a new standard, but not really easy to get through. Sometimes just showing up is your best bet, but this can take a long time too. Can't win them all. Maybe I need a newer pharmacy that isn't 24 hours and so close to the hospitals. read more
