This practice provided me with the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life at a Dental office. For my entire life, I have never had any issues - not a single cavity. I tried this new dentist as I got new insurance and moved to a new area. I explained this to the staff, and they might have used this to their advantage. They diagnosed me with advanced periodontitis and multiple cavities. They also told me I had major bone loss. After this horrifying (and wrong) diagnosis from the hygienist and the Dentist (Christian Tria), the treatment coordinator told me my total would be 2000 out of pocket when I just came for an inital check up and cleaning. I walked out of the office and declined all treatment. I knew something was not right (especially with my perfect dental history and having no pain) and sought out a second option. I scheduled an appointment with another office the next day (today), and they told me the diagnosis from Urbn Dental and Dr. Christian Tria was false! They even reviewed the same X-Rays and imaging! As I suspected, I do not have advanced periodontitis or any periodontitis as a matter of fact, and do not have any cavities, either, or bone loss! This was a horrible, horrible experience as they were attempting to upsell and charge me for unnecessary deep cleaning and Laser Phototherapy. I will not be going back, especially after doing a more thorough review of their practice. The other 1-star reviews share similar stories, if not the same, also reddit users in the HTX area shared the same sentiment, and their BBB reviews are poor. Client beware!
