This may be my favorite Italian restaurant in Spokane. Not only are the pizzas the best in town, the pasta dishes are excellent. I love the gnocchi and fettuccine. Their revolving vegetable dishes are innovative and delicious. I also can't say enough about the service. It's always been friendly and attentive, but they have also gone out of their way to help senior-citizen me when I've needed it. The prices are also decent. This is my FAVORITE pizza spot in Spokane. Perry district is already super cute and South Perry Pizza just adds to the positive vibes of the street. My favorite is the Erika's pizza. They have quality ingredients that are perfectly topped and cooked on the best wood fired pizza in the area. They also have a great rotating beer selection. Their food is pretty stinking delicious. I got the "house" pizza. The pizza wasn't super hot or even cold, but we also ordered 4 pies. 2 being gluten-free and 2 being vegetarian pizzas. I thought their gluten-free pizza crust was pretty good. If you like ranch, I definitely say get it with their pizza. Yum! They offered our pups some water. And were very attentive to our drinks. First, the pizza. SO MANY COOL IDEAS! I have tried many different ones on the menu, and the majority do not disappoint. There are a few combinations that don't fully resonate with me, but they break a lot of ground so that is to be expected. The atmosphere here is a lot of fun, and even if it is a little loud sometimes it is a still an enjoyable place. Sadly, the service can be inconsistent. The waitstaff typically don't write things down, and the computer system they use is apparently not specific enough. This causes errors and can be frustrating. They fix it quickly, but an overhaul of their order system would fix these errors. Maybe don't name the pizzas so similar? Also, checking on drinks can be hit or miss. I get it, this place is popular and can be busy. But part of the staff's job is to adjust to busy times, and they lose money if they don't keep the beer flowing. Overall I like South Perry pizza and will definitely be back. I just hope they iron out the issues with the staff. read more

Really great pizza! We probably order from here way too often. The pizzas comes in one size, which is pretty small so I would definitely order at least 2 pizzas for 2-4 people. The pizza is pretty unique with a thin crust. The staff is always super nice. It's usually ready within 10minutes, however sometimes the phone line is busy. Are here for the first time this week. It's not close to my house so not sure how often I'll visit but the pizza was good. I was in the mood for some bouchée pizza and it hit the spot. We ordered the wild mushroom pizza and two of the seasonal pizzas, butternut squash and the Octoberfest (or something like that) I think the Octoberfest was my favorite but all three were delicious. Service was good. We were there for a long time for a work meeting and they kept our glasses full of water and checked in regularly. If I lived closer I'd be back. What a serendipities find. We were heading home to San Diego and fell upon South Perry Pizza. Each winter we come to Spokane on our way to Sandpoint, Idaho. We had the House Pizza and Bleu salad and the flavors were beyond compare. Our server Josh was awesome and suggested a craft brew that was amazing. The only reason I'm giving this place a three star instead of a five star review is because I wasn't helped for more than 10 minutes. I sat at the bar while the staff busiest themselves and avoided eye contact. Finally, I shouted out my request to someone within ear shot of actually seeing me. A good customer experience is all about recognizing the people who enter your establishment and making them feel welcome. I felt like a burden or worse, invisible. We stopped here for a quick lunch while we were on South Hill. We started with a Blue salad which was delicious and then ordered the Margherita pizza. The pizza was sooo good! The ingredients were fresh and the dough was one of the best I've had. My only complaint is they are only on South Hill and it's a 30 min drive from where I live in Mead. read more

First I will start out that the food was a five. My rating is based on the level of service which was a -1. After being seated it was at at least 15 minutes before a waitress asked for our drink order. This was after asking the bus boy for help. 2 salads were delivered in a reasonable time but a third was only delivered after our main food order had been delivered. It was delivered only after we asked the bus boy to find out where it was. It hadn't even been prepared. Our waitress never delivered waters we had asked for or visited our table once to see check on our meal. Thanks to a busy bus boy who had to be our contact to the waitress. I was visiting family in Spokane and tried it out. Each visit we try a different pizza place and this was the best yet. It's hard to find a good wood-fired pizza and these guys nailed it. Definitely try the olive oil pizza. We had the mushroom pizza and it was fantastic. We also had the Brooklyn with some jalapenos added and it was very good, but the olive oil was better. It's a great atmosphere with a nice outdoor seating area. The prices were very reasonable. This is now our go to place when visiting and our search for the best pizza is complete. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. We have family from out of town and we thought how better to show Spokane hospitality than to go to South Perry Pizza...BIG MISTAKE. We planned ahead and called to make sure our party could be accommodated but when we got there they were totally unprepared. They shuffled us around the entry while giving away two tables that would have fit us and then proceeded to yell at us in front of the whole place. Very embarrassing and uncalled for.
