I called Abe at Xclusive Auto Leasing around 11am and within 6 minutes he had already given me a price on the exact car I wanted. No "I'll call you back later" -- straight to the point and transparent from the start. I told him I had a trade-in and the highest offer I got anywhere else was $19,000. He asked me to send him a video of the car, and shortly after he texted me back saying he could do $19,500. We worked out a deal on a $98,000 car for $1,128/month for 24 months with only the first month due at signing. I asked if he could roll my negative equity into the lease and he said absolutely. Payment went to about $1,250/month with just the first month out of pocket. I told him we had a deal and to get me the car. Then around 3pm he calls me and says, "Listen, I can get you the $106,000 car for only $10 more a month." I literally told him, "Why are you even asking? Just do it." By 3:15pm he sent me the credit app. By 3:30pm I was approved and already had the VIN to put insurance on the car. The next day the car was delivered right to my house. He told me it would arrive between 3-5pm and it showed up at 2:55pm. We signed everything in under 10 minutes, they took my trade, transferred my plates, and my old car was paid off within a couple of days. This guy is the real deal. No games, no wasting time, no nonsense. I dealt with Abe years ago and he was always on point. I stopped because I started buying cars instead of leasing, but now that I'm back to leasing, I went right back to him. I would recommend Abe at Xclusive Auto Leasing 100% with my eyes closed.

They then switch cars to one that had a full tank of gas. Returned it the night before it was due and told the guy there was some kind of plastic hanging underneath the car. Go back this morning to ask him why he didn't inform me when I dropped off the car and he says he did. Although, before that his initial comment was "Don't worry Amex will cover it." It is crystal clear what is going on here. Getting Amex to pay for damage to his car even though I had nothing to do with it. He accused me of hitting something, which I did not. But I also didn't check underneath the car before I pulled out of the lot. Will never rent from them again. Be very careful if you rent from them and would suggest anywhere but them.

That is completely unacceptable and honestly defeats the entire purpose of making a reservation in advance. People reserve rental cars because they have flights, work obligations, family events, vacations, and schedules planned around them. Cancelling a reservation at the last minute leaves customers scrambling with almost no time to make alternate arrangements -- and of course other rental prices are much higher by then. What makes this worse is that there was no real solution offered and very little accountability. If you cannot guarantee availability, then stop taking reservations you cannot honor. A reservation should actually mean something. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and incredibly unreliable. I would strongly recommend avoiding Thrifty if you actually need a car when promised.

I explained the situation, and she was very friendly and helpful. She listened to what I had to say, pulled up my rental, and a few magic key strokes later, I was back on the road with my 24 hour extension. I was really frustrated when I came in, but she went out of her way to make sure I got what I needed. I really appreciate her help. Hertz definitely needs more people like her. Thank you!
