The chicken grilled chicken salad was INCREDIBLE--fresh avocado, perfectly crisp greens, flavorful grilled chicken, and bacon that tied it all together. Everything tasted so fresh. Do not skip the cheese sticks(I forgot to take a picture because I was too busy enjoying the food)--add the banana peppers for the perfect tangy kick. Absolute game changer. Drove all day in snow and rain and decided to call it a night in Limon, CO. Found this place on yelp and the reviews didn't do it justice. For starters who knew a small town bar would have Prime so we could watch Thursday night football. Two big screen TV's flank the bar and they can be seen from almost every spot in the bar. It has a pool table and games as well. The bar is fully stocked as well as a good selection of draft beer (Modelo, Miller lite, Blue Moon, Vodoo Ranger, 1554 and Coors light). They seem to be known for their wings and also serve pizza and burgers. The French fries are made from real potatoes and were very good. The best part is you get small town prices. The wait staff were all very friendly and seemed accustomed to different customers every night. If you get to Limon, stop and enjoy this place! read more

We have been away from home for nearly 3 weeks and stopped here for lunch. This was probably the best burger of the trip and there fresh cut fries were a hands-down winner. They had a great lunchtime sandwich special which included a piece of German Chocolate cake! Nice to see potato salad as a side dish selection. Very friendly staff and the restaurant has clearly been remodeled recently...nicely done! They have a very cool backyard area for dining and cornhole. Too bad we were on a schedule! read more

We 'blew' into Limon (literally) after 50+ mph winds shut down I-70 and they shut down the interstate to semis, high profile vehicles and anything pulling a trailer (which we were). We sat at the bar. Great, friendly service. They had just opened at 11 am. Had amazing burgers (more like smashburgers). Everything seemed to be homemade and really fresh. OK! We stayed one night in Limon on our way to camp in the Rockies! This place is a diamond in the rough! Kortney(the owner), Cynthia and Tanner(servers) were AMAZING! Friendly and fun is an understatement! The food....HOLY BUCKETS! Every single thing we had was out of this world. But the green chile sauce.....best we've ever had. We raved about it so much Kortney gave us some to go....likely so we'd stop talking about how good it was! The chicken tenders were hand cut and breaded....rarely can you find that. And the green chile burger....I'm still dreaming about it! So good! If you find yourself anywhere near Limon, do yourself a great favor and go see these folks! We didn't dine in but my husband said when he went in to grab our dinner he had high hopes because it seemed very "fancy" but our burgers told a different story lol. The cheese was almost invisible considering it was VERY lightly sprinkled on shredded cheese (I don't think I've ever had a burger with shredded cheese). One burger that we were told was with lettuce because they ran out of GF buns was on shredded lettuce lol so I had to eat it like a salad. That said burger was supposed to have been one of the ones with a bun (there were only 2 GF buns left) in a container with no French fries in it because I have celiac's disease and the fries have cross contamination. But the other two with fires ended up with a bun. The meat its self reminded me of the frozen patties you get from the store, and the burger toppings were barely there or not there at all. Came in last night for food and our server (Courtney) greeted us right away and was so nice. She let us know that they had wings 10 for $10 and oh my goodness were they not small and they bourbon sauce they make was amazing! On our way back to Nevada we stopped for something to eat. Wanted something to get us by until dinner so we ordered a green chili hamburger. When it arrived it was open faced I didn't see any green chili rather a reddish chili with a little bit of green chili in it. We were expecting a chili like a Hatch or Anaheim. Waitress just said well that's our green chili. Taste like regular chili. To make our meal even worse the fries were cold and hard. I've been finding some hometown gems on my travels with Sam. It definitely includes this one. Everyone was so friendly and very attentive to my needs. I ordered the chicken fry steak which came with salad bar, choice of potato, corn & a roll. The steak was at least a 1/4" thick and lightly breaded just like I like it. The potatoes were fresh not packaged. I got watermelon along with my green salad and it was so sweet and juicy! I plan on returning this next week while we're in town.
