My experience with Renters Warehouse managing my rental property was extremely disappointing and,…read morefrankly, unacceptable. I hired this company to professionally manage and lease my rental property, but throughout the process I was met with poor communication, lack of urgency, weak follow-through, and an overall level of unprofessionalism that made me question why I was paying for property management services in the first place. Communication was one of the biggest failures throughout this process. I often felt completely left out of the loop and had to repeatedly follow up for updates instead of receiving proactive communication from the team managing my property. I constantly found myself chasing down basic information that should have been communicated without me having to ask. Even after terminating my contract, there was no professional follow-up email or proper communication confirming the termination process, which speaks volumes about their lack of professionalism and organization. One of the most alarming issues was how my property was handled. After switching management companies, my new property management company informed me that my townhome had been left unlocked/open. As a property owner, finding out that a company entrusted with managing and securing my home failed to do something as basic as lock the property is completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about their competence, attention to detail, and professionalism. In terms of leasing performance, I was not impressed at all. My property sat on the market for over 40 days, and despite paying Renters Warehouse to market and lease the property, they only brought me 2 applicants during that time. Meanwhile, I personally advertised the property myself and found more than double the number of tenant leads and inquiries on my own. That completely defeats the purpose of hiring a property management company in the first place. I was essentially paying for a service while doing much of the work myself. I spent money on a simple facebook ad and was doing more marketing than Renters warehouse ever was. Another major issue was the handling of applicants. Multiple applications were being accepted, but there appeared to be poor communication and follow-up with prospective tenants, leaving applicants confused and giving them the runaround instead of providing timely updates and a clear leasing process. This not only reflected poorly on their professionalism, but likely hurt the leasing process as well. This company also did not give the full profile on potential applicants. I later on found out that one of the applicants had more streams of income than was reported by Renters warehouse after I had asked them multiple times to find out this information.  To make matters worse, the tone of some of the communication I received toward the end of this experience was dismissive and unprofessional, which only reinforced my decision to terminate the relationship. I have included screenshots of our final communication because I believe it accurately reflects the lack of professionalism I experienced. Overall, my experience with Renters Warehouse was marked by poor communication, lack of accountability, weak leasing performance, questionable handling of my property, poor applicant management, and an overall lack of professionalism. I entrusted this company with one of my biggest assets and left feeling like I had to do much of the work myself while receiving subpar service in return. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

I can only speak from my personal experience, but it has been extremely disappointing. The bathroom…read moreexhaust vents in our apartment have never worked, and management has been aware of the issue. Despite knowing about the problem, nothing has been done to repair them. As a result, moisture has become trapped in the bathrooms, leading to black mold growth. Even after the mold developed, no meaningful action was taken to address it. On top of that, we were never provided with a parking pass when we moved in. After living here for 10 months without one and without any communication from management, our vehicles were suddenly towed. We had to pay out of pocket to retrieve them and were not reimbursed. Based on my experience, this company has shown very little concern for its residents or their living conditions. It feels like their priority is collecting rent rather than maintaining the property or providing reasonable customer service. I would not recommend living here.

I hate to have to write a review of this magnitude, but businesses have to stop the discrimination…read moreand profiling. Myself and my partner, both business owners, retired military and AA put in an application for an apartment with the company. We are transitioning from Texas and needed a place in the meantime here. We viewed about 6 units with an agent named Chloe before deciding on this one and got an approval a short while after the application was sent. A background check was done, the approval was sent and money was taken out of my business account to get keys by Friday of this week. I arrived back in town on yesterday and saw that our money had been returned to the business account with no explanation or Reason. I still don't have any written correspondence to support why this happened. We contacted Chloe and was told that the approval went through, but her manager didn't feel good about renting to us. I asked Chloe if she had an issue black people, lesbians, military people or those with businesses. Chloe explained that my business credit was too new. I expressed that we had been in the city for a little less than 2 months, so establishment and my license reflects that. We also provided a personal guarantee and paid a much higher deposit. The manager then claimed the system kicked out the process, when we had already gotten an approval. We had also been told by Chloe after we noticed the money returned that her manager did this. I'll say that while I'm happy my partner and I have secured another unit on today, I don't appreciate the scrutiny or my time being wasted after doing everything right. The sad thing about the entire ordeal is that most of the parties that profile legitimate individuals with money don't make 3 times the rent themselves. I hope this review helps someone else to steer clear of these people and to take their dollar where they are respected and treated fairly. I haven't decided if I will follow up legally as of yet, but beware.

For starters, and this is really just the tip of the iceberg, the rent is NOT as cheap as they advertise. My $600 rent jumped to $775 due to bullshit hidden fees in the lease. I couldn't even tell you what that extra $175 was for. Utility charges? And I pay my own utilities? Lol, which were also super expensive because literally nothing worked. The AC broke, I kid you not, EVERY TWO WEEKS LIKE CLOCKWORK. When I first moved in the drain was disgustingly clogged and they blamed me for it even though I hadn't even taken a shower yet. The sink was also leaking and they tried to blame me for that too. Then when I moved out they sent me a lease termination agreement with my signature already on it from weeks ago telling me I didn't sign and tried to charge me an additional $775. LMAO. What a joke. Then of course they never answer my calls and answer email maybe every 2 week with a vague half sentence that doesn't address any of my questions. These people do not care at all. They're so, so bad at their jobs. Probably terrible at living their lives as well. Empty people who will never come anywhere close to feeling fulfilled in life. How could they when they take zero pride in their work and feel zero remorse asking people- families, young children, etc.- to live under these conditions. They will never be forgiven. The "cheap" rent is not worth it. These are SCAMMERS and the whole operation is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I hope they get exactly what they deserve.
