If I could give this business zero stars I would. Last week I came in to purchase the white 2010 Honda CRV with 143,000 miles that Ali has listed online currently. I hired a Mobile Mechanic to come and do a pre-purchase inspection. He found several issues with the car. The brakes had no life on them, the ball joints were completely shot, and there was a code that came up showing "P0171 system too lean." When he pulled the car out of the lot and I went to test drive it again, the check engine light came on. Ali refused to fix the issue or come down on the price. All of his cars are stacked on top of each other in this lot. So he's not driving them daily. So they're sitting and that's never a good thing. Thank goodness I hired a Mobile Mechanic and thank goodness the check engine light came on as soon as I was about to drive it. Ali then mentioned " I'm getting too old for this." If that's the case, then he really should not be running this business. Putting people and their families safety at risk with the vehicles he is offering for sale. read more

We purchased a 2011 VW Routan from Ali at Southern CAl Auto House to replace our 2009 Routan totaled as it was parked in front of our house. Bad luck. The purchase included a 3 month power train warranty. We test drove the vehicle with about a 4 mile drive on surface streets and a quick mile on the freeway. it seemed to run well enough. Ali indicated the car fax was clear with a rebuilt transmission. False. We got the car home and immediately parked it for a month due to the COVID19 shutdown. We drove it only once or twice for a short distance over the next month as we have 2 other vehicles and are barely driving anywhere. We noticed that it began running poorly almost immediately. My wife indicated that it sounded more like a 20 year old Saturn than a VW Routan (which is actually a very reputable Chrysler Town and Country) Ali had advised us to wait a month to use the warranty so as not to raise any red flags. Not sure why a legitimate warranty claim would raise flags with the warranty company. We took it to our very reputable mechanic (also a personal friend) in Huntington Beach who discovered that the transmission was completely shot and needed replacement or a complete rebuild. He also indicated that the windshield wipers didn't function and the airbags sensors were all defective and not functioning. The warranty promoted with the sale also apparently only covers $1500, not nearly enough to cover the required work. We called Ali to discuss the selling of a damaged and unsafe vehicle to a family of four. We requested he cover the repair costs or take the car back. He refused and kept repeating "as-is." I know what as-is means, but misrepresentation of the product being sold is completely different. He lied, he hid obvious malfunctions and damage and he misrepresented the "warranty" included in the sale. I am an educated person and I understand "as-is" and "buyer beware." However, when purchasing a vehicle, one expects disclosures of obvious flaws and damage in order to make an educated decision about the "as-is" purchase. Ali sold us a piece of shit and he knew it. He doesn't care about what he did and is not providing a whiff of customer service to make things right for my family. Shady doesn't begin to describe this. If you only see only this review of this business, please heed my warning. Go find another dealer to buy from as the chance you're taking with the safety of and expense to your family isn't worth it. Steer clear. Update on my previous review: As we had this vehicle in to replace the faulty transmission as described above, it was discovered that the vehicle also has multiple broken motor and transmission mounts. These actually hold the motor and trans in place. Our mechanic said that he has never seen this amount of damage in a functioning vehicle and said that he's surprised the motor is actually still in place. Southern Cal Auto House doesn't care that they sold my family a defective and unsafe vehicle, nor have they responded to our call to them letting them know the latest discovery. All of this work is costing us over $3000 to fix above and beyond the shitty warranty they included in their sale. Once again...buyer beware if you ever intend to purchase a car from these frauds. The Audi we bought less then 2 months ago now needs over 2000.00 worth of repairs! we were assured that the car was in good condition and had been serviced before we bought it. We were also given a useless warranty that will not cover any of the repairs . I'm pretty sure the owner knew this as well! read more

Ali was very friendly and helpful in helping me find a car for my teen new driver. After the purchase he went the extra mile and showed my teen the Three points of parallel parking. I made appointment with Ali to see and test drive a car in late February. At that point I let Ali know that I wanted to look at more cars before I made a decision. He thanked me for my time; I really appreciated Ali's no pressure approach. Two weeks later I requested a pre-purchase inspection of same car. He was accommodating and met me at the mechanic. A few days later I made an offer and he was willing to negotiate; I got a fair deal. I was a little lucky that the car did not get sold while I looked around and did my research, but I had a plan and had a second car selected just in case. Again, never felt pressured nor did I feel like Ali was over selling car. With that said, I highly recommend a pre-purchase inspection with independent mechanic. Don't listen to a word this guy says he is a lier and if you are even thinking of getting a car from him get it inspected first before anything!!! Told me the 2008 Audi A4 I bought from him is in the best condition an Audi would be in for the price saying that nothing is wrong with it so I took his word and come to find out a couple days after I got the car it had a huge leak that's now gonna cost me about 2000$ after he had told me the car is in excellent condition with nothing wrong with it... he is a scam artist and will tell you what ever you want to here, NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HIM!!! read more

Horrible!! Went to go test drive a vehicle and couldn't tell me anything about it, "as is" is all Ali could say. His professionalism was out the door. NONE!!! what so ever. Was rude, seemed to have attitude. wouldnt let you finish speaking. F.y.i said his price's are firm. No matter what KellyBlue book reference to.
