We kept it even though I "hate" peppers cause I was very hungry and he is diabetic with his sugar dropping. And in all this time she had not offered to fill our drinks. We finished our meal had to stop another waitress and ask for a box and bill finally got those paid and left no tip for her not somthing I do but tip is pay for service you don't give any you don't get any.The service given by Kaydance was some of the worst I have ever had. But we have been here several times and this has never had this problem. So don't judge on this trip alone.

The waitress told us our food was delayed because one item was burned in the oven and had to be remade. When we finally got our order one of the entrees was cold and the other was luke warm. We had ordered both entrees medium, but they were also over cooked. I understand they were busy with the pub crawl, but that should not have impacted their service as much as we experienced. What really disappointed me that the restaurant did not make us aware of the limited dinner menu and that they also were hosting a pub crawl when we made reservations. We could have made a decision to cancel the reservation before we traveled to the restaurant I hope the owners of this restaurant will plan better in the future and make their patrons aware of special circumstances affecting the menu. The ambiance is great. Typical of Rome, GA establishments, you can feel the history. They also have a rooftop bar and a separate bar area, for those seeking out a drink or two. Summary: The experience was good, but the food was bland. If you like to heavily salt your food, this might not be as big of a deal. On the whole, 3 stars, for average. The smoky barbecue paired perfectly with the creamy pimento cheese and made for an incredible combination. The ribs were just as impressive--tender, flavorful, and exactly what great barbecue should taste like. Awesome small-town atmosphere, great food, and absolutely worth the drive.
