It's high-end, which I barely touch due to pricing, but it does not hurt to try something new. Let's see how the evening went. After our entire party arrived, we were all promptly seated. Inside, the decor is perfect. From the bar to the dining area, everything was spotless. You can tell the staff really cares about keeping the place tidy. And they had New Orleans-style music playing through the sound system. Very relaxing. After looking through the menu, I was ready to place my order. I chose their fish special, which was salmon with veggies and a sauce (forgot the name). This dish was very good. It was probably the best cooked salmon I've ever had. When you see seafood with the perfect crust and a lot of flavor, you're in heaven. It did have a small bone and I felt it lacked the amount of squash and zucchini, but again, a wonderful meal. There was one situation which resulted in only a 4-star review. Out of curiousity, I saw on Facebook that they offered $5 discounts. I did let my party know and we were all ready to use them when the bill was ready. But the staff told us the discount was to be used on a table rather than an individual ticket. When we looked both on Facebook and our personal emails, none of that verbage was mentioned. Not trying to sound harsh, but please be sure to state every detail foe customers. We do want to find ways to save some cash out of our wallets. Except for the discount mishap, the visit turned out well. I can say I'll be back to give them anothee go-around. Till next time :)

They made an excellent omelet after modifying the choice of meats and vegetables for my taste. The eggs for the omelet was smooth without being burnt. Food inside the omelet was hot. I added a hash as a side and it too arrived hot. Coffee is ok. I prefer a stronger like mud coffee so it was ok. The atmosphere was nice: clean restaurant, appropriate wall decorations, booths and tables in good repair. Service was quick and accurate. Both gals serving were hospitable and always quick to top off coffee or water / drinks. Prices are reasonable; however, like many places today, their suggested tip starts at 20% and is on the total bill, including tax. Gratuity is supposed to max at 15% and on the subtotal before tax. I'm good with tipping extra here as the service earns it, but I didn't care for how the bill showed up. Food, service and atmosphere for a small diner is 5-star; coffee is 3 which is roughly 4.5 so Ferttita's is rounded up to a 5-star. Especially for the happiness and service of the staff. Fertitta's is a recommend.

The waitress told me that the sweet potato fries are not made in house but the regular fries are. No biggie. I felt like sweet potatoes that day, and they were still good. Hubs got the "the truth" and it was exactly as advertised... A pile of breakfast goodies. He handled it, lol. I really liked my crab sandwich - That crab pattie was nice and big! The waitresses were all very nice and accommodating. Seemed like they got a nice mix of regulars and new people.

Whether it's with friends or just the two of us, we've never been disappointed. Let's see how this visit went. We were immediately seated once we walked inside. It wasn't completely packed for a Saturday afternoon but staff was really busy with customers. The vibe was one that made us comfortable for the most part. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we were ready to order. My selection was the Tavern Monte Cristo which consisted of chargrilled chicken and ham as the protein with Gouda cheese and cider aioli fried in a tempura batter with tavern fries. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. I'm not sure if I ate most of it when we dined in, but when I ate the rest for dinner, it was more breading than anything else. Still good but they could've included more. Nonetheless, I was full. Good stuff as always from Park Lane Tavern :)
