Will charge you for fluoride even when you say you don't want it and they didn't give you the treatment. The quote they make you sign, even though you said, I don't want fluoride and their response was, it's just a quote, if you don't want it we will remove it, was then used as a "well you signed the quote". We thought we finally found a great dentist that takes military insurance. We schedule cleaning appointments and when we went there, they wanted to do x-rays which we already just had six months prior so we refused and had our previous records sent to them. They keep saying a treat plan. Then the dentist told my husband that he had a cracked filling my husband's in the military so the military dentist looked at it and said no you do not. then my husband had another cleaning appointment scheduled and when he showed up, they wanted to do another treatment plan and said he has the starting of gum disease and they will not do a cleaning until he has a deep cleaning of his gums with Novocain . I called and canceled my appointment because he said I had a cavity which I have no pain so I really don't believe them. Needless to say I told her we will not be returning. All we want is a dentist that cleans our teeth every six months. I told them you're just like Aspen dental and wanna just keep charging people and charging people and charging their insurance. If I could give -0 stars I would. I took my 93 y/o mother in for dentures. She had two extractions, they then give her the most flimsy dentures I've ever seen, they tell me she has two wait 8 months for permanent. She became Immobile and I asked for a partial refund. All they did was lie, they told me many times they would call back never did . The accountant was the worse liar, she told me if I came back the denture would be 3000 more. all I asked for was a partial refund because she never got her permanent denture. They are liars and scammers.I am talking about thousand of dollars.Do not go there you've been warned. read more

I stopped them from doing anything after I was first examined as my instinct smelled something rotten. My first hint was when I walked in and saw a big sign stating that 3 major dental insurers were now no longer honoring insurance claims from this practice. Don't even try to talk to the Office Manager, she was extremely rude and very UN-dignified! When I asked why their fee schedule was higher than the contractually obligated fee schedule with GEHA dental benefit plan (and they claimed to be in-network and I did confirm they were), I was insulted with a rude response from that Office Manager, and threatened that I would receive a letter of dismissal? I never heard of a patient being fired?? This is a conglomerate just like Aspen dental with corporate mandates that put profit ahead of patient care. Be careful, You've been warned. read more

The office is unqualified to do their job. They messed up my claim as they processed it under the wrong plan and as a non participating provider which they are. They charged me $100 incorrectly and now won't refund me. Waiting 2 months and phone calls are never returned. I should have never given them any money. I went today for a soft reline (dealing with this hard enough) the mixture was runny as putting in my mouth almost choked to death! At first all seemed to go well, but I had no major service done. For the first year all I wanted was my annual cleanings to get familiar with the place. After a year, I started my dental treatment plan. My first major service has become a long winded, minimum communication nightmare. I've been waiting a month and a half for a crown to be seated. The first crown was off colored and I was told they would put a rush on the second crown due to it being for my Incisors. When I call for an update, I'm told it will be another week. I have very high anxiety about going to the dentist so I was hesitant about even scheduling an appointment. I called on a Monday and was put in on the very next day as a new patient. The dentist was kind and helped put me at ease. The beat course of treatment was an extraction and a bridge down the road. This is, in my opinion, an inflexible practice that's focused on the needs of the dentist and hygenist, not the patient. I was concerned about what they wanted to do but my questions were CLEARLY not welcomed and my phone calls were not returned without follow up and even became rude. I had chipped front teeth he made a bridge crown that fell out with in a month my insurance denied his claim because follow protocol root canal studs then crown! he tried to attach crown to chipped teeth! when I went back to him after the crown fell out he insisted on pulling 4 teeth to make permanent bride I said if you cant make 2 crowns stay in how the hell are you gonna keep 4 in! he told me I cant make my own decisions on how to treat my teeth.! Historically, I have not been a fan of dentists - but when a long ago broken tooth started causing severe pain I knew it was time to pay a dentist a visit - having only moved to Conway less than a year ago- I started to do some research on the Conway Facebook page - and decided to go to Southern Oak on 501- I found the staff to be personable and professional - and the dentist to be professional, knowledgeable, and personable as well- he did a thorough exam and told me what would need to be done- and today he did it- and I am happy to say he helped me -I would highly recommend if you are in need of dental work you give them a try - I don't think you will regret it read more
