In a warm Southern kitchen, Fried Chicken sat at the center--golden, comforting, and full of heart. Collard Greens simmered nearby, steady and soulful, while Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Okra brought a cheerful crunch and playful energy to the table. Dirty Rice added depth with its rich, seasoned warmth, and Fried Pork Chops stood strong and generous, wrapped in comfort. At first, they were just dishes, each with their own flavor and story. But as they came together, something changed. Fried Chicken found balance in Collard Greens' quiet strength, while Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Okra became joyful companions. Dirty Rice connected them all, and Fried Pork Chops grounded the table with steady warmth. Together, they realized they were better as one--each bringing just enough spice, soul, and comfort without overpowering the others. In that simple kitchen, they became more than a meal--they became a family, sharing love in every bite. Patience was rewarded from the long wait in the back of the eatery as the "Employees Only!" reads: Behind these doors is a bunch of noise but a lot of love coming out...

Today we're experiencing Southern Style Eatery in Las Vegas. I'm from the south, and I've been on the hunt for some good fried chicken and okra. This is a family owned restaurant that takes a lot of pride in their food. Everything is made to order, and the wait is well worth it. Everything was amazing! We got a large portion of fried chicken enough for two people to split, fried okra, mac & cheese, beans, and rice, and cornbread all for under 30 bucks! Shout out to PJ for the perfect recommendations!

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. The ambiance/energy of the restaurant has an old school Southern vibe. The Fish Po Boy I had was good but the Fried Green Tomatoes tasted hard and overcooked. This restaurant provided very poor service not to me exactly but I received my food before a few people who have been waiting longer than me. A couple of ladies who sat right next to me got up and walked to the back takeout area to complain and then I heard to employees in the kitchen yelling at each other which is very unprofessional. When people walk into the Dine In section of the restaurant, there isn't any employees to greet them and there's no sign stating Open Seating or Please Wait To Be Seated. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. I hope these internal issues they have gets resolved.

Came for after service Sunday lunch and the food was AMAZING- seasoning on point, Mac n cheese was a hit, collards and yams! Ugh you gotta try it. There is a wait for the food about 30mins BUT it is worth it, the portion size is enough for two meals and it's HOT when it comes out which is highly appreciated. I knew my food was fresh when it came out which made the wait worth it. Cute little spot downtown. However parking is limited. The service isn't really service service it's like order and eat in type of service but as they grow and add full service (water, table check-ins and etc) it's gonna really take off (also it was extremely busy like every table filled busy). Definitely coming back again to try the oxtails and lemon peppah wings!

My Opinion..My review..IJS....WoW!!!!! When I say it's my opinion, that's what I mean!! This was one of theee best soul food spots of the year.. The pork chop was just like my mom use to make. Seasoned to perfection, crispy and fresh!! I haven't had cool-aide since the 90's I thought I was back at home!! Greens good and seasoned, Mac & cheesy was amazing. A Las Vegas hidden gem. I will definitely be back and let my family & friends know to stop by when in Vegas..This is a sharing moment.. My review..My opinion..IJS

This was our 2nd visit while in Vegas for my birthday weekend!! Our first visit was Easter weekend for our Anniversary and the food was amazing!! The service was great because we came right before closing. The food was fresh and delicious. The music was perfect, the right music at the right volume. The 2nd visit, we took family(mom, aunt and older cousin) and they LOVED IT! The food was amazing, fresh, hot out the pot and every dish was tasty! Hats off to the chef! I love the way the food is already in a to-go tray so no need to pack up the leftovers. The portions are the perfect size. The music was perfect for a Sunday meal. The owners are lovely people. If you are looking for good food then stop by and get you a plate of home cooked food. The booths are so comfy too!

There is nothing like coming to a place and what's on the menu they don't have or it's served on another day but doesn't state on the menu. Coming from the Bay Area where when you go to an establishment what you order on the menu you get. So, without even tasting the food I won't be back. I really ordered things I actually didn't want but I thought it would be rude to walk out. Mind you it was only 5pm and they close at 9p. So I'm really disappointed. I want to patronize folks but whe your going to have a meal have what's on the menu. I can't see myself coming back when town. I ended up at Ella M's to get what i wanted. No more recommendations from TikTok @Fred H. Business Mgr. Its all good. but no where on the menu where it says your sides are only served on certain days nor some of your meats. Again, when having a business advertising items on a menu and you run out is not cool at Any establishment. Once I got back to the hotel i found the food I did get was very tasty. And as i mentioned i did not want to walk out it would have been rude. Best, a patron.

The definition of delicious southern style food. Everything was flavored to perfection. The location and parking make the trip quick and easy. The interior decor is calm, cool and stylish. The waiters were super helpful and always stopped by to make sure everything was on point. 4-stars because ribs/BBQ is only weekends

Soul food in the city! I had a long couple of weeks and was feeling a bit drained. After doing a run at the Costco Business center. I sat in the parking lot and thought I need some soul food. Checked out Google and found this gem. This is definitely good food. So here's the deal. Dont come in a hurry but do come hungry and patient. The wait is longer than id like but it is soo good. So its worth it to me and to all the others patiently waiting. The music is lively and the staff was friendly. I will be back. Tip come early the specials sell out quickly. I was able to get the oxtails, mac n cheese and dirty rice. All winners.

Seasoned to perfection. Friendly customer service, make you feel like family. Reminisce that southern style cooking from grandma's house. Dine in and take out. 4th and Las Vegas Blvd. South.

This southern delicacy is took away near the Strat on the strip. Everything is cooked to order so you will have to wait for your food but it will be guaranteed to come out hot and fresh. We ordered the fried chicken with rice and gravy, yams, greens and macaroni. Everything was well season hot and fulfilling. I can appreciate the portion sizes especially the large size of the wings. If you're looking for a home cooked meal with friendly service and an inviting atmosphere, this is your spot.

I was in contact with the owner a week prior to my family visiting from various. I again spoke with PJ and was told someone contact me days prior to confirm however no one had. I again called to confirm my party of 20-22 people when I arrived in Vegas. The food was amazing !!! However I wish they had cornbread for us all as only maybe 4 people received it. They were also out of numerous dishes and also their listed kool aid. This was definitely unexpected as I spoke to them days before they confirm however things happen. The customer service was great as well as our waitress. I don't recall her name, but I do remember she was holding a pretty baby. All in all good spot to visitors to eat but I would call first especially with a party of a certain size.

We decided to try it for two reasons: we wanted to avoid the long wait at Palace Station Oyster Bar, and our 14-year-old was excited to try pan roast for the first time and loves raw oysters. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one couple seated by the window. We didn't let that discourage us from giving it a try. The restaurant appeared to be a true mom-and-pop operation, staffed by one cook, one kitchen helper, and a waitress who also greeted and seated guests. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and provided prompt service. We were quickly seated, given water, and handed menus. The décor is simple and unpretentious, creating a casual neighborhood feel. We ordered two Seafood Combo Pan Roasts, Linguine with Clams, a half dozen raw oysters, and an extra order of rice to soak up the pan roast sauce. The Seafood Pan Roast was disappointing. Instead of the rich, seafood creamy savory that makes this dish so satisfying, it leaned heavily on tomato sauce. The consistency was quite soupy, with only small pieces of seafood scattered throughout. The Linguine with Clams had a strong briny flavor but lacked the garlic, butter, and savory seasoning we were expecting. There was also very little clam meat, making the dish feel underwhelming. Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, but unfortunately the food didn't quite live up to our expectations. Based on the many positive reviews, I have a feeling we may have visited on an off day. We truly appreciated the attentive service and the convenience of easy parking, so we'd be open to giving PK Oyster Bar another try in the future.

Our entrees consisted of the Seafood Platter (lobster, prawns, scallops), and the Seafood Chopped Salad (prawns and romaine). My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both. The seafood in both dishes were perfectly grilled and succulent. I added Joe's cole slaw with my entree. It turned out to be a nice addition. Dean, our server, talk us into dessert.
