The temporary spare didn't allow more than about 70-ish miles on it per trip, so we found the nearest big city (Texarkana) and nearest Discount Tire, which was handily on the highway! I booked an appointment for first thing next morning to replace the busted tire, and also inspect the rest since we noticed a nail in the tread of another while rotating the wheels to put the spare on the back. They knew we had to get on our way due to the note I left plus chatting with us, and were mindful of our timeframe and got us out in 30 minutes! (Pro Tip: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, no matter what.) I can't say enough about using Discount Tire for your tire needs: they specialize in this and know what they're doing! We had bought the "certificates" on these tires last time, not really knowing it would be used, but drove away paying only $49 to certify the new tire (saving over $200) with the other nail repair, inspection, mounting and balancing for free. I can't imagine using anyone else!

I asked him if the customer is always right. He hung his head and said, "Yes." Hmmmmm!!! Need I say more. I'm done with Discount Tire. Period!!! I talked to several people about what happened and they said the customer service at Discount Tire in Texarkana had gone down in the last six months. I can believe it!!! I'm DONE. So Discount Tire tried to call me about the matter. I answered the phone and said hello at least five times. No one would answer me. And no, they never called back. What a way to do customer service!!!! Added later: I've tried twice to get my issue resolved and nothing has worked. Discount Tire said they would call me about the issue. They called alright. I answered the phone and no one would talk to me. Oh well, they tried to call at least. Then I do a Yelp review and they send me a link that will not work. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon when the tow truck got me to the shop, they immediately took it in and started to work to diagnose the problem. After some time, Travis came over and talked to me about what was going on with my vehicle and he told me that with his diagnostic equipment he really couldn't properly diagnose the problem and recommended that i take it to the Honda dealership. He told me that they could try to guess and keep changing parts but he felt it needed a proper diagnosis. I had to wait for someone to come pick me up and they wouldn't be getting there until after the shop closed but all of the guys told me it wasn't a problem and that I could wait inside and someone would stay until my ride got there.
