The dish we ordered medium was much less spicy than the mild. And even if they got the spice levels mixed up, the amount of paprika was entirely unpleasant. The best thing about this place is that they have waffle fries and that they're open super late--until 2 am. They have like five or six heat options, and I'm someone who loves spicy chicken, so I asked for extra hot. The cashier told me I had to sign a waiver for the extra hot, and I was like, okay hold on... maybe I don't want that. lol I ordered the three chicken tenders and fries combo, and the cashier told me I could choose a different heat level for each tender, which was very cool and convenient, so I got two medium and one hot. I think that was the right choice because hot is pretty hot--its labeled as cayenne heat level--so if you like spice, that level is enough. One thing I really didn't like was that the chicken was so dusty. The tenders are also fried soft, and I personally don't like chicken tenders that are fried soft like Raising Cane's--i know, unpopular opinion-- I like the skin to be a little crunchy. Well, it's not exactly as soft as Cane's, but it's also not as crispy as Bojangles (IYKYK). I think the chicken had some heat its own, but the extra heat is added after it's fried with this dry seasoning they toss it in or sprinkle on after it's fried. I feel like the heat should be in the chicken itself and not just added on top......but anyway, I'll probably be back again. The cashier was a very sweet young lady. This place is pretty solid. It's definitely not the BEST Hot chicken I've had, but when your cravings need to be satisfied, it definitely scratches the itch. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's not many places you can get this kind of meal in NOLA. The spicy waiver is real, we didn't get the spiciest level but we got something close to it & it is hot! Coming from an avid spicy food lover. I will say, this place is pretty bang for buck & you get your moneys worth. You can't beat an affordable meal that you can get at 3 AM! The sauces are really good too. We usually get the sliders and it's better than The Crunchwrap, but who wouldn't love a cheesy ensemble of chicken tenders wrapped in a greasy tortilla? I drive by often and have seen good reviews so I decided to give this place a try. The service was fast, they have a kiosk at the front where you can select what you want, it was easy to use. I ordered to go and my food didn't take very long to be ready. The atmosphere is about what to expect for fast food. I ordered the "Hot" Chicken sliders with sauce on the side. The sliders were really hot and spicy and tasty. I was not a fan of the sauce so I'm glad I got it on the side, but I did love the spiciness of the chicken. The Cole Slaw was meh, kind of dry. To start, the service was immaculate! Everyone was so kind and checked up on us multiple times. We may have gone on an "off" day because my sister has been here multiple times and raves about it and even she mentioned it wasn't quite its usual self. The chicken was a bit dry and under-seasoned. We ordered it at the "hot" spice level, and while I don't have a very highhessstt spice tolerance, I do enjoy a solid kick, and didn't feel that kick while biting in. Very cool neighborhood spot, was walking distance from our airbnb. Very spacious inside and had plenty seating for small or big groups. The whole restaurant was colorful and vibrant, I loved the decor inside. Our cashier was new to the job, but was very knowledgeable. She gave us some suggestions as far as food and also gave us a tale of caution when selecting spice levels! Great service from her. Food was realllllllly good and just as importantly it was extremely filling. We had the mac & cheese crunch wrap and the jumbo tenders both came with fries. Food had a ton of flavor and their dipping sauces were absolutely amazing as well. I grabbed a bunch of extra honey mustards and was using them throughout the trip at the airbnb. Wasn't sure what I was expecting when I came here because I honestly was looking for hot wings lol. Extra points because they have a drive thru, loves a convenient restaurant. This place opened up by my school recently and it deserves all the hype. The chicken is halal btw!!! I got the slider and chicken tender combo for roughly $15. The food was fresh and everything was seasoned so so well. I will say each time I come here they are slammed so be prepared to wait in line. This is a cool place to grab lunch. Inside is very lively and colorful and there's also a drive thru. I tried the jumbo tender and slider combo and everything was good. OMG!!! If you're looking for a place of good chicken cookin look no further than BLAZIN HOT CHICKEN. The food is incredible, delicious and spicy, think canes but the chicken actually has flavor and the sauce just as amazing. They offer 6 flavors with the top having CAROLINA REAPER in it. Ok, yall....i went to Blazin' last night for takeout around 8:45pm and the whole experience was MiD to say the least. We walked in (my daughter and I) and no one greeted us. They were enthralled in outside conversations and paid us no attention whatsoever. The customer service was deplorable, honestly. I ordered from the screen instead. I must say that the inside of the restaurant was clean. I assume there are more drive-thru orders. As far as the food...nothing to rave about. I'm super picky about my food being hot and fresh, but I had to get it delivered to work via GrubHub (shoutout to them--awesome service). I ordered the blazin' 3-piece tenders with mac & cheese when I went to get lunch. I haven't had better chicken in a long time. The dipping sauce that came with my order was excellent, and the chicken was expertly seasoned. I always eat my mac and cheese before my chicken, and this one was excellent.
