Came in on a Saturday night around midnight and ordered the mild combo meal. (1 mild slider with fries) the drink is sold separately. You will order on a tablet or with the cashier. I love that they are open late, cause this is perfect for those late nights after the club. If you had Dave's hot chicken, it's the same thing / same concept just open later!

To start, the service was immaculate! Everyone was so kind and checked up on us multiple times. We may have gone on an "off" day because my sister has been here multiple times and raves about it and even she mentioned it wasn't quite its usual self. The chicken was a bit dry and under-seasoned. We ordered it at the "hot" spice level, and while I don't have a very highhessstt spice tolerance, I do enjoy a solid kick, and didn't feel that kick while biting in. The fries felt similarly lacking in seasoning. The chicken portion also seemed a bit small. after a few bites, the sandwich was mostly bread with pickles and coleslaw left.

Very cool neighborhood spot, was walking distance from our airbnb. Very spacious inside and had plenty seating for small or big groups. The whole restaurant was colorful and vibrant, I loved the decor inside. Our cashier was new to the job, but was very knowledgeable. She gave us some suggestions as far as food and also gave us a tale of caution when selecting spice levels! Great service from her. Food was realllllllly good and just as importantly it was extremely filling. We had the mac & cheese crunch wrap and the jumbo tenders both came with fries. Food had a ton of flavor and their dipping sauces were absolutely amazing as well. I grabbed a bunch of extra honey mustards and was using them throughout the trip at the airbnb. I never had mac and cheese in a wrap before but that was a game changer, I would recommend this spot to everyone that stops by the city.

Wasn't sure what I was expecting when I came here because I honestly was looking for hot wings lol. Extra points because they have a drive thru, loves a convenient restaurant. The service was great, there was a wait, it wasn't that long but it was to be expected. The food was really good. I got the mild flavor, wanted to keep it simple and it was really decent. The chicken was juicy and the sliders came with this coleslaw mixture that didn't really give coleslaw. 10/10, can't wait to try this place again.

Stopped in for lunch when we got in town. Lady at counter was very friendly and patient as we reviewed the menu. Ordered the 3 piece tender which came with fries and toast. I had the mild sauce placed on mine. Each order is cooked to order so comes out nice and hot. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. Waffle fries really good too. Meal was plentiful, I couldn't finish it all. Nice stop for tasty hot chicken tenders.

This place opened up by my school recently and it deserves all the hype. The chicken is halal btw!!! I got the slider and chicken tender combo for roughly $15. The food was fresh and everything was seasoned so so well. I will say each time I come here they are slammed so be prepared to wait in line. I've also tried their strawberry shake (not pictured) and it was pretty good. Will absolutely come again.

This is a cool place to grab lunch. Inside is very lively and colorful and there's also a drive thru. I tried the jumbo tender and slider combo and everything was good. It comes with 2 dips and waffle fries. Drinks aren't included with the combo. For my first visit I chose the medium heat level which was perfect for me.

"blazin #5" but gave us blazing #6

Great food, but not what we thought we ordered.. we both got the #5 which looks like chicken on a slider with fries on the side, but we got a box with everything mixed together, chicken, macaroni, pickles, cheese, fries, it looked like loaded fries. Definitely didn't look like the picture on the menu. it was great but not what we wanted, we went through the drive-through and didn't check till we got home.

Ok, yall....i went to Blazin' last night for takeout around 8:45pm and the whole experience was MiD to say the least. We walked in (my daughter and I) and no one greeted us. They were enthralled in outside conversations and paid us no attention whatsoever. The customer service was deplorable, honestly. I ordered from the screen instead. I must say that the inside of the restaurant was clean. I assume there are more drive-thru orders. As far as the food...nothing to rave about. Chicken was room temp, overly seasoned and fries were ice cold. I wouldn't go back.

    Sauces nasty

Cashier did not greet anyone at the counter .....the sandwhich was ok 6 out of 10...waffle fries were cold and the sauces were nasty imitation canes sauce and sweet mayo for dipping...They also charge a surcharge fee of 3%.

The fried chicken was the star--served hot and fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside, and incredibly juicy on the inside. Just good, classic Southern fried chicken done right. The sides were great, but the fried green tomatoes are a MUST. They were fresh, crispy, flavorful, and had the perfect crunch without being greasy. This was also my first time ever trying chess pie, and WOW! It was absolutely to die for--rich, sweet, buttery, and the perfect ending to the meal. The service was friendly and welcoming, and everything came out fresh. Sometimes the best food spots are the ones you just happen to stumble upon. Well I visited and MAN did I enjoy the spicy fried chicken. The crunchy exterior, juicy meat and hearty sides following by a slice of perfect pie washed down by a beverage of your choose your choice-choo-choosing makes it evident why the chicken crossed the road- to get to Gus's You order at the counter and in my case, take a seat and enjoy one of the many tables in an open seating area it lens itself from one person table, top to multiple people in larger parties. You sit and chill and it's brought out to your table which I think is a nice touch of customer service. What happens next is nothing short of Magic. Voodoo Chicken & Daiquiris - New Orleans…read more With so much legendary fried chicken in New Orleans, this place has no business being as good as it is--but it absolutely holds its own. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and packed with crunch. The breading had great texture and stayed crisp all the way through. It's not trying to reinvent fried chicken; it just executes it well. One thing to know before you go: unlike many chicken spots, you can't order individual pieces. The menu starts with a 2-piece meal for $14.99, which includes fries and a biscuit. Not exactly a bargain, but portions are fair for the French Quarter where everything comes with a tourist tax. The atmosphere is loud, colorful, and over-the-top New Orleans. Neon lights, daiquiri machines, and a cotton-candy-cloud ceiling make it impossible to miss. This review is strictly about the chicken. I'm not a fan of the super-sugary daiquiris, so I can't speak much to the drinks. But if you're wandering the French Quarter craving fried chicken, Voodoo deserves consideration even among the city's stiff competition. Worth ordering: Crispy fried chicken meal Skip if: You're looking for cheap eats or just want a single piece of chicken. Overall: Solid fried chicken with excellent crunch in a fun French Quarter setting.

The chicken tenders were delicious and, best of all, they were not skimpy at all. They were big, nice-sized tenders, and the combo was only about $9.99, which I thought was a great price for the amount and quality of food. The atmosphere is very casual, especially being on Canal Street with the doors open, but the staff was friendly and welcoming. The cashiers greeted me when I walked in, took my order, gave me a number, and I sat down while they prepared my food. They brought the meal to my table when it was ready, which was nice. They also have daiquiris, so that's another option if you're looking for something to enjoy with your meal. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures this time. I was too hungry and completely forgot! But trust me, the food was good, the portions were generous, and the price was reasonable. Definitely worth a visit and definitely worth going back. If you're visiting New Orleans, especially as a tourist looking for some good, reasonably priced food, I'd say give Willy's Chicken Shack a try!

Willie's Chicken Shack - New Orleans…read more If you've walked through the French Quarter, you've seen Willie's. It's everywhere. The formula is simple: fried chicken, frozen daiquiris, neon lights, and hungry tourists. Like Voodoo, you can't order individual pieces of chicken. Meals start at $13.99 for a 2-piece dark meat combo or $14.99 for a 2-piece white meat combo, both served with fries and a biscuit. The chicken arrived fresh, hot, and crispy. The crunch was definitely there, and everything tasted like it had just come out of the fryer. The problem wasn't texture--it was flavor. The seasoning felt pretty light, leaving the chicken tasting a little plain compared to some of the better fried chicken options around town. The biggest comparison is against Voodoo Chicken & Daiquiris. Both have nearly identical menus and concepts, but Voodoo gets the edge for me. Their cross-cut fries are better, the atmosphere is more unique, and the chicken had a little more flavor overall. That doesn't mean Willie's is bad. If you're exploring the Quarter and need a quick fried chicken fix, it'll absolutely get the job done. It just didn't stand out in a city loaded with incredible fried chicken. As for the daiquiris, I didn't try them. Frozen sugary cocktails aren't really my thing, so this review is strictly about the food. Worth ordering: 2-piece chicken meal if you're hungry and nearby. Best part: Fresh, hot chicken with a solid crunch. Needs improvement: More seasoning and flavor in the breading. Compared to Voodoo: Slightly behind in both food and atmosphere. Overall: A decent French Quarter fried chicken stop, but not one I'd go out of my way to revisit when there are stronger options nearby.
