Functional burger shack bites, nice location and staff Came here on a whim, heard good things about the pulled pork so we decided to give it a try. Ordered a hot dog and the pulled pork sandwich. Food came out quick and we dug in. The pulled pork was tender and not dry. The pork itself was cooked well but didn't really have any flavor. The bbq sauce was sweet but not very present, bun was generic, and the coleslaw was fresh and crispy but the slaw sauce was creamy but bland. It really needed a salty element, something like a vinegar slaw or pickle to give it some salt and crisp. The hot dog was executed well. Grilled dog, good bun to dog ratio, toasted bun in butter, dog was a Hummel dog so it's missing the snappy salty bite I hope for in a good hot dog, but it's prepped well. Nothing that we got was bad, but nothing was great either. It's good but basic, and It's a better place to go to compared to fast food. read more

Wow NICEST owner and staff around, not to mention everything we ordered was fresh, made to order and delicious! My sister-in-law and I had the Classic Burgers; both were cooked exactly how we ordered them (hers was medium rare, mine medium well). It was a big burger too. My brother ordered a Pulled Pork sandwich with coleslaw in it. He loved it and when my sister-in-law tried it she said it was even better than the hamburgers. So I guess that is the sandwich to get? The menu had a lot of variety to it. We sat outside because we were traveling with my fur niece. The grill cook was extremely friendly and a dog lover. He offered Lacy a piece of grilled chicken. After ordering inside they brought our food out to us and came back with a slice of Turkey for the pups... definitely a dog friendly and loving establishment. They checked on us 2-3 times and each time we enjoyed a friendly conversation with them. They surprised us their last visit with 3 freshly made mini cannoli, which were out of this world. What a nice discovery! We were on our way back from an appointment, but if it were closer I would *definitely* make it a regular spot to dine. Highly recommend. read more

If you are looking for a local grill and chill restaurant, Southside Grill is the place to be! They have the most friendly staff! Very knowledgeable, friendly and patient! The food is amazing as well! My favorites include the grilled cheese and the steak and cheese sandwich! They have a big menu as well including some delicious items and are fairly priced! They also have a beautiful outdoor arrangement! They have a nice set of chairs and tables along with a fireplace outside! Overall, I have nothing but great experiences here and I recommend coming here asap! read more

The food here is always fresh and perfectly cooked. The website on yelp is one of the worst I've seen in years. I know it's a nuisance to take down or change what you're offering but you have a beautiful picture of cannolis----but you don't have them any more. Spend some money on a good website developer. Your shop is tiny and hidden in a tiny strip plaza. Give it a boost with a "real" website. read more

We decided to stop by when we were int he area due to the reviews and are glad we did! This is a nice little spot on Route 10 in Cheshire. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our food was ready right on time. I got the Straton MT, which was a great choice! The shaved steak was perfect cooked, and the cranberry mayo had a great flavor. My wife loved her lobster roll! Wake up and smile, Cheshire; you've got a great new place for lunches, grab-and-go, takeout, or dinner. I had a Caesar salad, ready to grab and go, in the refrigerated display, and it was uber fresh, with shavings of cheese. I loved it. I asked for a meatless soup option, and they had lobster bisque (next time), clam chowder (If my mom was with me), and a meatless minestrone (winner, winner). It tasted as if they made it specifically for me, a little spicy, fresh parsley, and star pasta. I loved that it was made with light pasta and not loaded with beans so that I could taste the soup. I got a coffee with cream, and it tasted like they took the creamer from my house. (Lol) I use Silk Almond Creamer at home, which has the perfect sweetness. I don't know what creamer they used, but they're making all the right choices, in my opinion. There are only about four tables inside, but they each seat 4. The parking lot is a bonus. It's nice and wide, easy to pull into a spot. If you have a long F-150, you can pull right up to the front door, then back up and out with room to spare. That's going to make it easier in winter.
