The staff is very friendly and helpful. They told me they make their own vanilla syrups and roast their own coffee beans. After some quick back and forth, the worker recommended I try their eggplant shakshuka and their iced shaken cappuccino. Both were phenomenal! I honestly am counting down the days til I get to be back in the area for that shaken cappuccino again! The subtle flavor notes from their roasted beans really shines through and is balanced by the cream they use. The eggplant shakshuka was also great. It wasn't too spicy but it was a lot of flavor with each bite. I was so into the sauce that I almost forgot to save some to eat with the toasted baguette slices that came with the plate! Can't wait to go back to try other stuff!

GONE **NOTE: Some of my favorites were still on the menu, but they're clearly made ahead-of-time with far inferior ingredients and reheated before service *The amazing Jacobsen finishing salt lovingly and PERFECTLY sprinkled on every steak before service? GONE *The AMAZING staff that LITERALLY were literally more like family than wait staff? GONE (well, probably 95% of them anyway, a literal couple originals were still on-staff during my last visit, but they clearly weren't happy, and appeared to be under a LOT of stress). *Steaks that defy their relatively low price point? Generally good but the bread was carbonized and as hard as a rock. Burger + fries - 3/5. Burger looked sad but was actually pretty tasty, if a little overcooked. Fries looked great (hand cut) but upon us closer inspection in the low light, you could see they were 50% those tiny peel pieces that get burned when frying. Guys! You are supposed to take those pieces out! Salmon - 3/5. Kind of... fine. A little fishy, not really what i expect for King salmon. Chicken pasta for toddler - 4/5. Actually this was delicious (if a bit overcooked) and it will my leftover lunch (toddler didn't eat it but that isn't the pasta's fault). The menu consists of starters, salads, entrees and drinks. The portions are good size to me; having the side house salad, bruschetta and the starter meatballs were enough for a meal! Parking gets a little crazy on a busy friday night as the lot fills up fast. The brunch menu sounds good so I will have to visit again!

Times. Because they were out of things on the menu they couldn't work out in one go apparently, both food and drink, and we'd have to quietly and as unobtrusively as possible figure out alternatives. Then it took stunning Ages to get the food out. Which, to be fair, was tasty for vegan eats. The totchos were drowning in So Many goopy layers, it was more like eating a wet salad on top of lumpy mash, but still, pretty tasty. We also had drinks and entrees. However, about a half hour after we ate, we started getting sick. I held on as long as I could, mostly until I could get home, when the throwing up started. It didn't end for some time. I had eaten nothing else that day, and neither had my cohort who ate the same as I did. Once the food was out of my gut, I was completely fine. If we ever go back it will be entirely for the entertainment because having a menu doesn't actually mean you have your shit together in the kitchen, and I can't risk what was very likely mild food poisoning. I can eat some gnarly food, I'm kind of a garbage disposal that way, so there's no other explanation. I wish them the best, they've got a great venue.
