The worse place. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST! They damaged my brand new bike more than what was wrong then try to charge me for the damages. Worse place in town. I took it up with them with proof of the damages and the invoice to get reimbursed for only the damage done for them to act childish. They tried to hold my bike hostage when I try to have it towed to a different shop. They will overcharge you and damage your bike. Look at the reviews on Yelp of all the people who took their bikes here and they were damaged beyond what was originally needed. Shitty people, shitty service. I tried to give yall a chance. I have a 94 Magna that needed a new rear tire. Lots of shops will not work on a 94. I called around and got quotes for a tire buy and install as high as $485, which is ridiculous for a tire I can buy inline for $185. I called Sam and he was nice over the phone. He quoted me $279 for the tire and I asked if that was installed. He said sure bring the bike down and we'll install it for you. I went down that day and ordered the tire with $100 deposit. I had to wait a week for my next day off in order to get the tire installed. That's on me because the tire had to be ordered. To be clear, I am not unhappy with the work they did and Sam seems like a good enough guy. I just wish they would have been up front with the $100 labor on the install. Another annoying thing was the $4 charge for a valve stem after I paid a pretty good markup on the tire itself and the labor. So out the door I paid $370.53 Which was about $100 more than I was expecting. Since I'm new to the area I'm not sure if I will use this shop again. read more

Sam is a great guy kinda funny to but I have to give it to the mechanics I pretty much gave them a basket case to get running and they did a great job sorting out a variety of issues my bike had and in a fairly timely manner. My bike is a bit older so most other shops won't even touch it but I heard no complaints about it from these guys. read more

I brought this bike to them and basically asked them to get it running again. They did that and more than I expected for way less than I had anticipated! All the people giving good ratings are of the white race or people who know them for business ratings I'm black and had a totally bad experience i rode my bike to the shop I picked it up no signals no dash readings no cooling fans and it would not change gears missing body parts if your bike is there and you are not white I suggest you go get it the proof is in the pudding watch for red flags the first is them not calling you in two weeks or calling with more money costing issues sam called me told me it was ready soon as I walked in he told me he lied to me he couldn't fix it take it went to take my bike home and there was a piece hanging that prevented the bike from turning right almost dropped in the parking lot they had to keep it another two days they suck I'm totally pissed off it was there because someone tried to steal it and screwed up the ignition just for an ignition replacement initially since he couldn't fix it he said there's no charge I offered 250 on a $600 bill i didn't know he destroyed my bike even worse than the attempt to steal it read more

I love Sam and this shop. I go out of my way to do business here to support this small shop. I've never had anything but great experiences and don't expect anything else. Prior to making the Sturgis Run in 2021 (I rode mine) I asked Sam to just do a "once over" on the bike to make sure no issues. He actually found some loose components that could have created a serious problem for me and definitely showed that they cared about my bike and knew what I was asking for. I've read the negative reviews of Sam's and all I can say is that hasn't been my experience at all. I swear by Sam and will continue doing business with him. read more

03/03/2021 After reviewing Sam's cycle last month,,, I got no response from Sam or anyone from the shop that would be concerned that my Bike was not repaired properly and not rideable after spending my hard earned MONEY and after having other work previously done at this shop, I seem to have been kicked to the CURB 02/08/2022. My 2005 Honda vtx1800 has not been right since it left your shop,, Sam's Cycle Repair,,,,my turn signals are kriscrossed,, and tangled with my brake lights,,,,my left turn signal activates right rear light,, and activates the brake light on turn signal,, and license plate light,,,wires are backwards,, this could have been deadly for me,, also my stop engine red switch ,, if you tap on the handle bars the engine shuts off ,, this is also a killer,, just a bump in the road causes the bike to shut off,, what happen ,, It's a short in my electrical system and why was my bike Flagg as ready,, when I picked it up no one said anything like,, be careful your blinkers are backwards,, I never had and problems with my bike since I purchased it,, never, now I'm having electrical issues I never had before,,, I brought it in for check my bike,, it ends up being fuel pump at a cost of $1,000 ,, ok when I picked it up rode it two blocks my blinkers go out,,,,,What the H__LL,, ok Sam said bring it back took two weeks he calls me and says it's your turn signal relay,, ok he said it's gonna cost $70.00, wow I knew then something was wrong,, they shorted my bike out majorly and caused electrical problems,, I haven't been able to ride my bike since cause it just shuts off when you hit a bump or jar the Handel bars,,,plus turn signals are backwards,, I'm devastated,, brought this bike brand new in 2005 never any issues other than a battery or tires,,, they never should have said my bike was ready,,, I got screwed and he says bring it back,,,,,,,, well I'm scared to take it back,,, who worked on my bike,,, he's not a bike mechanic that's for sure,, I believe there was nothing wrong with my bike from the beginning maybe other than a blown fuse,,,,, so who can you trust,, not sure what to do at this point,, obviously gonna cost me more money$$$$$ things have changed ,,,VERY VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER Sent from the all new AOL app for iOS read more

I called ahead to see how much it would be to have my tires replaced. I told the gentleman on the phone I already had the tires on hand. When I reached the store the next day, the owner I'm assuming, told me to return my tires and buy them from him. I said no, I have them in my hand. Why would I do that? After that, he refused my business because I wouldn't return the tires I bought. Completely rude and unprofessional. I was referred to moto monkeyz by a customer in the store. I want in to have my atv looked at why it would not start. So after a week. I get a call back & he tells me he checked the oil in there is none so come get I owe him 40 bucks. The engine is blown. Now I told him when I dropped it off there was no oil I took it out. So I brought it to another place and they fixed it it was a bad bearing. So I want back & talk to Sam & I made something up & he said ya it was that That was broke. So basically he held my bike for a week and charge me $40 for no reason. Great service. Good places to take your toys to get worked on is hard to find. Sam's cycle has always been great and honest and doesn't try to rip people off by selling them stuff they dont need. They will be straight with you and tell you exactly what you need. They usually do have alittle bit of a wait maybe a couple days to a week or two but that is because they are good at what they do. Worth the wait. I have lots of friends that have used Sam's cycle and I will be bringing my toys back to Sam's again. Thank you for the great work and taking care of my toys. read more

Sam is the best. His shop has a personal, small town feel. He took the time to educate me on various things (I'm new to the motorcycle world). I bought the equipment from him and tried to do some repairs myself, failed terribly, and Sam was willing to fix my mistakes without charge. I've been in Las Vegas with my Suzuki GS500F as the only mode of transportation. Just took it to Sams to have it serviced. The staff, and Sam himself, were very friendly. The shop carries mostly off-road cycle supplies, and some conventional bicycle supplies as well (for younger children), but they can service street bikes even. read more

I crashed my 1988 Honda Hawk and did not know where to take it. I am a new rider and I did't want to go somewhere and get the run-a-round, so as is my usual, I turned to Yelp for help. I have to say Sams deserves all the hype and more. Everyone there is really nice, knowledgeable, and not judgmental. Sam is seriously the coolest motorcycle repair shop owner ever. Horrible!!! I walked in prepared to spend a min. Of $600 dollars to 3 of my son's toys back in action and was treated as a irratent instead of a paying customer. By Mr. Sam of Sam's Cycles none the least! ( I guess he forgot the reason he is in business and open on Sunday was to make money.... ) I walked out, didn't spend a penny and will be happy to give my money to one of his competitor's that will appreciate it on Monday morning.
