My star rating has nothing to do with my surgeon. My surgeon and the team assisting him during my procedure were wonderful. I even returned a few days later with a sinus infection, and Dr. Stabley was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. The surgical care itself was excellent. However, my experience with the administrative side of this office has been very disappointing. I overpaid for my surgery and was issued a refund check, which unfortunately expired before I cashed it. That part is on me. After finding the check again in mid-August, I contacted the office to have it reissued. Since then, it has been four months of calling, emailing, and trying to get a simple replacement check. I have been told multiple times that the issue is being taken care of and that I would receive a call back, which never happens. I've sent and received a total of 13 phone calls since August, plus multiple emails. I've also spoken with the practice administrator--who has been kind--but the problem still hasn't been resolved. I've been given conflicting information: that the check was mailed to my home and rerouted by USPS due to an incorrect address (even though the address they read back to me was correct), that the check was then supposedly mailed to the office instead and expected to arrive on 11/19/25, and later that follow-up would be provided--yet no one ever follows through. I even went in person on 12/8 to ask about the status, was promised a next-day update, and still received nothing. I received another update on 12/10 that the check would be sent to their office by the next week. Given that it's now the 21st of December, I don't think I'll be seeing this check by the end of the year as they mentioned. It should not take months to reissue a refund, and it's extremely discouraging to feel constantly overlooked. I genuinely wanted to continue coming here and recommending my clientele because my surgical experience was great, but the ongoing lack of communication and follow-through from the front office has been very disappointing. read more

Absolutely amazing care! I needed a wisdom tooth removed and this was the first place that came up on google. I paid out of pocket and Cindy helped me with the financial stuff and I was surprised how well priced it was. Jeanette guided me through the whole process then Dr. Defelice was my oral surgeon. I still cant believe how quick and painless the procedure was, I kid you not from start to finish I was in the door at 12:50 for a 1:00pm consultation and I was out at 1:50 with my tooth removed and feeling fine. I don't know if I just got lucky but man I hate getting my teeth worked on and I cannot believe how lucky I was to find these guys of all places. SO impressed by Dr. Saiz and the entire team here. Went in for a wisdom tooth that was growing sideways towards my cheek. I've already gone through wisdom tooth extractions twice in my life because mine decided to come out all at separate times. I've had some pain and issues from my previous ones. I am honestly shocked to say I have had ZERO pain from this extraction. I'm talking not even a twinge, throb, nada. He got the tooth out in maybe 15 seconds and it was done. Removed THE WRONG TOOTH during surgery! My 6 year old son had oral surgery to remove three teeth. Our dentist sent over a very specific order indicating which teeth had to be removed. We even had a pre-op appointment to go over the surgery. With all that being said - Dr. Buch removed THE WRONG TOOTH!! I noticed once his little mouth healed. They sent over a summary of the work completed to our dentist and apparently just copied the original order - not outlining what was actually done during surgery. I contacted our dentist (which we love), they confirmed the wrong tooth was removed. They were as horrified as we were. The dentist called Dr. Buch's office and spoke with the office manager. But WE NEVER received a call, an apology or any mention of the mistake. Our dentist was more apologetic than the person who made the mistake. My son went under anesthesia for this surgery then because of the mistake he had to endure another procedure to fix Dr. Buch's mistake. Now I need to chase down compensation for the additional procedure that he had to endure. We did randomly receive a text that 1/2 of the cost of the original surgery would be refunded. But what happened to human decency, an apology would have gone very far. read more

If I could give this place a 100 stars if I would! That is how great of a experience . I know it sounds weird liking a place that operates on you and pulls your teeth but my experience was GREAT! Dr. Saiz and the staff were stellar! I went in because one of my wisdom teeth had come in and had pretty bad cavity. They brought me in and sat me down to watch a video about getting your wisdom teeth pulled after it was over Dr Saiz came in and asked "how much of the video did you really watch?" After a good laugh and I told him most of it, They scheduled me for the earliest appointment they could get me in. Fast forward to my operation date. They brought me and wife in to explain what all was going to happen. They hooked me up to the laughing gas and I was ready to go... side note the gas literally had me giggling like a little school girl. Dr. Saiz came in asked me how I was doing and what music I wanted to be playing, before I could answer I was OUT! When I woke up they were all there to welcome me back and take me to the post op room to meet my wife. They explained everything that needed to happen afterwards in detail and sent us on our way. Later that night Dr. Saiz called me to check in on how I was feeling and making sure I was taking my meds. Post op check up was great too. Disclaimer;I have not have any work done by this office. However, upon trying to set an appointment for a consultation I have run into various issues involving the office staff. It seems as though I continuously reach a woman who is unsatisfying with her job as a secretary. The office woman is rude and very blunt regarding questions about insurance and how much things are going to cost. I found this office to be very unhelpful and displeasing. It is for this reason they seem untrustworthy to handle my oral surgery and I decided to look elsewhere. I honestly was so so so nervous for my wisdom teeth removal surgery. I have never had surgery before, and my pain tolerance is very low and I had to have all 4 taken out!!! However, from the very start, Southwest Oral made this process so easy! The ladies in the lobby were very nice and supportive. Dr. Saiz was the BEST!!! From my first consultation, to the beginning and end of the surgery. He even called me at the end to of the day to check up on me. This entire process could not have gone any smoother!! I had my wisdom teeth extraction with Dr. Buch & I definitely recommend him and this place! I first did a consultation and he recommend for me to be IV sedated since one of my wisdom tooth that was giving pain was impacted. I agreed, since I get anxious with hearing the drill and getting 4 teeth yanked out didn't sound like fun to me. I waited a couple of months until I scheduled the surgery. On surgery day, I can't recall too much since I was drugged up. I just know I slept the whole entire time and fell back to sleep. Then later that evening Dr Buch called to follow up on me to see how I was doing - great customer service!!! I went back to my follow up 2 week appointment. They cleaned the site and gave me something to clean the site therefore food doesn't get stuck. Now I'm healed all well, thanks Dr Buch and the rest of Southwest Oral Surgery team! read more

I've been coming to this office for 6 months and the doctors are very nice and knowledgeable, yet the front desk receptionist are often pretty rude. I've spoke to numerous girls on the phone when I call to pay my bills or to schedule my appointments and they've either been unknowledgeable about invoices and services their work offers yet trying to convince me otherwise; and extremely rude on top of it. You can't even walk in without being rudely talked to, I said hello hi I'm checking in for an appointment and the girl opened her eyes huge and stared at me and said NAME not even hello or hi but acted like I was stupid for saying hello and greeting her, just blantly rude and you can't train customer service so that's why I'm giving this place 3 stars, wish they would hire nicer people. read more

I went into this place with a chip on my shoulder. Fussy and somewhat demanding. The ladies at the front desk gave me all of the right and accurate answers which helped put me at ease. Even after that, the surgical assistant and the doctor treated me like a V.I.P. It's a nice facility with a calm atmosphere and I can't say enough about the awesome staff. What is important to mention is that the work that Dr. Buch and his assistant, Cynthia did today was extraordinarily quick and painless. They explained everything in every possible detail. Today I had a bone graft and sinus lift. Southwest made everything very easy for me, clean office, friendly staff, and referred by my dentist. I originally received a quote from my Ortho surgeon I used for my wisdom teeth and Southwest oral were almost half cheaper and referred by my dentist who is fantastic and trusting, Dr. Brandon Lee!! Best price out of the three or four I shopped. All and all great place. I have my follow appointment next Monday and will update then. Actually, I don't even have to wait until next Monday. Dr. Buch just called me at 8pm from his cell phone to make sure I was doing well. I've never had a doctor call you after hours day of surgery without I being a return call. Great practice, some may junk not a big deal, but to take the time to do that shows he cares or at least remembers his patients. Thank you Dr. Buch and staff! This may be inappropriate for a review however Dr. Buch is also handsome so that's a plus. Even if he wasnt easy on the eyes they would get a five star!! read more

Where do I even begin?! This place does not deserve any stars and I wish I could give zero stars. Not sure where all the 5 stars came from. I came in with severe pain and needed assistance immediately. When I arrived for in for my appointment the receptionist was not very friendly. I waited in the waiting room for about 5-10 minutes and taken back for my appointment. The lady that took me back had an attitude and was not friendly at all. Upon taking the X-ray she put zero effort to position me correctly and there was an error in the X-ray. I was left standing in the machine for 2-3 minutes when it shouldn't have taken that long. I had another assistant come over to reposition me and he was equally as rude. I was finally taken back to the room and the rude assistant asked me all the basic questions they ask you. Again with an attitude and not really concerned I was in pain (didn't even ask where the pain was). Later, they had another assistant come in to take X-rays of the pain area. I told her that I was in so much pain and I was not able to open my mouth very much. Needless to say, she tried to take X-rays anyway and I finally told her that it wasn't going to happen. They had me watch some crappy video on wisdom teeth extractions and the process which is something that the oral surgeon is suppose to explain to you. After awhile, the oral surgeon came in to talk to me. He (like his staff) was just as rude and basically told me that I was screwed either way if I left my wisdom teeth in or taken them out. He also said that I would possibly get IV sedation for wisdom teeth removal but for sure local. I'm like what? He also mentioned that I would most likely be left with nerve damage and he didn't feel comfortable doing the surgery before I saw a cardiologist for clearance (due to some chest pain I had in the past). The next day I saw a cardiologist (per the recommendation) and I called back the oral surgeon office saying that I wasn't given clearance until the cardiologist did some tests. The lady on the phone at the oral surgeon office didn't seem at all concerned and told me that I would be getting a call back after she spoke with the oral surgeon before the end of the day. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. Needless to say I went to another oral surgeon who took the time to explain everything and made me feel at ease and was scheduled for surgery as soon as possible. I've been terrified of the dentist and any oral doctors since I was really young I always hesitated coming and I finally got to the point where the pain in three of my teeth was soo bad and infected I had to get them out. Southwest oral was by far the best office I have ever been to all of the staff was extremely nice and supportive. It's me again with an update: it's day two and I forgot to call Southwest oral about them not sending me an email receipt for the bill I paid. I was so busy with things so I also forgot to check my emails until late tonight. I thought for sure someone in the office had read my Yelp review like before. So first I checked Care credit and yes my payment went thru. Then I check all my emails from yesterday and today and my husbands for a receipt. You guessed it nothing I paid them over $500. and I can't get them to send me a receipt. Now I'll have to call them and request they send me a receipt. Once again great Dr. and staff in back horrible reception/ front desk people. I don't recommend due to untrained front end people who are the ones that can really mess things up with your insurance. My husband and I have been nothing but nice to them on the phone. But you would think with all the issues and the notes in their computer that they would know to make sure to get things correct with us. What an awesome experience. I had previously had my lower wisdom teeth out under Novocain only and had a horrible recovery. I was very nervous for this. Dr Saiz is very down to earth and makes you feel comfortable. I was given medication to help relax the night before and morning of which helped tremendously.
