Southwest Turf Pros did an excellent job with our pavers in Troon North. Wow, beautiful work. The job was done in a timely manner.

I wish I read the Yelp reviews and not the 4.8 stars on Google prior to getting service. They did have the lowest price ($5,900) out of 5 other companies to get sod installed with pavers. The irrigation lines were "buried" less than an inch down. The valve box was 9 inches above the ground. It took them over two months to come out and fix it which was also subpar. The workers left a glass bottle and trash on the side of the house. One of the workers also took one of my shovels and a lighter. read more

Leo and his crew did an excellent job on my installation. The color of the turf was exactly what I had in mind. The Sierra Blend choice looks no different from the perfectly trimmed lawn II could envision with real grass. Extremely poor workmanship, similar experience to other reviewers. Poorly installed irrigation system, wrong tips, dead plants, retaining wall is cracking and falling apart, Leo agreed it was warrantied but never responded to a request for repair date. They will quote you a decent price however the shoddy work, lack of communication, poor customer service and not standing behind their work will end up costing you more in the long run. Go with anyone else BUT SWTP. read more

Horrible! Avoid at all cost! Kept delaying start date because they had bigger jobs. During installation they punctured the high pressure AC line. They lied about it and tried covering it up. They only fessed up after we had Parker & Sons (btw great company) take pictures and showed us how sand entered the system, froze it and cost us a whole new HVAC The owner is very unprofessional and a cheat. Who's is most likely the reason the people below him suck. Southwest Turf Pros was great to work with. I was thrilled with the outcome! I had 5 different companies which I chose from and so pleased that Southwest Sod was my choice. Their pricing was better and their knowledge was impressive. I would work with them again and again! They cleaned out the backyard, fixed a horrible drainage problem and placed turf. They did an outstanding job. Every single one of them were hard workers and good at what they were doing. The company was easy to communicate with (I worked mostly with Max) and pretty efficient at responding. Also, they were able to start my lawn much sooner than any other company. My experience with them was one which was very positive. They were honest, good men. And great personalities to boot! I have another project that I hope to get done soon and will absolutely reuse this company!! read more

Don't do it. These guys are a cluster and do not complete the job. They started back in May and we thought they finally completed the job late June, but we noticed ripples in the putting green. They came out and confirmed and said they would fix - that was almost 2 months ago. They are ignoring our contact now and got kicked off thumbtack. read more

Definitely do NOT use this company! We hired them to replace some backyard turf and relocate pavers. We had a verbal (and later written) agreement for the company to return and finish moving some pavers. I have been trying to contact the company for weeks now with no response. read more

We set a date set for paver install January 12th in the morning. I took the day off work so I could be home. 11am came and I texted the Owner Leo for an update ( no response) noon came around and I called Leo phone and left a Voice mail ( no response ) 130pm came by and I texted Leo again that I have been waiting for install all day and took the day off work for nothing. So I've held out as long as I care to, hoping I could resolve this situation before it got to this point. My dealing with Leo and SWTP started back in May 2022. (I've kept every text conversation, picture and conversation from day 1 just in case) I was given a great price for 900sqft of turf, landscaping and irrigation, rock spreading, mailbox stucco. I will say the grass turned out amazing, everything else however was a disaster. Sadly the grass closest to the house started to split, he is blaming it on a retaining wall that "wasn't to code". Well it IS to code, there are 2 sink holes at the corners which he did say keep an eye on. He did NOT say it would void a warranty, and if he thought for a second it would he shouldn't have taken the job or did the job in a manor in which it wouldn't void it, but instead he just did it. To top it off I was never informed I needed to register the grass with the supplier in order to have it warrantied for any replacement. Here are a few issues, the pavers leading to my pool were not installed correctly, they did not follow the design I laid out for them, most of my plants to include palms were installed crooked, most of the irrigation lines had the wrong tips on (1gph vs 4gph), a few weren't tipped so I had a few puddles, all 6 of my queen palms died because the had no water going to them, the stucco on my mailbox looks like crap you can see every brick outline. Now Leo did say he would re-plant all the dead plants as they were under warranty from the source, however when he had his guys finally bring them they planted the Sego palm in the wrong location, then the left to queen palms laying on the ground so they all died again. These palms have never been replaced, and the sego palm is still in the wrong location. They have never come to fix those nor fix the irrigation. On to rock! So I had them spread about 10-15 tons of rock, this took a few weeks for them to show up. Max (his partner) finally showed up in a skid steer and spread the rock with it, this is where I think all the drip lines got damaged. First the rock wasn't spread a I clearly gave instruction, so they had to send a crew days later to spread it by hand between the plants after the damage had already been done. Max backed the tractor into my property wall and tore down a section. This took weeks for them to repair (granted some rain). Once the wall had been replaced, a storm came through and destroyed my custom 14ft steep RV gate. This was due to them not locking the gate correctly, they simply just closed it. At first Leo was all about fixing the issue and called them "bad ass gates" he even asked for the builder because He had work for him. Well then turned back on his word and blamed it on the gates structural integrity. I have 2 of these gates and the other is doing just fine because it was secured properly. Its now May 2023 and We are still dealing with this, lack of communication, failure to stand by your word, failure to honor your warranty, gaslighting, huge let down in customer service and relations, I'm extremely disappointed in SWTP because they seem like knowledgeable and cool guys to talk to. Like I said I have every conversation saved with pics of damages at the time that I'm more than willing to share in case they decide to challenge this post. read more
