I clearly explained the work when scheduling, and their own website specifically states they perform remodeling work. I even asked them to provide a rough estimate ahead of time and they never did. At 7:40 a.m.--roughly an hour and twenty minutes before they were supposed to arrive--I received a call saying they weren't coming because they "don't do remodel work" and that the person who scheduled me should never have taken the call. That excuse is difficult to take seriously. They had the scope of work and my appointment for several days, and their own website advertises remodeling. If they couldn't do the work, they had plenty of time to tell me instead of canceling barely an hour before arrival. They referred me to the caller's son's plumbing company, who I immediately texted and never heard back from until 2:30 pm. With my shower installation scheduled for the next day, I was left scrambling to find a plumber at the last minute and had no reasonable opportunity to compare pricing. A scheduling mistake is understandable. Waiting until the morning of a confirmed appointment to cancel with an explanation that contradicts your own website is not. Completely unprofessional. If you have time-sensitive work, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We've been using Foley's for 15 years and we always get prompt and affordable service. Our 17yr…read moreold original unit was making a loud grinding sound and I checked to see if there was any obvious obstruction and didn't see any issue. I also noticed the front of the house that this unit services was about 10 degrees warmer and more humid. We called Foley's (who replaced our previous unit for a below market medium price) and scheduled a service call the next day. They arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue as a dead capacitor. They had a new one on the truck and 10min later our unit was up and running again. They also confirmed the condition of the unit looked good, especially for its age. Like before their charge was reasonable (about 50% markup on the capacitor and limited labor charge). We've heard a lot of bad experiences from other A/C service companies so we are happy for the continued positive experiences with Foley's!

They were honest and upstanding and I recommended them to EVERYONE. That Angel Air is GONE. The last 3 years in a row we were on a contract, and every single time they came by to service our units, something would break the next day. I let it go the first and second time, thinking maybe it was just a fluke. Then we had them inspect a unit in a house we were looking at buying. After the inspection the AC at THAT house also broke. We found that the tech had TAPED the sides back on the air control box instead of using the screws, and the tape had come off, causing the side to fall into the attic and the AC to stop working. This was the final straw and we cancelled the annual service. They have shoddy workmanship, and they do not stand behind it. Finally, a capacitor failed on my fan motor. I checked the invoices and they had replaced it exactly one year prior, so it was still under warranty. I was already done working with them because of the previous poor service, but realizing that this SHOULD be a free replacement for a part under warranty, I gave them one final call. They flat out refused to come look at the part without charging me for a full service call. They refused all offers of me bringing them the failed part to swap for a working one. Everything that used to make this company a 5 star business is gone. They are greedy, corrupt, miserly, and they do not stand behind their parts or service. As a former long term customer, I urge you to avoid them at all costs.
