March 27, 2024 Mtn Fresh installed a water softener, when we met with the sales person, he told us that this unit would be installed with two bags of salt, and that we would have to put one big in every two months. This is not true, after a month, I added a bag, and now it is low again, but I will try to watch close, and add at the first of the month. I use the lst to check, along with my furnace filter, etc... I feel like I was sold a bill of goods, as I was interested in a whole house water system (salt free), but was advised they didn't sell them, besides this was the best one going. I have directed several customers to this business, and I know they purchased various products, I did this because I have found them to be very honest and trustworthy, until now. From Glenn answering the phone and getting the ball rolling to Frank digging in (literally) and sticking with it till the job is done, every aspect of my issue was handled with professionalism, courteous promptness, and expertise. The long and....well, even clean when the job was done version: Normally I try to have at least a little humor in my reviews, however, there is nothing funny about the excellent, prompt, and workman like service you will receive from Mountain Fresh. Although how much more expensive and hard to deal with all the other companies I contacted were is laughable. These guys are on point and not only have great rates but great service. I requested a quote on Yelp and Glen got back to me within minutes and provided his cell phone so I could text him photos of the issue. Same as the ones attached here. I was pretty sure I had a broken main water line. I then followed up with a phone call and Glen took care of me right away and quoted out extremely reasonable rates. He sent my contact info to his field guy (Frank) right away and let me know that it might be a few minutes, as expected when you think about it, as Frank might have his head under a sink. Frank was amazing. Not only did he instill me with confidence in his knowledge and expertise but he really went the extra mile. He squeezed me in late in the day and even hoofed it over to the westside after his last call in Chandler. Then even after needing to run for materials stuck with it till after dark. After digging down he confirmed that indeed my main was cracked. Roots from my tree were reeking havoc on my pipes. Some pics attached. When finished he filled it in and even re-spread my rock. Then, even after that, at nearly 9pm at night he took the time to put some booties on to cover up his work boots and come in and answer all my questions about home water filtration, osmosis, and softeners. Glen is going to follow up with me. I tell you what....I will not be using any other company other than Mountain Fresh for my water needs, problems, and plumbing. I am so happy to have found such a great company to service me even all the way out in Estrella Mountain Ranch. Oh, Most importantly!!! We went to a home show on 2020 looking for a new RO & whole house water treatment system. After checking are options we came to a decision based on the info provided that the company offered the best choice. Most RO's have ratios of water used to make gallon that are to wasteful. The Pinnacle PH plus has a 1 to 1 throw plus you add the useful minerals back in the water made. Also we opted for the Pinnacle whole house water softening system. After 3 years we are extremely happy with the system & the people at Mountain fresh. You should definitely consider them for all your house water needs. FYI they also put in a outside hose bib to use the soft water to wash your car. This means no hard water spots ruining your cars paint. We purchased our home several months ago and knew that we wanted to get a water softener and reverse osmosis system installed before we starting using our appliances. Talked to several companies about my needs. I have really sensitive skin and the water in Gilbert tears me up. I not only need water softening, I need the chemicals in the water like chlorine to be blocked. After talking to Glenn with Mountain Fresh I knew I was on to something since other companies would not talk about their exact setup, or they would try to trash the other companies while selling a pricey system from a company that has a spotty track record. Glenn who owns Mountain Fresh didn't bite when I told him what other companies said about him. He showed me different types of tanks they have at several price points depending on what you need, all reasonable. I ended up going with a two tank system in the Pinnacle line. One tank filters out the chemicals and the 2nd one does the water softening. I can't tell you how much this instantly changed my family's life. We even went ahead and got the RO system for cooking and drinking water. We went the the 8-9 pH alkaline membrane because we had been buying that kind of water from Water and Ice. My showers are cleaner, dishes are cleaner, clothes are softer and cleaner, and OMG my skin is completely in better condition and doesn't burn/itch when I get out of the shower. I had no idea how bad the water was on my skin was until I started showering in clean water. I have researched that whole home water filtration systems (with softening and chemical filtering) runs $4000-6000 and I assure you I paid on the low end. If you just need water softening you can get in at 1/4 of that but I damn sure feel like I got my money's worth going with the two tank system and getting the RO installed. One last thing. After other companies said I would have to have my tanks outside or run pipes under my sidewalk or driveway because of where my main water pop up was, they were able to tap in to the main water intake from the attic and drop down into my garage where I wanted my tanks. All of it was installed within 3 hours and the most professional plumbers you can hope to have did the instally.
