I recently visited Souvlaki Fast in Royal Palm, and I was thoroughly impressed! The service was incredibly fast and friendly, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious--everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a full meal, this place is a fantastic choice. I'll definitely be coming back for more! Only thing that surprised me is that they don't sell lamb souvlaki given that is a big part of Greek food and their name means skewers. Must not be their specialty but believe you can get chicken or beef didn't try my super food is lamb blame Viome.

First visit to this restaurant. It is located in a strip plaza with close, ample parking. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly cashier and two other employees preparing the food. You can view the cooking area which was exceptionally clean. There is a small area with tables and chairs for the dine- in option. I ordered the salmon gyro, traditional meat/lamb gyro and a one of a kind cheesecake baklava for take out. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on for a gyro. The food was fresh and delivered fairly quickly during a semi lunch rush. It was hot and traveled well to eat at home. I was glad to have discovered this place and will definitely return for my next gyro craving. The prices were appropriate for the size of the meal. They offer reduced pricing on certain days for their specials and a rewards program. Make sure to check that out for additional savings.

Love greek food and this place was delish! tuesdays and fridays they have a $6.99 Gyro Special all day, and we took advantage. Bought the whole family and Gyro. The portions of the gyros are large and the toppings are refreshing. We added sides of fries and they were good crinkle fries. Small place and probably better to eat out but good for a quick stop. The service was average at best but it got the job done.

Thursday, 6/13/2024, Approx 7:00pm EST: I went to pick up an order and was given two bags, one that was properly tied and the other had 2 containers of food. The bag with two containers of food was not tied tight enough that when I walked to my car it unravelled and dropped to the ground causing the top container to spill all the chicken out. I took the bag back to the restaurant and told the girl working the register what happened. She says something about there's still food in the container as if it was okay that food had fallen out. I told her and pointed towards the chicken sitting on the ground outside by my car. She told the girl who may be a supervisor about the issue. This so-called supervisor started debating with me that she double-tied the bags and that it shouldn't have fallen. I told her again that the bag untied while I was holding it by the loose knot she tied. She then tells me if this happens again they won't be able to fix this order. ITS STUPID 3OZ CHICKEN IF THAT MUCH!!!!!! She would rather be right than fix the stupid problem! I didn't go back into the restaurant to blame her, I went back in thinking she was professional enough to just fix the problem! People like this shouldn't be working with the public. Another thing that made the entire situation more unbearable was people inside the restaurant eating and watching this whole showcase happen. IT'S EMBARRASSING!!!! AND OF COURSE THE BLACK GIRL GETS THE BLAME! I went back to take a picture of the chicken that was left on the ground after her poor effort to tie the damn bag correctly the first time. The attached picture was taken a little later and shows the chicken had been crushed by moving cars. I usually love picking orders from this location but now I'm going to be on guard of potential unprofessional wanna-be managers.

Ordered 50/50 gyro which was good but was lacking tzatziki. The souvlaki platter and lemon potatoes were good as well. Giving this review 3 stars because I was shocked at the quality of falafel. You can get bigger falafels from the freezer aisle at the supermarket & they were also burnt. Not sure if this is a vegetarian friendly restaurant if these are the falafels being served. If you see a woman making your gyros, you're in for a treat! I didn't get her name but omg these were the BEST gyros we've ever had there! They've been okay other times-- needed more of their dressing. She definitely made them NICE. Plenty of dressing, tzatziki... flavor-- YUM! 5 stars to the chef and the lovely woman that always takes our order keep up the great work! read more

Ohhh boy!!! Where do I start... Let me start by saying I really love the small businesses that just nail an order. This one sadly doesn't make the cut. Tried it based on reviews but we were disappointed There's plenty of parking right out front. They do offer inside tables or take out. Ok so we ordered Ribeye platter Cooked Medium and I agree with Barbara J's review lol but seriously Meat was horrible & dried out Salad & fries were ok We couldn't eat the meat We ordered a side of Falafel The outside of the falafel was well done but the inside was basically on the raw side & baklava was not moist & gouie kinda dried Service was on the quick side but resulted in a bad outcome Inside was appeared to be ok until I looked closer & noticed ants marching along the back of the soda fountain. Sadly we already ordered but we will not recommend or return My pictures don't lie so personally Great Greek wins again read more

The Good - The food is delicious! No question! Really good food! We order online and use UberEats for delivery. The Bad - on two of our 3 orders they forgot the baklava! They charge us for it but we don't get the dessert. Ubereats was good enough to give us a credit toward our next order but not this time. And at almost $$5.00 we feel cheated! I don't get it! Why can't they fill the order?? Since we can't depend on getting the food we order we'll probably end up going somewhere else! It's a shame the food is so good! read more

My guest enjoyed her gyro. I ordered beef souvlaki and a chain saw could not have cut the meat. The salad was fine as were the Greek fries. The staff was pleasant. Some of the bench seats were badly ripped but the restroom was very clean and nicely equipped. MI have never been a fan of this place, but my family and friends enjoy it so we go frequently. It is almost always busy, so I'm sure my opinion is a minority one. I like Gyromania and the GreatGreek much better. My favorite is Chris's Taverna but that's a whole other price point and a different kind of venue. Souvlaki Grill is clean and organized and the food is fresh, just bland. Avoid the beef souvlaki and you should be fine. read more

We found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Delivery was fast and the food looked better than the pictures. Greek salad, two gyros, dolmades (best I can remember) and baklava cheese cake was our order. We ate it for dinner and then for breakfast and then again for lunch #leftoversfordays Real 5 stars, don't sleep on Siulvaki Fast! read more

On Friday night it's pretty busy but we were able to order and find a seat. The restaurant is very small maybe 20 seats. I ordered the Gyro and the french fries which come with feta cheese all over them. You order your food at the counter and they take your name, first name only. Somehow they called out my name and another person with the same name came up and picked up our order. I knew it was mine but I didn't want to be confrontational and he took away the order sat down and began to eat it. Then they called my name again and when I walked to the counter I was sure it was not our order. Anyway about 10 minutes later they had remade my order and brought it out to me and apologized for the mix up. As a returning customer once again I was not disappointed. The facility was clean and well displayed. The staff was courteous and friendly and the food was freshly prepared and plentiful! Favorite Greek food fast! We have tried others but nothing beats the price, quantity or flavor. My favorite is the souvlaki platter with the gyro meet, salad, and lemon potatoes. I don't even have a favorite location, I've been to the one in Royal Palm (love that one) and the one at the outlet mall in West Palm, Palm Beach Gardens on Northlake, and Boynton. read more

Never knew how much I loved gyros until I tried Souvlaki Fast! Their Tuesday and Friday special is a great deal. The gyros always come loaded with meat so even without a special, you're still getting a lot for your money. Great for takeout-orders are ready quick and are always accurate. read more

Ordered delivery. I ordered a side of Greek salad with my shrimp side and they added it to the lamb dish. I can not eat meat. Why would anyone add a side to an entree container!? We tossed the entire salad The shrimp seems to be cooked on the grill with meat. Tasted gross couldn't eat it. Also why not describe pita comes with the sides? We paid for pita thinking we had to order but everything came with. What a total waste of our money this place was Did not enjoy our dinner whatsoever. I won't order from here again read more

The food was fast and the ingredients were fresh! I had the gyro pita with the chocolate baklava. The chocolate baklava was great even though I originally came in for the regular cheesecake. The service was great the lady at the counter was really helpful and explained anything I had questions about! If you're looking for a quick Greek bite this is the place. read more

The name said it all! Fast food Greek! We grabbed a couple of beef gyros and a hummus. Served right up and reasonably priced. Gyro might have been a tad salty and hummus was different but good. Very generous servings. Looking forward to trying more! read more

It was founded by owner Christos "Chris" Charoudis, the restaurant's menu is largely inspired by traditional family recipes. Chris's mother, Eleni, personally quality-controlled the dishes to ensure authenticity. This is the original restaurant, at the corner of Lantana Rd. & Jog, a second is on Congress, They have expanded & during covid outdoor dining in the parking lot was created. There is a free parking in front along with a steady stream of pick up traffic. The menu offers extensive Greek dishes with servers being very quick & efficient. Portions at Chris' Taverna are enormous. One plate is enough for more than enough for 2 of us to share. The restaurant is casual, reservations are not accepted, it's first come & first serve. Tonight six of us met here for dinner. We arrived before 6:00 and waited only a few minutes for a table. When we left there was a line outside. When we were seated we were given water & a garlic spread with warm fresh pita. We all shared babaganosh & generous delicious dips. My husband & I shared a gyro salad with lots of grilled lamb, more than enough for us both. Others enjoyed greek chicken salad, shrimp with pasta, and spanakopita. Every bite felt fresh and well-seasoned. To be honest, I did use the tzatziki and salad dressing instead of the provided salad dressing. And the gyro wrap with garlic fries? Easily one of the best gyros I've had in a while. The meat was flavorful and tender, the wrap was perfectly put together, and those garlic fries were the ideal salty, crispy side. This spot is definitely getting added to the pool day lunch rotation.

The pasticchio is the Greek version of lasagna but with elbow macaroni. Both portions were quite filling. I ate my dish and he brought half of his home. He was saving room for dessert. For dessert, he had galaktoboureko which is a custard filled pastry topped with simple syrup. He said it was good, but it would have been better if warmed. Or at least if the syrup was warm. We had very good service. If you like Greek food and are in the area, this is a good place to try. Large portions at reasonable prices.

My work colleagues and I were greeted by a friendly host and sat at a table. But everything from service went down hill from there when our actual table server arrived. We were immediately greeted with "You ready", with a frowned face. We asked for water with lemon (never received) and was later served water from a pitcher (without lemons) only later to see an adjacent table served water from a picture with lemon and orange slices. Didn't make much of that. But when our waiter returned to take our order the second time, again with the same "you ready" frown faced I asked for help with the menu. I could hear her sigh so loud I wanted not to believe the feeling that we were bothering her in some way; and there was maybe only a quarter of the tables with customers. After placing our orders I asked my colleagues if they were getting the same vibe as I was from her and they both felt the same way. From my seating angle I could see this young lady server when she approached the front bar/seating area of the restaurant; which appeared to be where the other waiters all gathered when waiting. But I noticed her smiling and engaging in friendly conversation with two customers sitting at the bar. I noticed this difference from how she treated us vs these other guest throughout the entire time. With them she was smiling, engaging and not in any flirtatious way, but seemingly just being nice....being a good waiter. Clearly she was choosing NOT to be nice to us, and this bothered me internally because I did not know why. Our friendly greeter from when we arrived was seen serving another table and whose behavior was consistently friendly with everyone. So why the difference with our waiter I kept asking myself. I still gave a generous tip despite this service. It was important to me to do so, but I probably won't be back here, and this would have been a nice place to go back to with mi amor.

This place is not fast at all. I made a order of two gyros and I've waited 30 mins. Beware if your coming in for lunch break because I was here during lunch and everyone looked upset. The food has been changing for the worse, not that it was that great to begin with but it's better than the food in this under-populated area, although, you're not hungry anymore by the time you get your food.
