I FINALLY FOUND THE NEW LOCATION! I love this restaurant. I've been eating from them for years. They used to be located on Federal Highway in Boca Raton. They are located in a petite suite by the office depot on glades. The address is 129 NW 13th Street suite #24, Boca Raton, FL. The food is still soooooooo good. I'm so happy that they stayed alive through the pandemic. I got to talk to the owner (fabi) for a little bit, who remembers me, super nice guy! I'm just so glad they are still around. The restaurant is smaller than it used to be, but I don't worry about that. The owner puts love in his food, is loyal to his community, and makes you feel special. These are the things I look for in a quality restaurant. Please support this mom and pop Chick 'n Chop. It's definitely worth it. I'll be back. I have been eating middle eastern food my whole life but did not think the kibbeh was gonna be so dry which is unique ...but upon further examination you can dip it into hummus and it will be just fine. Before I went I made a direct comparison in my mind to a fast food chain that serves Caribbean/Spanish style food but that is where the comparison ends. I ordered something very simple but with so much flavor. The entree comes with a sauce of choice-chimichurri was my pick and was NOT disappointed. Its a very small shop in commercial area, but it was so easy to find and love the decor both inside and out. Made it hard to miss and on a nice day, the patio would have been a perfect place to sit. When I find someplace local making better food than the more known places do, its impossible to go back. The price for lunch was probably the same had I gone elsewhere but would not have gotten real food that tastes more like homemade than produced. read more

Talk about delicious chicken! I don't eat red meat so I'm constantly on the search for something chicken or fish-based. I've been to Chick 'n Chop in the past at their previous location and always liked the food. Ever since they've relocated, the food is even better now! With a variety of options, I've tried several things on the menu. Any form of their grilled chicken is always my go-to, but the yellow rice and roasted potatoes are my favorite side dishes. Even if something isn't to my liking, the owner always makes sure to help me find something I will enjoy. I've also used Chick 'n Chop to cater for a large group and the presentation of the food, even in a large quantity, was superb. If you're looking for a great tasting spot, definitely check out them out. They've easily become one of my new favorite lunch spots! Got here at 5:50 and says open till 8:30. Walked up to the door and open sign is lit up. Surprise surprise no one is inside and the door is locked. If you are going to own a restaurant and have hours online, stick to those hours. No one should have to drive to get food and have no luck because ur workers lock the door. I just got delivery less then 20min ago. The chicken pita wrap was the worst wrap I've ever had. And the sweet potato fries were floppy and greasy. This is the worst food yet I've had here. If i was managing this place I'd want to know. Then I called for a manager, and there was not one available (for two hours) , just to tell them to watch the delivery quality of there food. That's what I was told at least. I don't complain much. But this was bad. And ratings are everything. Gotta bring up the food quality. read more

Just. Don't. This restaurant had 1 job and that's to make the food good. How are they still opened?! I got red beans and they were COLD and Tasteless ! We had a wonderful experience with this small, family-run hidden gem. The Grill 'n Chop chicken dishes were tasty, well-portioned, fresh meals. We had the Cancun and the Latin....both delicious. We were really hoping for good gyros based on the reviews, but unfortunately the restaurant sent gyros with old dehydrated or burnt meat. It was hard and cold. We also did not received what we ordered, the restaurant never bothered to call to ask if a replacement was OK, they just took the money, which in my book is just wrong. I ordered online and the food was really delicious. I got a Kibeh platter and the kibeh arrived warm still and were super good! I also got a falafel pita and was good but came missing the fries. I ordered here for the first time tonight using DoorDash and I must say I am extremely disappointed. The photo on DoorDash shows the half chicken as being a half rotisserie type chicken. Instead I received dry cut up pieces of chicken breast with a terrible seasoning on it. I ordered sweet potato casserole and received a tiny over cooked sweet potato. I ordered flan and received some cookies that seemed as if they just came out of the freezer. I called the restaurant and they admitted that they knew what they did and blamed everything on DoorDash. All they had to do was cancel the order if I had ordered things that they did not have. The manager told me to call him back tomorrow and he would work something out for me... Well I'm having surgery tomorrow so tough luck for me because DoorDash blamed the restaurant and refused to do anything for me. Beware! read more

I ordered through Uber eats and got the kibbeh platter which comes with hummus, a garden salad, feta cheese and pita. I also asked for garlic sauce on the side as I usually love Mediterranean garlic sauce. First mistake. As a lover of garlic (I put it in just about everything) I've never complained about too much garlic. This sauce, however, was not edible. I could barely breathe after just a tiny taste to test whether I'd like it or not. This wouldn't have been a huge deal because I could simply not use the sauce, except, pictured below is how they chose to plate my salad, hummus and sauce. That's right, no container with a lid for the sauce which arrived completely mixed with the hummus and on about half of my salad, making it impossible to eat most of my meal. Also, there was no feta cheese though the description said it was included. Just a mess. I then tried the kibbeh and at first was disappointed to see this platter only brings two pieces, however, after trying it, I struggled to even finish one. The texture was OK, but the meat inside definitely tasted sour or like vinegar. Unlike any kibbeh I've ever had before, and not in a good way. I would not recommend this place. read more
