Today I treated my mom here for her birthday since it's one of our favorite Greek restaurants, and it reminded me why we keep coming back. I usually order the gyro platter with the lemon potatoes, and they're ALWAYS a hit. Seriously... if you go, get the lemon potatoes. This time, though, I was craving a traditional gyro pita, and omg it was so good! They absolutely loaded it up, it was HUGE, the meat was juicy as always, and every bite was delicious. My dad always orders the chicken platter, and he loves it every single time. The fresh Greek salad that comes with the platter is always so crisp and delicious, and the tzatziki is so fresh, creamy, and flavorful. You really can't go wrong with anything here. And of course, we can never leave without getting the baklava cheesecake. It's honestly one of my favorite desserts ever! As a sweet surprise, the owner also gave us a complimentary baklava, which was such a kind and generous gesture. This place has that authentic mom-and-pop feel, amazing food, and genuinely friendly service that keeps us coming back. I'd recommend it every single time--10/10! I've eaten here and ordered out multiple times. I thought I had left a review and surprisingly I hadn't. Last night I had the Mediterranean Power Bowl with a Chicken Souvlaki skewer. It was FANTASTIC! So fresh, light, and delicious! Perfect amounts of spinach, tomatoes, olives, feta, red onions, cucumbers, hummus (that was AMAZING), and chicken! In the past we've had the gyro platter and the moussaka. Also delectable! Next time I will post pictures. The service is great! At the restaurant the team is friendly and accommodating. When you pick up to go, your order is packaged well and ready at the time they say. Its small but has tables both inside and out. Decorated with Greek flair and Greek music playing at a low volume. Came in after an appointment in the area I was so welcomed it was incredible! I was taking out as I planned to take it home. I ordered the gyro bowl. I couldn't have chosen better!! Unbelievable amount of gyro meat tomatoes, cucumber and tzatziki!! And the pita bread under the gyro meat. Got home and it ended up being 3 meals!!! It was delicious and perfect!!!! I decided to try this place after seeing its 4-star reviews, and I was impressed by the presentation and how well they packed my to-go order. Everything looked fresh and thoughtfully prepared! That said, the chicken souvlaki was a bit of a letdown for me. While it had a nice grilled flavor, the meat was on the dry side and didn't quite have that traditional Greek seasoning I look forward to. The tzatziki was fresh, though it could use a bit more garlic to bring out the flavor, and the salad dressing left me curious--I wasn't entirely sure what flavors they were going for there. Overall, the restaurant has a lot of positives and might be a good choice for someone looking for a lighter take on Greek food. This local restaurant is located in the corner of a strip mall next to the Publix. It's a Greek owned restaurant with lots of Greek scenic pictures on the walls. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table when ready. The hummus and pita were delicious. The gyro meals were also very good. The chicken souvlaki was overcooked in certain places and the platters are huge and can definitely be shared. Staff were friendly and overall we'll be back to try a few of the other items on the menu. read more

We were looking for a place near my mother in law's and we decided to give them a try. My husband had picked up take out once before but we have never eaten in. They have a few tables that are pretty close together so you can dine in. You order at the register & grab your own drinks and then they bring you the food. The service was...meh. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't welcoming. I had the shrimp salvaki pita. The small sized shrimp were hidden under the lettuce, tomato and poorly cut onions. There was tzatziki and a greek dressing on the pita which complemented each other. The pita was very soft and as much as I didn't want to finish it I finished every bite. I got the combo which came with fries (very good and stayed hot) and a canned soda. All in all, it is what it is. It's fast food Greek, but spectacular, but not amazing. There are about 8 tables for 4 people each, so that part is fine. The music was very loud so that was a bit distracting. The decor is colorful and Greek scenes and signs are all over. The food arrived from a server and was very nicely plated. My souvlaki platter had 2 skewers of chicken, yellow rice, Greek salad, a pita and 2 sauces. One was tzatziki and the other a delicious Greek salad dressing. The taste was delicious and proper temperature. There was too much for me to finish so I had to ask for a box. It's so full and has the perfect ratio of meat to veggies and sauce. The sauce is lick your fingers good and they serve generous fries. The service is quick and they are friendly. We felt like a bit of Greek food, found Souvlaki Street on Yelp, and decided to try it out. When we walked in, it was obvious that this place did far more business in take-out than eat-in. Nonetheless, we read the menu, displayed on two huge flat-screens, and gave our order. My wife ordered Spanakopita for appetizer, and I ordered "Feisty Feta," having no idea what it was. Her spanakopita came fresh out of the oven, steaming hot, and delicious. The Feisty Feta was a spiced up feta dip, served with 8 huge pita wedges. Had we known the apps were going to be this big, we may have decided to split an entree...but funny enough, we were able to finish everything! My wife has Grilled Shrimp Souvlaki - 14 plump shrimp on skewers, served with salad and yellow rice. I had Lamb Bifteki - ground seasond lamb, simalrly served with rice and salad. Both were incredibly good and satisfying. We did share something - a baklava, which was crispy on top, chewy in the middle, and honey-soaked on the bottom. This family-run operation was a marvel to watch, as order after order was expertly prepared and boxed or served. They had a table expressly for delivery services, that was constantly being filled and emptied. My hat goes off to Souvlaki Street, the epitome of local business. We'll definitely be back! read more

One word: underwhelming. I ordered a falafel pita with spicy fries, and the other members of my group ordered the gyro platter and lemon chicken. The falafel was really bland and soggy, and the tahini sauce was so flavorless that I genuinely thought they forgot to add it at first. I tried a bit of my group's orders as well, and it was more of the same. The gyro meat was okay but nothing special, and the chicken was very one-note in flavor and kind of soggy. The best part of the order was the spicy fries - no complaints about those. It smelled really good and the portions were quite large, but sadly the food just did not deliver. Additionally, not a single staff member was wearing a mask, including the chef. Considering that we're in the middle of a pandemic, this alone is enough to make me not want to return. I got the gyro which is lamb and beef meat on a skewer; they shave it off. I had salad, hummus, buffalo feta cheese, regular feta cheese, beets, stuffed grape leaves, pickled peppers, spicy red sauce, and tzatziki. They added fresh pita too but I didn't eat it (low carb diet). The salad was large and fulfilling. I actually finished the whole thing and was very content!
