Was at another establishment at the same small plaza & saw many people coming in and out of the spot next door. When I looked it was Plantation Pita & Grill. I made a note that I had to come try this place. I was in the area one day and decided to give them a try. After reading the reviews decided on the Shawarma pita. It's a must! So fresh and delicious! I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this shawarma. The shawarma was juicy well seasoned rotisserie turkey stuffed in a fluffy but sturdy pita. They have an array of fresh toppings and salads to add to your pita. The place is bright and clean with about 6-8 tables. The service was polite. It's in a small shopping strip with ample parking for the size. If you're in the area I'd definitely suggest trying their shawarma. read more

I wish there was another like this near where I live but I was unable to convince the owners to open another more north! . I happened to b in the area & found Plantation pita & grill on Yelp. I ordered a dish but unfortunately they were out of eggs, just like the rest of us! I then ordered a felafel salad where I was able to choose what I wanted in the salad. It was delicious! The felafel was moist & not dried out like @a lot of other places. It was my fav felafel, green, using parsley, etc & I haven't had it that good since my last trip to Israel! There are several aspects to a great restaurant. 1. Great customer service- Before I placed my order I listened as the owner spoke to the customers ahead of me. It was their first time at the restaurant and he was so delighted to introduce them to his culture and food. He gave them several samples of various sides to encourage them to try something new. When it was my turn I received the same experience and education on the various cultural foods. He was one the most genuine people I have encountered in the restaurant industry, super personable. 2. The food: The food was superb. I ordered the Kebab pita and since it was my first time I asked the owner to make it his way. It was stuffed was humus, onions, red cabbage salad, and the heavenly tomato Turkish salad. The hand cut fries with house fries is a must. If ever you're unsure what to order just tell the owner and he will provide you with a cultural tasting that'll offer you some insight. As left the restaurant I said to my mom "what a nice guy" a family dine-in overheard and agreed. Fresh and flavorful Mediterranean food! I stopped by yesterday to pick up a turkey shawarma pita due to raving reviews from a friend and I certainly was NOT disappointed! The pita was so soft and light, the shawarma was incredibly flavorful, and all the sauces were delicious. I stuffed my pita with hummus, hot sauce, tahini, purple cabbage, and a semi sweet tomato sauce- all fabulous. The pita was packed and still not really messy, which is a huge plus for me! I believe the owner and/or manager was the sole employee present but he was extremely helpful and kind! He even threw in French fries on the house with their homemade sauce on top. Incredibly good falafel here! I want to agree that I saw covid protocol violations (this time from a client not from the cook) but I base my review on food quality and service regardless. They sell a peanut brittle type dessert that is individually wrapped and that I found so good. It's authentic and attracts a large Jewish clientele. I would recommend the platters because they come with so many sides in one offering. Menu is full of goodies. Pita bread was fun fluff and so good. Hummus was creamy smooth. The restaurant is just west of Pine Island on Clearly. Portion sizes are pretty big here, prices are not. I will return without a doubt. read more

We just got back from dinner at Chill and Grill and it was such a great experience! (It was our first time there.) Tucked away near Central Park on Cleary, it's a neighborhood gem. The gentlemen working there were so kind and explained the different options to me because I'm not super familiar with all the menu items like my boyfriend is. I had a salad plate and everything I tried was delicious. Best falafel I've ever had. He had a schnitzel pita and said it was great. We had take out. Jerusalem Mix, Shwarhma and Falafel. All three dishes were delicious. The pita is home made and the texture is ligher than most pita, just wonderful. Portion size is excellent and we got extra pita a very nice gesture. The tahini and the hummus are creamy and beautifully prepared. We even ate all three dishes the next day and everything was delicious when we reheated. All the salads were just as good the second day. The prices are fair. There is plenty of parking. Looking forward to eating in when the COVID-19 is over. read more

First time in this establishment today. I have limited familiarity with Mediterranean cuisine but always willing to try new food. The owner (I presume the owner) was welcoming as soon as I stepped in the door. He kindly explained the few dishes I was considering and even allowed me try a small sample of two prepared items I was unfamiliar with. He was committed to ensuring I understood how the food was prepared, what I was getting and that I would like it. I ordered the beef shish-kebab in a pita to go. That was the best filled pita I have ever had. The beef was juicy, properly flavored and tender. The suggested toppings were great compliments. The pita bread alone was something I bragged to my husband about- soft, fluffy and lightly seasoned. I've been cutting carbs and that pita will be an exception. There is also a small side salad bar to sample while you wait for your meal to be prepared and you won't be disappointed. The young man that cashed me out was kind and professional.
