At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with silky smooth legs.

When the treatment was ineffective, my daughter was made to feel as though it was her fault, which is completely unacceptable--especially when working with a minor. There was no clear plan of care, no accountability for poor results, and the equipment used does not appear to be state-of-the-art. Rather than adjusting the approach, responsibility was shifted to the client. I would walk around with a full beard before I ever give this woman another penny of my money.

Nonetheless, I called and she was very nice about it and instructed me to go to her new location. Both her old location and new location are in Rockville. Her new location isn't in the best spot because it is hard to find parking - I kept seeing signs for "reserved" or "permit only". I ended up parking two blocks away and then walking over. Unfortunately, i missed my appointment timeslot completely because she had a client right after me, but she was so nice about situation and fit me in as soon as she found free time to. Nita is very friendly, kind, and personable. She is so sweet. She did such an amazing and efficient job. She was informative, quick, and does her best to make you feel comfortable. The waiting room is clean and cozy and there are snacks left out. I have gotten waxed at other great places before and Nita is by far my favorite thus far. After the sugaring, she asked if she could do touch ups and pluck leftover hairs with tweezers; I truly appreciate her attention to detail and how thoughtful she was. My dad got the runners pedicure which is good for men. He had a lot of dead skin removed. My mom and I got the mango scrub pedicure. The massage chairs were comfortable. Water was comfortable and it was the full hour treatment. They were busy so my mom got started 30 minutes later than my dad and I which was less ideal. The other thing I didn't like was the foot/leg massage. It was hardly a massage - no pressure applied at all. They did set a 10 minute timer to give us the full time. Regardless, the ladies were really nice and did a good job painting. Would come back!

Things I Did Not Enjoy: - She started a 5 min timer (for my pedicure massage) and made sure to tell me she was starting a timer, but then proceeded to do something else for a solid 30 seconds. I wouldn't have been counting the minutes, but if you're going to put a timer on, then please don't try to skim the customer. - She didn't file any of my toes of fingers, so although I asked for square, some of my nails were square and some rounded. - She was a tad condescending and kept telling me how I had no toe nails for a thick French style- If there was no nail, why did you charge me $50? - I was undecided between a gel manicure or dip powder but I told her I'm rough with my hands and she said gel would last 2-3 weeks for me. The photo I'm attaching is literally 24 hours later. - She tried to upsell me with a pedicure and tell me a gel pedicure was "only $16" more and I kept telling her no thank you. I really wanted to love this place but I'm pretty upset I shelled out $130 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure and I could've done a better job.
