A friend and I met in New Orleans from opposite U.S. coasts. We found Spa Aria on yelp and were not disappointed. Everyone there was welcoming and professional. Bridget and Trudy provided some of the best massages we've ever experienced. We also had facials and had our nails done. After 1 week, my nails still looked newly painted. The spa itself is in a small space and I had wished for massaging shower heads to complete the experience. The great staff and unforgettable massages definitely make up for that. I would definitely go back to Spa Aria if I return to New Orleans...and recommend that you try it out too. read more

I got a facial called at 10:00 am on a Saturday and they were able to take me the same day. They validate downtown parking... which is always awesome. I had the customized facial with Trudy. It was an amazing facial with extractions. She made a lot of really good suggestions, used great products, and had a lot of helpful advice. I would recommend this place. Price was extremely reasonable. $90 dollars for 60 minute facial with 10% off for being a local. Can't ask for more. read more

Went to Spa Aria for the 85-90 min intensive massage after working a convention booth for two days. The massage from Camy was excellent--every bit as good as those I have had at Four Seasons or similar resorts. There is not a waiting/relaxing area for before or after treatments, but, for the price of their services that did not bother me. The ambience and staff were top-notch. Great experience! read more

My husband and I booked a couples massage on our weekend getaway to the Big Easy. We both agreed it was one of the best massages either of us had ever had. I usually hate massages - I'm weird about being touched by total strangers and am annoyed when the masseuse makes it her personal mission to work out the knots I've had in my shoulders for years. I wind up feeling like I've just spend $100 to feel awkward and wince for an hour. NOT at Spa Aria. We felt right at home in this unpretentious, well-appointed, and friendly place. The prices were fair, and we were pleasantly surprised by a mimosa and locally made caramel after our massage. I would definitely recommend Spa Aria. read more

Seriously disappointing. My fiancé and I got into NOLA for a relaxing romantic weekend. We booked the honeymoon package. We were expecting a calming private experience, we were given robes and were sat in a waiting area that was right by the nail salon. We were sharing a couch with women waiting to get their nails done, this was not exclusive and rather embarrassing to be in our robes. For our couples massage my massage therapist was sick, stating she had "allergies". She was coughing and sniffling, wiping her nose all throughout my massage. After our massage, we were sat back in the waiting room in our robes with other customers. Our package came with champagne and strawberries, which we had one strawberry each and a glass of champagne IN THE WAITING AREA! How romantic when you feel uncomfortable and are sharing your experience with other people dressed ! Did I mention we each got 1 strawberry, not that I really wanted more, but it just seemed very cheap. The nail experience was decent, but overall.. This was not worth the money. They asked about our experience and discounted us 20 dollars! Subpar service I will never go back. read more

This cozy spa located on the second floor of the stunning Hotel Monteleone is just perfect. It is not a large spa by any means. No sauna, pool, etc BUT the staff here is just so incredible, down to earth and loving. I honestly have never felt so comfortable and relaxed at spa-- i know this sounds funny! But the staff really made me feel at home and because of this, I was able to fully take in everything they had to offer. Go on Sundays for the best most through and pampering pedicure. WOW. I go to ALOT of salon and spas and Spa Aria ranks at the top. I booked the "Full Monty" which is a massage, a facial and a mani pedi. The facial was first which was fantastic! Trudy did an amazing job customizing my facial to my specific needs. She listened to everything I had to say about my skin and gave an incredible facial complete with a relaxing massage. The product line they use is truly top notch. The use of essential oils thru out the whole spa is another plus for me. Amy gave a great full body massage, very relaxing! I spent the afternoon with Ellen doing my mani pedi and it was perfection. Ive become so accustom to doing my own nails because of how picky I am. Ellens attention to detail and perfectionist take on nails was right up my ally. On top of that she is incredibly lovely to chat with and truly made the whole day! I jokingly said "I wonder if they will let me take a nap on the biomat after this".... and she made it happen. When you go to Spa Aria, do the biomat, its awesome I had it for my facial and its heaven! The staff was impeccable. Tara at the desk is so lovely. When they were out of the moisturizer i wanted they called the other location to try to get it for me. Please go immediately and treat your self! Spa Aria is truly top notch! Good customer service is hard to find these days and Spa Aria puts most of them to shame. Having worked in many salons its so nice to see a place run so well! My husband and I went into the spa without an appointment in hopes of having our feet pampered. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and accommodating! We only had to wait about 15 minutes and were given some refreshing fruit infused water. The lighting and scents in the waiting area were so perfect! Very calming atmosphere! Once we went back both of the ladies working on us were friendly and very good at their jobs. My husband had a pedicure and I had a happy feet massage. I unfortunately had a terrible sunburn on my legs when I arrived so I told the technician to only work on my feet. Once she finished, she stepped out for about 10-15 min. When she returned she was carrying a Walgreens bag. She left the hotel, walked to Walgreens and purchased aloe with her own money so that she could give me the true happy feet experience!!! Wow talk about above and beyond! I own a hair salon and also work for a prestige cosmetic company so I know the importance of excellent customer service. Bravo Spa Aria for employing such exceptional people! The next time I am in New Orleans I will be back! read more

The staff at Spa Aria was absolutely wonderful when I had my wedding in New Orleans! They really went above and beyond to accommodate my entire bridal party for manicures, and they took care of us by ordering beignets and providing some of the most delicious coffee in town! I had one of the best facials at Spa Aria! As a world traveler and frequent spa goer, I was delighted with the service I had with Trudy. She was professional, respectful and thorough. I was treated to a head, neck,shoulders arms and foot massage as well and it was blissfully relaxing and enjoyable. The only thing I didn't like about our couples massage was that after we put on our robes, we walked to the sitting area to wait for our appt. This was not a private sitting area, which made us uncomfortable....my husband more so than me....since all we had on underneather our robes was our underwear. The pedicure room was right there and was full (2 chairs). Wasn't thrilled about having to listen to their stories and have them stare at me and my husband. Other than feeling uncomfortable in the beginning, I have no complaints. Our massage therapist were wonderful. They did an excellent job. We had an hour of upper body - back, arms and head. Next time we will do 2 hours and have a full body massage. I don't mind paying for something as long as I get my moneys worth....and our massage was worth it!!! I came here with my boyfriend for a surprise spa day for our anniversary. I usually like a day spa to have all the amenities such as a steam room, pool, sauna etc, but spa aria is tucked away in hotel motelone and small. the best part was that it was just my boyfriend and I there for four hours, with great one on one service. there is a little common area but we didn't spend much time there and a seprate men and women locker with complimentary spa shoes and robe. we both had the Montelone experience with body scurbs. the scrubs were simple not much aroma, but the shower was amazing it's a 10 jet stand up shower with a rain shower head and you can shower for ever how long you would like, then it ends with a brief lotion application with a sweedish massage. my massage and facial was done by Lauren and SHE IS AMAZING, honestly I would of been content with just those two services but I just went above and beyond. my boyfriend also had a great facial and his massage was good no complaints from him. then the pedi was the best one I've had in a long time and the mani was avaerage. the paint application was not the best. in all it was a good day and it is the cheapest spa in new Orleans downtown area I searched for that could accommodate the services I wanted. next time I would try another place with all the amenities but I would also come back for a massage and facial for sure! thank you for a great day! read more

I was in town with my husband, who was there for business, and I had some time on my own. I am so pleased with the time I spent at Spa Aria! It was an excellent choice for sure. I went ahead and made an appointment for The Monteleone Experience - The Full Monty, which is a 3 1/2 hour package that includes a manicure, pedicure, custom facial, and full body massage or reflexology. Everyone there took such great care of me and I enjoyed chatting with them all. Let them know ahead of time what your needs are. If you need extra care in one area more than another don't be shy and speak up. The changing rooms are very pleasant. They even provide you with all sorts of bathroom essentials if you wish to shower after your appt. Everyone was professional and kind. I will definitely visit the town again and when I do I will return to Spa Aria. When you do go for your appt. I also encourage you to tour the Hotel Monteleone if you have the time, if you aren't already a guest there. read more
