From start to finish of every appointment has been excellent - from being greeted at the check-in desk by the staff - particularly Dhalia and Fadi - are very professional, warm and welcoming, attentive, they are all friendly but at the same time keep the line moving. I've had manicures/pedicures, mostly with the twins Barbie and Angela, hair color and cut with Kathy, Shareen, Van and Rachel - all excellent, professional, friendly and very talented. From the people who do your shampoo to the stylists- everyone is kind, caring, friendly, very professional, very talented, well practiced and well versed in the products and processes they use. Simply stated they are excellent at what they do! Spa Logic's 30 member international staff speak over 12 languages fluently - Vietnamese, Cambodian, Chinese, Arabic, Lebanese, Moroccan, Egyptian, French, Italian, Spanish, and of course, English. Spa Logic has many varied services for women men and children (hair, skin, nails, Microcurrent Facials, light therapy, microderm, lash lift, eyebrow threading, massages, skin/body scrubs, and many more). I was in town for a wedding and lookig for a place to ger my hair done, the owner was extremely friendly from the moment I walked in the door, the entire staff was super nice. The lady that styled my hair was such a pro!! she winded up also doing my make up, which was not in my plans, but turned out gorgeous along with my amazing up do!! Also winded up getting a manicure/ schellac...was very ''wowed'' on how they take such good care about you and worry about the littlest details that most salons don't even think about. Simple as putting SPF50 on my hands to protect from the UV light when you get your nails dried. They also warm a bowl of water to place underneath the acetone when you are mellting your previous schellac so your finger tips are not cold. I was on my cell phone and was low on batterie and i mentioned it to the person whom I was speaking with, and one of the staff members said'' we have a charger if you'd like'' which made my day because I needed my phone for getting back to my hotel. Everyone was so nice!! I was very tired from the trip and MIMI gave me such a great massage!! I couldnt of asked for more!! so rrelaxing, friendly and professional atmosphere!! I have been to Spa Logic twice since it opens in DuPont Circle. My hair stylist is MyLy. I first met her in Falls Church, VA 4 years ago at another salon. When she told me she had moved to Spa Logic, I switched hair salon. I have long hair. Hair stylists at other salon I went to always messed up my hair - either they cut it too short or not the right style. MyLy cut a style that goes with my face and gave me a loose curl perm like I asked for (vice a poodle-head resulted from a perm by other hair stylists!). MyLy is talented and very passionate about her profession. If you are Asian and tend to be very protective of your hair and picky of hair stylists, MyLy would not disappoint you. She's extremely nice and would consult with you about your hair before she do anything. I saw her a couple of months ago, consulted her on a slightly new style, she did a quick mock-up before she cut and perm my hair. I still receive compliments on my new hair do! The salon is very clean. Staff is very friendly. Shampoo ladies are also very nice. I will continue to go to her even though I do not live close. read more

Went in for a trim and walked out with a new identity. After watching the stylist work some magic on my friend's new do, I decided on the spot to go all out with a cut and color. First, the beautician (Kathy) took the time to discuss our options when it came to coloring my Morticia Adams' mane. We didn't have many options, to say the least. My hair was such a nightmare; remarkably thick, unruly, processed, long, and there was A LOT. I consider it a perfect storm for stylists. I really wasn't optimistic, but Kathy did an amazing job working with what was possible. When it was all over, I couldn't believe that it was my hair being reflected in the mirror in front of me. I felt transformed. Kathy took what seemed like a pretty hopeless situation and did her thing. I've never been this satisfied and impressed with a haircut. I'm only in town for a few more weeks, but I will definitely be back to Spa Logic again before heading home to Texas. Most likely, I'm going to be back over there by the end of this week to give their in-house nail salon a try, along with a few other beauty services they offer. read more

I just had the most incredible spa day at Spa Logic & DuPont Nails and Spa! If you're in the area and looking for relaxation, this place is a must-visit. I started with a Vitamin C facial that worked wonders on my skin. Alajah was thorough and friendly, and I could really feel the difference in my skin's texture afterwards. It was refreshing and left my face glowing! Then came the highlight of my day: a mixed massage that combined Swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone techniques. Wow! The therapist was phenomenal, addressing all my problem areas and leaving me feeling completely relaxed. The hot stones were a game-changer--perfect for easing those stubborn knots. Finally, I treated myself to a pedicure. The ambiance was lovely, and the nail technician took her time to ensure everything was perfect. My feet have never felt so pampered! You have to see Susan, similar to now. She's hands down the best! I've had numerous administrations with her; waxing, facials and splash tans - and yes, darker young ladies get a kick out of the chance to get bronzy, as well! I get a kick out of the chance to try and out my skin tone and have a general gleam and she conveys. Even everywhere on each and every time. She has an incredible touch with regards to facials and is extremely careful and praiseworthy with regards to tuning in to my worries. Additionally, much more critically, she has a stunning mentality and a warm soul that when matched with her range of abilities makes for a genuinely charming knowledge. You can be a 20 year veteran and have waxed from Spain to Timbuktu, however in the event that your state of mind and conveyance influence me to feel like "simply one more customer", I'll most likely stay away for the indefinite future. I received a Groupon Spa Package for Spa Logic as a gift and it is hands down one of the best spa experiences I have had in DC. I was able to schedule an appointment so easily for a Saturday afternoon. Do not let looks fool you, this place is fantastic. My Swedish massage happened upstairs on the second floor which is quiet and very relaxing. My masseur worked wonders on my back and shoulder and really spent the time to work through my tense muscles. After the massage I went upstairs to the third floor for the facial. Sadie was fantastic, she offered great advice on how to better take care of my face. The whole experience was so relaxing and I almost fell asleep. She was so kind walking me through what she was doing and making sure I was comfortable. Finally, I was taken down to the basement for my manicure and pedicure. I was able to get a gel manicure for $20 and that was great. I enjoyed a mimosa while getting my pedicure. All around this was an amazing experience. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Couldn't be happier with Thomas. He is the stylist for my entire family, even my 2 year old. Thomas has done my hair for a couple of special occasions, and I have been very satisfied each time. Being a first time mom, I watch my daughter very closely, so finding someone to give her her first haircut was a challenge. Thomas is the only one allowed around her head with scissors. He has done an excellent job each time, and her hair grows much faster after he cuts it. He has even cut my husband's hair and was able to fix it when the previous cut didn't turn out so well, by somebody else. He truly makes each experience unique and special, listening to what I want and offering suggestions for what would work for me. he makes me feel very special with a lot of individual attention when I see him. he doesn't make me feel rushed or like just another appointment. his assistant, Carlos, is also great. if you have an opportunity to have your hair done by them I would highly recommend it. read more

WORST haircut I have ever had. Vince I think his name was- didn't listen to me when I explained what I wanted. Made his first snip significantly shorter than what I asked for. And when I pointed out that I thought he was going too short he said 'oh no I know. This is what we talked about.' Even as I'm telling him that no this is not what I want. After he committed to over cutting my hair he couldn't back track then. So it all is just one length UNDER my chin straightened when I specifically said it should be below my chin when it's wavy with long layers. It's as if I went to a great clips for a 12 dollar haircut (which would have probably been better than wasting 5 times that here). It's not even long enough for me to tie it up for the next month while it grows out. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I love this place!!! I love the ability to get EVERYTHING I need done in one place - QUICKLY! I LOVE the management, the customer service and most importantly, the result. Kathy does my manicure, pedicure and she cuts my hair. She recently suggested that I try a massage and even had someone give me a "sample 5 minute massage" while I got a mani. The massage was AMAZING!!! They are very professional, reasonable priced, timely, they have convenient hours and the best customer service ever. They treat each customer as if you are their only customer. Kathy's finished product is like none other. For special occasions my spouse and I like to treat ourselves to a deep tissue or swedish massage. We used to go exclusively to fancy spas out in Maryland and Virginia but on a whim decided to try Hanson at Spa Logic, which is where we go for hair care. Since then we won't go anywhere else. Normally I prefer, and request, a female masseuse but at this point I wouldn't go to anyone but Hanson. we even give close friends gift certificates to go to him. He is phenomenal, great hands, gentle spirit and it helps that the rooms up on the 3rd floor, very spa-like. I leave there feeling like I just spent a week on vacation. 5 stars and then some. This is a FANTASTIC salon. Very comfortable, friendly vibe, and a great interior. Thomas is a mind-reader when it comes to hair. This is his third year to be voted Best in DC for a reason. He truly cares about how your hair looks--not only when you walk out the door of the salon, but on a daily basis. On numerous occasions in between visits, I have contacted him with a question, and he has always gotten back to me immediately, whether it is about a product or tool recommendation, or styling and hair maintenance tip. I was getting my nails done at Dupont Nail and Spa and received a complimentary massage. It was a amazing so I decided to book a couples massage for the next day. I had the deep tissue massage and my friend had a Swedish massage. My massage was great. It wasn't really deep tissue but the was still awesome. My friend said her massage was great as well. I paid a little under $300 (not including 25% tip) for a 50 min massage. I'm not sure if this is standard because it's the first couples massage I've ever had. There was no wait time, the room was clean, they do try to up-sale you on different scented oils but no one was pushy. I would go again. read more

My first time there I was offered a mani or pedi while waiting for my hair color to set. I said why not and it was an awesome experience because it was a full pedicure while in the time my hair color was done, talk about time management! Full service AND Full attention. My go to guy is Thomas Shelton. I've been seeing Thomas for about 4 years now. He gives me the best highlights and cut that I've ever had. I love that Thomas is very honest with me, he's told me when I didn't need something that I thought i may need, saving me some $$, So if He ever tells you, you need something TRUST HIM. Thomas makes his own apt so if you'd like to make an apt you will need to call or text his cell. He's pretty booked so I suggest contacting him a week or so in advance. I had a facial with Sedi and it was AMAZING! She was incredibly helpful informing me about exactly what is the best skin care regimen for my incredibly fussy and sensitive skin. She was able to pinpoint and extract all of my nasty blackheads, AND the facial massage she gave me was HEAVENLY!!! All of the products she used made my skin feel like butter, and she even walked me through the best products for me to buy downstairs. She seriously is such a Godsend to me--I have had so many problems with dryness and rosacea and today my face has never looked and felt this amazing!! THANK YOU SEDI!!!!! I have been going to Thomas Shelton for almost five years, and I have never been happier with my hair. He taught me how to LOVE my natural curls, and he has given me several different fun, playful, and edgy haircuts over the years. I not only followed him from his previous salon, but I recently moved to Florida, and I am STILL fitting him in when I go back to DC! Great environment - the whole crew is super fun, and I always have a good time when I go! I don't even believe Groupon may save this horrible establishment. That is why they are desperately trying to draw in "fresh meat." Terrible customer service. No thanks !!I I do not recommend this establishment. The esthetician had a very bad attitude and she was gossiping about others in a very deceitful way. She rushed the work and overall was very rude. My skin was worse when I left there than when I arrived. I will never come to Spa Logic again and I told my family, friends and social media followers not to either.
