One thing I really appreciate is that the massage chair converts into a flat bed, so I don't have to get up and move during my session. The blankets are also a huge plus and make the experience much more comfortable. I've also had full body massages here and enjoyed them. Whether I pay with cash or card, the process is easy, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to relax and unwind.

They added $10 for each and when I tried to dispute it they wouldn't budge. I normally wouldn't comment on a small business but the way they handled payment was sketchy. I clearly said $10 total because I know the lady who worked on my fiance did an ok job where as mine was really bad. Also as two people who professionally do massage and soft tissue work I can't help but feel like we were ripped off. And for background we are on vacation but regularly get worked on by each other and other licensed therapists in the industry. It's fine for a cheap massage but for a 30minute foot massage from someone who doesn't have a good gage of anatomy and what areas you have to change the pressure I'm pretty annoyed that I gave her an additional $10 for ruining my day. I'm giving a 3 bcs my fiances therapist was a 4 and mine was a 1.

I can tell instantly when a person puts their hands on me if they have the gift of touch and Steve is the real deal. A beautiful and intimate space with many amazing plants bespeaks of a personal and inviting sanctuary for one to rest and heal. When one entrusts one's body to a healer one must be able to do just that and Steve's gifted technique has been honed over years of applied principles to the point of mastery. He is capable of any level of massage or healing: one only need to specify desired modality and pressure. Massage began with a good epsom salt foot scrub and then progressed to one of the deeper applications of pressure point massages I've ever had in my life, and I've had a few. To use this level of strength and pressure a person really must know what they're doing to effect healing and not injury, and healing is certainly the case here at Livewell massage; one of the finest boutique massage outfits on the planet, sans the boutique pricetag. I was poured a nice cup of some cherry juice at end to hydrate cause man, I was zonked! In a word - Go!

Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about the technology-free environment, as I had planned to catch up on emails. However, disconnecting turned out to be a blessing. It gave my eyes and brain the much-needed break they craved. The location itself is a serene oasis. I thoroughly enjoyed moving from the cold plunge to the heated pool, then relaxing by the fire pit, and indulging in the steam room and dry sauna. The eucalyptus steam was an absolute highlight--hands down the best I've ever experienced. Walking out of Refuge Days, I felt rejuvenated and like a whole new woman. This place is a true sanctuary for relaxation and self-care. I can't wait to return and embrace the tranquility again.

Reception was helpful and friendly and facilities were overall pretty clean and well maintained. No issues with the steam room/hot tubs/cold plunge pools and sauna. The only bit that irked me a little was that this place is supposed to be SILENT and also they clearly stated in the rules that there are no saving seats with personal items but these rules were both not enforced, people were talking/laughing and not a single staff was there to remind them to quiet down. Also around the firepits people were leaving their towels to claim spots so it was hard to find a seat around the firepits, 2 of the firepits had no one sitting there but all the chairs had towels on them. The anti-gravity chairs were also really squeaky (like more than normal), so it was hard to relax with all the sounds. Overall a nice place but they really should enforce the rules that they have to make it a more pleasant experience for those of us who are there to relax. Also- not sure why it is so hard for people to follow the rules, i mean are you guys just stupid or illiterate and can't read the signs that say "silence"?

She has such an infectious energy and is extremely personable, which makes for a really comfortable experience. It was my first time doing acupuncture and I loved it so much. You do not get the care and compassion from someone, let alone a physician/doctor anymore. She truly is changing the face of care in Chinese medicine. She stays in the room while treating you and does anything from massage your neck, change the treatment to benefit another spot of care, talk to you, or just be present. I have recommended Dr. ouchie (hehe) to everyone I know. I have done cupping, acupuncture, and facial gua sha & every treatment has been amazing. Love you Stephanie!!
