I can't believe my EYES! Literally. I go to the Spa Niobe at the Wilton CT location and the lash extensions by Crystal are the absolute best. She's meticulous in her work and as a result, the lashes stay put much longer than any other I've had. The results are amazing! They feel natural, look glam, and I only know they are there when I look in the mirror. I am so lucky to have found the nice folks here. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, they do a great job with everything from nails to facials, but Crystal's lash work is truly remarkable.

One of the worst manicures I have ever received and yet one of the most expensive.

This was the most expensive nail salon service I have ever gotten. I paid $84 for a regular mani pedi with tip and I'll be honest it's officially one of my worst manicures ever. I expect at least better service than usual if it's going to cost 2-3x more and yet my manicure is terrible, it wasn't put on well near the cuticles at all and looks choppy at the ends. No doubt it will come off sooner since it's attached to the cuticles and will grow out badly. Not to mention, one of the customers in the salon was rude to me and my friend and asked us to stop "chit chatting" because she wanted to "relax." Talking is allowed in the nail salon but no one said anything to the woman and I obviously wasn't going to talk back more than twice (I did say it was offensive and we were allowed to speak but we felt uncomfortable continuing our conversation after her remarks). I left the salon broke, angry and disrespected, and with an unattractive manicure. The pedicure seems to be fine but it was definitely not worth $45.

if i could put 0 i would. i legit just asked for a full gel set- she was super nice BUT she made me pay $150 for that (not including tip, she made sure to tell me that), and the next day 2 OF THEM fell off. not okay and I am very upset.

Me and my best friend were walking by when I decided for us to go in and do a French tip . Should of never walked in . This was the most HORRIBLE place I have ever been to and experienced. The front desk lady Betty was unbelievably unprofessional . Unclassy and tacky attitude . A customer for a 3pm massage arrived and a immediate issue was obvious She walked to the back and started yelling at someone so loud the entire salon could hear . She comes back and tells the calm gentleman they don't have him . Fast forward I asked for Acrylic French tips. They don't have it but some other technique that looks like it So I agree . The lady didn't even ask me how short I wanted until after I said they are way too short . Fast forward the nails look terrible. They charged me 100 for some basic nails I could of got next down the street for 50. I pay 136 total . I walk out of salon and Betty runs after me and I thought I may have forgot my debit card . And she demands and forces me to tip I didn't want as the service was beyond unprofessional. I give her 100 she gives me back 4 20s and keeps a 20. No I tell her to give me 90 back. It's very unclassy and disgusting for them to even do that. I asked if tipping was mandatory and she ignored me. No one tips for a overpriced terrible service . At least no one I know. What made me really write this review is My thumb nail snapped as soon as I got home and the coat build up for the French tip has been dissolving ... mind this its been 2 days . Waste of money and time for such a bad experience. I really do hope you men and ladies do not ever come here. Read other reviews . I wish I did before I stepped in this place . But I just so happen to live nearby and walk walking by. The only nice touch about this place is the nice Hispanic nail lady . Felt she was excluded from the other ladies there . Hope she finds a better place to work at than this place. Do yourself a favor and never try this place out . It's

    Pricey but nice...

The lady did a beautiful job but paid $61 for a regular pedi and mani and they fond have disposable products. I got a nice complementary massage but still to pricey for nothing outstanding. Not coming back.

I had a Russian pedicure and a 10 min massage. The cost was $121 and she never even buffed the soles of my feet or anything! Outrageous

Hospitality is great, front office manager gentleman is sweet and welcoming. My nail technician was Jee Young. She was professional, meticulous and very thoughtful. They were also very accommodating as I moved my service up by an hour for which was very appreciated. It truly creates a relaxing atmosphere. However, I've noticed that the quality of the mani & pedi has declined over the years, which has made me hesitant to return, even though it's in the most convenient location for me. These days when I returned, it's just for last minute color change to avoid more damage. I referred a friend to join me for a mani/pedi once, and she also mentioned that while the ambiance is great, but the owners should get their own mani & pedi done by their technicians, which I completely agree with. While I usually don't like getting my cuticles pushed or cut, I really appreciate that they respected that preference. However, when it comes to removing polish, it's done very recklessly with a lack of attention to detail. On several occasions, they've scraped the skin around the nails--sometimes cutting it to the point where it bled and required a bandage. When I mentioned this to the hostess after she asked for feedback, she dismissed it by saying I have sensitive skin. Since when is it normal for skin to be scraped during a mani/pedi? Additionally, I've had gel mani here twice in a row, and the technician over-shaved to the point where my nails ended up paper-thin that I have to ask the technician to apply extra coats to make up for it. One time, the technician even touched my skin with the machine that is used to shave the gel polish off. I've also had my skin scraped during pedicures, which is concerning. Every time I get a gel mani, within two weeks, the polish would start to lift on the cuticle side, which shows a lack of precision during the application. My friend got a regular mani & pedi here, and one of her nails chipped within a day. While I still love the atmosphere and the owners, the decline in the quality of the services, especially regarding polish removal, nail care, and attention to detail, has made me hesitant on coming back.

The interior design of the space is what pulled my attention when walking up 9th Ave. It is chic yet accessible and never approaches being or feeling gaudy. Very clean look (and space). Great color palate used. Very comfortable chairs. Good use of white space accentuated with green angular paint and golden decals and other ornamentations, all done minimally and with purposeful placement. Carmen (my nail tech) made good efforts and took obvious care to give me a nice buff manicure, all for only $27 (+ a small amount of tax). No nips or cuts. No pain. Textbook technique. Picked up well on when I wanted to zen out to the aura of the space and the well-curated spa playlist vs when I was open to a little nail tech kiki. Loved the sugar scrub they use for the hand massage. I take ownership for not getting the pre-cuticle work nail soak as part of the provided service. IMO, if a nail salon doesn't automatically incorporate the soak into your mani, you as the customer should speak up when the softening gel is pulled out and before it is applied. If they don't offer it? That's another thing. But I didn't test those waters and cannot speak to Nail Me Right (goodness gravy I love the business name!). So, keep in mind if the soak is your thing. They were very accommodating from the moment I arrived until I left. So I have a hunch this request wouldn't be a problem. Same with the end result. You as the customer are responsible for checking your nails / hands / feet / whatever before ending the appointment. I was late for my next appointment and did not, later seeing I would've like a little extra work done where the far end of nail edges meets the finger and a shinier buff applied. Again, I am quite sure Carmen would have accommodated had I done my part and spoken up before leaving. Still, I woke up the next morning to those slight extra bits naturally working themselves out (which points to the moisturizing measures NMR applies being of good quality), and my hand looking nice. I plan to pop in next time I'm in the area and in the market for some nail / hand / foot love, and hope you'll consider doing the same to support this family and what they're working to bring to the neighborhood.
