It was my first time here and wow. Honestly, they should rename it the WOW massage. I did a quick…read morescan of the Yelp reviews before booking, and that's what led me to make a reservation with Elizabeth-- and Elizabeth alone was what sold me on becoming a member. I went in not knowing how I'd feel about the place and walked out a full-blown member. I can be really sensitive to scents, so I love and appreciate how natural all of their products smell. I was also a little worried about the "shared room" concept, but meanwhile I felt like I was alone on a beach somewhere beautiful and on vacation. They do such a great job with the white noise too -- actual relaxing waves crashing on a beach, not the annoying kind lol. When I called last night, I spoke with someone who was so sweet and helpful (I wish I got her name), and she answered all of my questions. Then today for my appointment, I was greeted by Ky, who helped me sign up for the membership at the end. I swear everyone here just has this warm, kind, welcoming energy to them, which is so important for a place like this I can't wait to come back!

All therapists are great, but i have moved to Elizabeth V as my primary therapist as she has an aura about her that glows. She truly cares about not just the quality of your massage but your post massage care as well. She gives advice about things you can do at home to work on problem areas. You do need to book her at least 2 weeks in advance (yup shes that good). Ive never had an unpleasant experience here in 2 years, Everyone on the staff is kind and courteous. Its always extremely clean welcoming. Very easy to relax into your massage. 10/10

This place is absolutely gorgeous. It almost fit the complete bill for being at a high end hotel…read moreright by the water. My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage here on a sunny Saturday. Having booked the service, we were allowed to utilize the amenities located in the spa. In order to get to the spa (if you're not staying in the hotel), you had to drive into the front entrance of the hotel. This is located on the side opposite of PCH. The only real option to park is through valet service which the spa takes care of as part of the cost of the service. Our massages were booked for 2pm but we arrived around 11:30am to have lunch and enjoy the amenities. The food was pretty good and the servings were plentiful. We got a chicken Cesar wrap and the charcuterie board. You're able to eat and have the food brought over just like you were ordering room service, it was definitely room service cost and they charged for delivery to the garden. After we finished eating, we lounged in the garden to catch some sun. This is the part where I say that it almost fit the bill... the weather loved tents providing shade had mold on the canvas. Maybe it was just weather warn because it does stay outside all year round? Not sure but I'm thinking that it definitely looked like mold to me. After the sun, we enjoyed the indoor amenities of steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. For me, there a few other patrons enjoying the amenities but my boyfriend said that he pretty much had the men's locker room all to himself. My favorite part about the amenities was the shower. The shower had a rainfall shower, a handheld shower and then several steam shower heads on three of the walls. The products in the shower smelled great and I would definitely use them again. For our massages, we have the couples suite. The room was absolutely gorgeous complete with 2 massage tables, 2 sinks, a gorgeous tub, 2 separate showers this beautiful stone piece on the far wall. Massages were great and relaxing. After the massages, our massage therapists led us out to the garden again to pretty much recover from the service and it was definitely needed. Upon checking it out from our service, we perused the gift shop. There were cute clothing pieces there as well as the products that were utilized as part of some of the services. When paying, they let us know that the gratuity was already covered in the cost so that was nice. Given the cost for each service, I thought it was a generous but also fair tip. Because we finished late afternoon, we decided to walk down to the pier and venture around there. We were able to keep the car there and the hotel bellman allowed us to store our gym bags in the hotel as well, all at no extra cost. If I was looking to splurge again, I would probably come back. What would sweeten the deal is if we were able to use the hotel pool too but they said that it is only allowed during the weekdays when the pool isn't too busy.

Spa is a little hidden gem but was also easy to find once you know where to go. Beautiful…read moredecorations with their wooden doors and other zen elements like the waterfall walls. They have various spa options from facials to massages. About $300-$400 for selected services. Day spa ticket to use facilities was $100 included hot sauna and jacuzzi, locker rooms, showers etc. Their spa store had a lot of high quality selections too including clothes, scents, candles and jewelry. Next to it was the access to the workout room. Which had various machines and weight equipment.

I love all the different treatment rooms ranging from different types of heat levels. The cafeteria also serves really delicious food at affordable price. I recently went to a kspa up in LA and it was small, crowded and smelly. Irvine Spa in contrast is so spacious, clean and not crowded on a week night. I'm so happy to have Irvine Spa so close to me.

Came here for the second time this weekend, got the scrub and gold massage for $210, which comes…read morewith access to the whole facility (usually $40 without a service). We booked reservations ahead of time. This is an ASIAN spa, which means clothing is not present on the gender specific sides (they give you a pink or brown cotton shorts and t shirt uniform to wear in the common area). My favorite thing is to bring a book and read in the common area after my treatment , and also eat lunch at the Korean restaurant. Highly recommend doing this as at least a 4 hour excursion, you can stay up to 6 hours (which we did ). I like that the services are also pretty comprehensive if you do the most expensive one (face mask, hair wrap, full body etc ) Pros: - the actual spa service itself is quite luxurious - I had Sumi and she did a fantastic job scrubbing off all my dead skin, I feel super exfoliated and very soft afterwards. I was so relaxed during my gold wrap that I fell asleep LOL. And the Asian style massage was great, especially on the back and shoulders. - the sheer variety of amenities outside of the appointment are great too - I recommend coming at least an hour earlier than your appointment so you can take advantage of the hot tubs, wet sauna, and fire and forest rooms that make you sweat - co-ed with separate gender sides for the actual spa, and then a joint common area where you wear your uniforms and are clothed. Great for couples if you want to try something new together ! - the Korean restaurant inside the spa is actually so good - solid Korean style street food and the bingsoo is so good (medium is easily shareable between 2-3 people) - easy to use locker keys - lovely common area with heated floors, TVs playing the World Cup, and some massage chairs - I do really love the ice room in the common area Cons: - I'm soooo glad we came on the earlier side around 9am on a Saturday because it got VERY busy later in the day after 12noon. Honestly some people were very loud and disrespectful in the common area where talking isn't supposed to be allowed - straight up talking on the phone or having full conversations. Not a fan if you're trying to relax and have peace - I almost wish I brought loop ear plugs. Probably more a complaint about the clientele than the actual service - because it's so popular, the reservation appointment times don't become available until 1-2 weeks beforehand Overall - I definitely would come back again just because the service appointment is so good and it feels good to get exfoliated and massaged. The one thing I do wish they had more availability is a scalp focused section of the massage, but I can't be that made haha 10/10 but I wish loud culturally unaware people would stop coming here and ignoring directions Tips: - helpful to bring cash for tip (they give you an envelope at the end of your treatment that sometimes has a Venmo account but not always ) - if you like showering with your own shampoo and conditioner, bring it. They also have hairdryers there but bring your hair tools or moisturizer if you want to use it after your service ! - no one actually cares that you're naked and it's not as weird as you think it is, everyone's in their own zone having a relaxing time - book an early appointment time so you don't have to compete for tub or shower space!

Such a gorgeous, peaceful spa and grounds. I'd been to Pelican Hill for dinner and decided to try…read moretheir spa for my monthly self-care. I had a great experience. The spa facility is absolutely beautiful and immaculate, and the service is top notch. You truly can't beat the view and location of this place. I enjoyed the Rejuvenation Aromatherapy Massage with added Himalayan salt stones. My therapist was kind and personable; she communicated well with me about my needs and preferences. After my treatment, I rested in the comfortable lounge for a bit and then enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. You also get access to the outdoor pool with spa treatment, and I went to check that out as well. The service is excellent at the resort, and I received warm and welcoming assistance from everyone I encountered. Note that parking for visitors is valet, $15 with spa validation.

I could not believe how wonderful it was - and i don't know what has taken me so long to visit. Hands down, my favorite spa in the OC. I went in on a quiet Wednesday morning, it was divine. the service was attentive. i ordered in the lounge and they brought everything to me there to eat after my treatments. it was immaculate. food was yum. drinks were great. There did seem to be, a lot of guests that came in just after lunch (after golfing maybe? tennis?) on the women's side. I could see upon exiting that maybe the attendants were having some trouble keeping up with emptying trash and picking up towels and glasses/cleaning shower stalls in a timely manner. maybe they all went on break at the same time? Angela was my massage therapist - she was a phenom! i am really looking forward to being back. everyone at the pools, spa, valet, concierge, grill restaurant - A plus!! thank you for a wonderful day of relaxation.
