Had an old Charisma Spa that stopped heating. I have two young girls and no hot tub wasn't going to fly for long. I contacted my manufacturer of the heater unit and was referred to Jim. Called at least two other repair guys that just referred me to dead ends. Jim called me back and we scheduled an appointment. He came right on time with a call prior to so I could get home from work. He was upfront about costs and diagnosed my unit in no time. Turned out to be a fried board and he gave me a couple options for repair. I chose what I though best with no pressure. He even came inside and checked out replacement option on the web with me. Jim up spending twice the time he quoted me on, at no fault to him but a factory recommended board that was not a perfect fit. He knew what to do and did it. Honored his original quote even though it took way longer than either of us anticipated. Also got a new Made in the USA Spa Cover ordered through him. The medium weight was perfect and its really solid. I need to replace my spa cover and cover lift after all the heavy rain last winter. It was a little pricey but needed to be done. The first spa cover had a small defect in the material, and probably many people would have walked away and hoped I didn't notice. Jim ordered a second spa cover, which unfortunately wasn't made with the correct measurements. It was pretty close, but the skirt was a little too short and the cover locks weren't in the right place (they would have worked but were longer than they needed to be). Jim then ordered a 3rd cover, which is exactly right. Talk about attention to detail and commitment to doing the right thing! He probably made 8 trips to my house, and never charged me a cent more. Thank you Jim Nance for coming out the Saturday before Easter to fix our hot tub as our grand sons are arriving for Spring Break tonight and the first thing they want to do is thaw out in the hot tub. Such great service, such knowledge, I was so lucky to have found him on Good Friday. The problem turned out be minor even though our 15 year old tub needs a new heater in the future, he got it up and running with a new outside plug to the outlet and checked the entire system out very thoroughly and the bill was nothing like I expected. I called Jim when one of the pumps on my Sundance jacuzzi began leaking. Over the next day or two, Jim contacted me by phone and texted me with follow up questions and even asked me to take a couple of pics of the pump. Jim proactively reached out to Sundance before he showed up for the call and found that the pump was still under warrantee. This saved me a great amount of money. Jim spent about 90 minutes fixing the new pump and even helped me with a Clear Ray error and gave me a good lesson in adding pool chemicals. Jim is very personable, and he even texted me a reminder list the day after the call, showing me the exact amount of chemicals I should use and when. If I encounter any more jacuzzi issues-I will certainly call Jim again-Thanks Jim! read more

We were almost going to give up on finding a reputable company to repair our tub but was fortunate enough to find Spa Tech on Yelp. After contacting Jim he basically told me what was wrong with my hot tub after describing what the issue was, once he told me exactly how much the it would cost for him to come out and confirm what he suspected. Jim cane out a few days later and fixed it and even fixed a kink that he discovered that was unrelated bottom line it was a great experience which led to us getting our hot tub up and running! After ordering a new cover and having electrical work done on the jacuzzi they were ok. When the film deposits problems started Jim Nance said to use an algizide which became a tar deposit on my tile. When called and asked about the problem he said my tile was old.? He has zero customer support. Comes across as a guy who knows all but will gladly pass the buck. read more
