The hot lemon pepper catfish was fried perfectly and is served with a ranch drizzle and fries. My favorite thing are the Turkey Legs. It is an absolute must try! The turkey leg is super flavorful and tender. It literally falls off the bone. I ordered collard greens & mac & cheese as my sides. I was absolutely amazed by the crab boil! It comes with a huge portion of crab legs, sausage, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. It is seasoned really well and doesn't even need the butter dipping sauce that comes with it. The customer service is amazing! The owner comes out and greets every customer! The food is delicious and affordable. There are also ample tv's and free parking, which is rare in Atlanta. After ordering the waitress tells me that the Shrimp is a separate price, an additional $7.00. This is very deceptive. They are charging $24.99 for one small fried Lobster tail, fries & salad. Please update your menu if the Shrimp is no longer included in the meal. The waitress said the sides weren't included, when in fact the Lobster comes with fries and a side salad. By the time I got home the very small salad with very little lettuce was wilted & the cheese on it was melted. They made the fried okra fresh. The lobster & fish was tasty. I ordered a pickup order for us, so we did not dine in. But when I went to pick up the food, the setting seemed pretty chill. The bartenders were very nice and respectful as well! The food? REALLY GOOD! I loved every bite. We got Alfredo, one with just Chicken and one with just broccoli, and we got a Soul Bowl. -The Alfredo(s): Very good! We ordered a Soul Bowl, Chicken wings, Chicken and Waffles, Salmon alfredo pasta, Collard Green Gumbo, grilled shrimp and fries, and some delicious sides. Spanky's did not disappoint!!! Their soul bowl comes with cornbread & 3 sides plus one protein. I chose collard greens, sweet potato, and mac n cheese with fried catfish. I Wish I had ordered the turkey ribs as well because other patrons were ecstatic about them, and they looked so so soooo amazing!! We will be stopping by again to sample them before we head home. Our party of 5 all gave them a 10 out of 10. & We had enough left over food to take home and enjoy as well, due to the fact that the portions are very generous. I stopped by Spanky's Chicken & Seafood on the Eastside...Decatur to be exact!! First things first you must get a Frozen Slushie Lemonade mix 10/10 they are so good, I got all 3 flavors mixed. My friend sent me they IG page and the food looked so good. We decided to go the next day. They are right of hwy 20 and candler rd. I had to get that infamous Turkey leg.
