The food was tasteless and the lasagna was burned and had no meat. I called to make my order. I had a coupon for a free lasagna if you purchased a pasta dish. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I asked if I could use the coupon for free Lasagna and the girl said yes. Then she gave me the total of $18.98 and I asked why so much if the lasagna is free. She told me oh yes, we will deduct the lasagna when you pay . I said ok, so I can use it today? She answered of course. Went to Spanky's to pick up my order. Girl told me I couldn't use my coupon, because all pasta was only $6.95 on Tuesday. I told her I was told I could use the coupon on the phone by the person who answered. So at the end of all this BS. I paid $18.98 for the tasteless meatless food. Good pizza and fun spot. The super duper is similar to the supreme, we ordered the NY style but thought it was supposed to be thin and came out poofy like Pizza Hut's. We ordered the small which was enough for two people, maybe even four people if you order sides. The baked spaghetti is pretty good, and the chili cheese fries were standard and a huge portion. Went to Spank's today, off the Gulf Freeway at Telephone Rd. First they had no silverware? Gave me plastic. I asked for salad first, they brought the Spaghetti and meatballs first?? Got cold while I ate my salad that came later. The meatballs were RAW inside. Not cooked at all. So disappointed. Left after being charged for the salad. read more

The establishment's decorations and it's environment is a 5/5. My team and I (8 people total) were greeted by a waitress and guided us to a table in the middle. We were then asked for drinks but all of us got water. The menu is on a QR code on the table so you can use your mobile device. We got three pizzas: margarita, chicken Alfredo, and super duper. All hand tossed. The margarita pizza was ok in my opinion. 3/5 overall. Ooey stretchy cheese was great I almost choked. Didn't really taste much that differentiates from a regular cheese pizza. The chicken alfredo pizza was good. 4/5 literally chicken alfredo without the pasta on top of pizza. Although my team didn't eat most of it I finished it for them. The super duper pizza was good. 4/5 it's similar to a supreme pizza and it's heavy on every distinct flavor Overall, 4/5. Would I go again with my team or friends/family? I first found out about spanky's on DoorDash we ordered the super duper with stuffed crust and it was absolutely amazing! It had tons of meat, it was fresh, it was hot and delicious!! We ordered it again a couple of weeks later thinking that there is no way this pizza is going to be as good as it was the first time and it was!! They are a must try if you are going to be in the vicinity of hobby airport this one on telephone road is a must stop by and try. You will not be disappointed. I'll be back super duper soon! This place really surprised me when I walked in. Being a native Houstonian, I had always head about it but never visited the place. First of all, there was plenty of Larkin's space, which is essential when you have a huge F250 to park. Spanky's wins on parking I walked in and was amazed at how nice this place was; the decor, the amount of table and booth seating, and the cleanliness of the place. Not a typical pizza place for sure. There were pasta, pizza, and salad options which were nice. We opted for the small pepperoni pizza with jalapeños and extra cheese. The small pizza was just enough for 2 people, especially with the mozzarella sticks. The pizza was good but it was not as hot as I would've liked as were the cheese sticks. However, they did have a 1/2 price deal for a large one topping pizza so it's definitely a great spot to bring your kids and family. Give it a try and enjoy a pizza pie! read more

So last night supposedly the manager Lily doesn't have any control of the music on the loud speaker. I asked politely if they could change the music but she doesn't have control over it. She's more concerned with flirting with the cop at the front host stand than to tend to her workers or her clients. As a manager of a restaurant, I know managers have control of it. Trying to enjoy a night out and nothing cut cussing and vulgar music is completely unprofessional. We drove all the way from Kingwood to eat here and this is the type of atmosphere we are exposed to. Best pizza I've had in Houston. It's in the middle of the road between Chicago/NY style, and plenty of options for crusts and types of pizzas. On Mondays and Wednesdays, you can get a large pizza that's $11! I go here at least twice a month. Can't beat the quality, fun atmosphere, and flavor of a great pie. read more

My husband picked this place and I was nervous because I didn't check Yelp first. Lol. I thought because of the prices and amount of children's birthday parties going on it would be mediocre. And I was surprised! I really enjoyed my pizza. We had my pepperoni, "deep dish" style. Which is my only critique. Their deep dish isn't deep dish at all, more like pan style from the Hut. But that's actually my favorite pizza style so I was happy. The margaritas were good too. You don't find many pizza spots with ritas so this was different but great. The pizza was good; just a bit too cheesy and not cooked enough. Houston is lacking great pizza, but Spanky's always delivers. Well, pre-COVID, they didn't have delivery, but you get what I mean. I've had Spanky's dozens of times, and I have dined in a couple of times. The pizza is always consistently delicious! Every time I've dined in, I've been with a very large group (around 20 people), and the staff has always been super accommodating even with splitting our bills. Their salads are generously portioned. Their apps while none are healthy, they are all delicious. The fried pickles are a favorite of mine! I usually order their special pizza with original thin crust. Yum! Hey y'all!!! So if you ever find yourself on the south side of town y'all need to go try SPANKY'S!! I went there Friday after work for HAPPY HOUR with my mom and aunt and I love how their happy hour is until 7pm!! Let's talk WINGS!! Those wings (making my mouth water) were so juicy and HUGE, very impressed!! Moving on to the PIZZA... it was sooooooo YUMMY we went with a small deep dish veggie and we added beef. I have been going to the Spankys on Bellaire and 59 since shortly after it opened. I have had no problems until thi past Tuesday and you only one chance to disrespect me when I'm spending my money. Basically, it was taking forever for the baked wings to come. I order them all the time and instead of making it right. The bartender and the General Manager argue with me about how long it had taken. Who does that? Whether you agree or not you don't argue with paying customers.
