If I could give zeros I would. I am currently here now and this has been horrible. 6.00 for shoes and they are trash. You can not slide,the floors on the lanes are so sticky my son hurt twisted his ankle because of it.I will never come back here. Absolutely not worth the super expensive price. read more

We stopped in this past Saturday afternoon on a lark as I'd heard about this new business via word of mouth (Many claiming it to be similar to a Dave & Busters). It was PACKED. This is a good thing for the business, but we found ourselves waiting in line to play games, or relegating to *any* game that was available. Overall, I'd say they have a decent selection of games -- but many are geared toward grabbing your cash at a chance to win tickets, vs any entertainment (i.e. gambling for kids). Skee Ball was fun, however I didn't enjoy the child jumping on my lane as I was trying to throw a ball -- comes with the territory, I guess. We eventually found ourselves in the bar/restaurant area for lunch. We initially sat at a high top two chair in the bar area, but after at least 10 minutes of no service, shifted directly to the bar. It honestly didn't get much better. We could see they were understaffed, however neither of the two servers acknowledged us for yet another 10 minutes. With regards to food, we opted for the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich w/fries, as well as an appetizer of Crispy Sprouts. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, was hot, and looked tasty. The sandwich was decent; not really anything good or bad about it. I will say it wasn't very spicy -- could just be my affinity for hot sauce speaking, however. The sprouts were anything but 'Crispy', as advertised. Limp and soggy are the only two words that come to mind to describe them. Bottom line -- I will likely come back during the week when it's not as busy to see if it was a one-off mediocre experience. read more

Buckle up. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had at any bowling alley OR restaurant. Let's start from the beginning: Myself and 5 of my close friends (all adults) went for their Thursday night "strikes and slices" deal ($12.99 for unlimited bowling and pizza 9 PM-11 PM). We walked in and immediately waited over 15 minutes for assistance, when finally greeted we were told there were no available lanes and we would need to wait 30 minutes. We decided to wait at the bar and get a drink. It was not busy and yet still took 15 minutes for us all to get an overpriced beer ($7 domestic 20oz pours). I literally witnessed a drug deal between a gentleman and an employee from the kitchen and it could not have been more obvious. Let's just say the clientele here is not classy. After 30 minutes I went up to the counter because I noticed there were over 10 open lanes. At this point it is already 930 PM. Nobody was at the counter and I waited another five minutes until a maintenance man noticed me and said he will look for someone. A manager then comes to the counter and helps us get started on a lane and takes our payment (very polite, I feel so bad for him dealing with working there) Upon sitting down we noticed the lanes are skinnier than regulation bowling lanes and you cannot spin the ball correctly. For a serious bowler this is a huge problem. For me it was just annoying. The pizza issue: I could not find the buffet for the "unlimited free pizza". I finally found a manager and inquired about it. His response was that I need to go the pizza counter where I can get my slices. I went to the pizza counter and there was no pizza. I asked the guy behind the counter where the pizza was and he said I needed to order at the bar. I went to the bar and the bartender tried to charge me to make the pizzas. I told him I got the unlimited pizza deal and he said to go to the pizza counter. Finally the employees started bickering in front of me and a manager got involved. Everyone single employee I encountered had a "not my problem" attitude. After about 15 minutes they had some pizza ready for us. It was actually pretty decent. During our bowling we wanted a couple more drinks so we went to the drink counter and saw a crumpled receipt that said " Be right back " so we waited five minutes and nobody came back. After about 20 minutes we noticed someone come back and got some beers. Summary: We got there around 845 PM and left by 1015 PM because we were so fed up with being there. Pros: pizza, beer, bowling Cons: Everything else, severely understaffed, nobody cares, terrible experience. If I could rate this place zero stars, I would. It was so bad this is my first yelp review. This was a decent surprise for me. We went there as a little family outing one night. We bowled a couple of games, had some food, and then hit the arcade. It was a pretty good time. They had a decent selection of food and assortment of games. The food was what you would expect but was actually pretty good. I like how clean the place was, which is always a good thing with me. Was not too expensive and is a decent way to spend some time together especially in the nice cold Iowa winter nights. read more

Took my kids (13 & 14 years old) on a Sunday. There wasn't a ton of people there by any means. The games were fine but the kids got bored within 10 minutes. The prizes are insane! If you have less than 1,000 points, you might as well just save your points for next time. I hate writing anything negative about a place like this because the general idea is great. It'd be great to have a place that was like arcades were back in the day. Not overpriced and geared towards the fun. There's not many places for teens to go for fun, and this place has the potential, just needs some improvement to get in the right direction. read more

We just went for an hour of bowling. The establishment looks very nice and has a lot of fun things, I'm sure the laser tag and escape rooms are fun, the arcade games looked neat. When we got our lane, no one really explained how it worked. There are servers that come to you, but ours took a while to come to our lane. We wanted to get a drink, so my partner went up to the bar, where the bartender was kind of rude about her not knowing that servers come around to the tables. I get he didn't want to give her two drinks without ID'ing the other person, but the defensiveness and tone be brought to that interaction was weird. The service was ok, although when I had asked for a refill of my drink, the server forgot and came back around asking if "we were all still good". Also didn't answer my question about if the shrimp was fried in the same frier as the other food, so we didn't end up ordering any food as I have a shellfish allergy and was concerned about that. So, nice establishment, probably everyone needs a little more customer service training. Likely won't go back for bowling, but might try out one of the other activities they had. Also, the bowling was expensive. We'll probably stick to Cedar Rapids Bowling Center to bowl in the future read more

Was so excited on this Friday night to go have some fun with friends and bowl and play games. Well that didn't happen because we are all 18, but our one friend doesn't have her drivers license. The bouncer proceeds to say, do you have your passport? Yeah, we totally brought our passport to a bowling alley... We tell him we can prove her being 18 by her MyChart, but it can't be "electronic". This is uterally disgusting. How can we have fun? We can't. It's not our fault she doesn't have her drivers license. We are all 18, and guess what. You just lost our business and many others aswell. This is not how you run a business and it shows because there's 12 cars in the parking lot on a Friday night. read more

I went with my family to the mothers day brunch and paid 24.99 for a hotel continental breakfast. The mimosa was and extra 7.50 and it was nothing but juice with a splash of alcohol. They place the table with food along the wall in the back so you couldn't make a line on each side to speed up the long wait to eat. They gave you an hour and a half to eat before the nexted group came. The quality of the food was okay. I will not be coming back to eat for brunch again. They need to step up the food selection and the flow traffic. SMH read more

We went bowling and there was kids walking on our lanes and no one was around to stop them. We were there for an hour without service. We flagged multiple staff members down and asked them to get someone for us and we never seen anyone after that. In front of the lanes were slippery because people without the proper shoes were walking on the lanes. When we told the manger about having no service for an hour they said there was nothing they could do because we stayed the whole time. read more

Went here for some family fun and the service here is just flat out awful. Prices are way too high for the shitty service we received. Stood at the bar for 5 minutes waiting for the guy at the register to acknowledge me and he never did. Got a slushie from someone who wasn't supposed to use the cash register so it was free. Thank god because the guy would've never helped me anyways. Not only was that awful but the machine I was playing on the crew came to restock it and they removed all the cards I was going for in the middle of playing it. Made me not want to play the game because they removed all my work I had done to get the cards to the end so I can retrieve them. Very disappointed in this arcade. The machines should be stocked when no one is in the building and if they want to "fix" the cards then they should also do that when no customers are in the building. How frustrating. Not only did I spend $300 here but I wanted to go back and I don't think I will with the kind of service we received today. read more

I have a daughter with multiple food allergies. As a general rule, dives with junk food like this bowling alley are either incapable or resolutely unwilling to cater to food allergies. Since this isn't our first rodeo, my wife went ahead and made her some food that my 13 year old daughter could take with her. To be safe, my wife called this business twice to confirm that they had a microwave for this purpose. On both occasions, she talked to a manager and she was assured that a microwave was available to heat-up the food. Ofcourse on the day of the party, my daughter was first told that it was a health code violation and therefore they could not reheat her food. After being confronted, the manager, Loc Martindale, changed his story and explained that they don't have microwaves. He made it very clear that he had no idea why we were previously told that the food could be reheated. He became flippant and just radiated a highly unprofessional attitude making it clear that a hungry kid is not his problem. So, at this point, Loc Martindale and the rest of staff are either liers or just plain incompetent. Ofcourse, they can be both. Either way, I would give them a wide berth. Besides, their cavalier attitude towards food allergies will end up getting someone hurt, and when that happens, Loc may not have to worry about his dismal attitude since he will be out of a job. For those who don't have food allergies, keep in mind that this type of dishonest and undisciplined behavior will bleed into the kitchen as well - so exercise caution when you order food from them. read more
