Fun place to go bowling and play arcade games! Would recommend going on a random weekday if you want to avoid crowds. The Wizard of Oz coin game is so addicting!!

Went to go bowling, but with over a two hour wait, we opted for food and games. A pleasant time had by all. Great atmosphere for family fun.

Go kart racing, arcade games, bowling, an obstacle course -- something for everyone regardless of age or size. We spent an entire afternoon here creating memories with endless laughter while testing our physical aptitudes. Pack the family into the cars and make your way over to Spare Time. You can thank me later.

My wife and I had a date night this past week and decided to bowl and play some pool. This was our first time at Spare Time Texas--it's always been a place we pass by when we grocery shop at the Wal-Mart nearby. We decided to give it a try. We came on a Tuesday and were lucky enough to take advantage of their Tuesday 1/2 off deals. We paid a super low amount to play pool and bowl. Walking inside it gave us Dave and Buster's vibes--they have a great arcade area, a dining area, laser tag, a couple spots for pool tables and two areas for bowling. It was an open space, a lot of room for a lot of people. They have an online reservation option for bowling that I would highly recommend people utilize, otherwise you may be waiting a while. If you're open to taking advantage of the place's other activities then you'll be fine, but if it's bowling you just want to do, make that online reservation! There are only two pool tables available, so if it's pool you're looking for, you may not get a table if you go on a busy day. We played pool for about 45 minutes before we were called for our bowling lane. We were out in a special room where the lanes have light displays and the music is loud--it was great!!! It was just my wife and I, but we'll definitely bring a group of friends the next time. They had couch-like seating at each lane and servers were coming and going with drinks and food. We didn't order any food this time around, but it looked like your typical "bar foods"--wings, fries, etc. and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Maybe next time. Overall we appreciated the affordable pricing and the vibe. We'll be back to check out its other offerings and maybe to try the food.

Lots of different activities are available, including axe throwing, bowling, an arcade, pool, and monthly trivia nights. We've been to several trivia nights (Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars) and they were each fun and challenging. The host is great. Service during trivia is hit or miss if the room is full and everyone shows up at the same time. We waited over an hour once to get our food. The food is just okay. The custom trivia drinks were the most fun out of the whole menu.

Went on MLK day and they open business as us usual am also honor their weekly special. Renting shoes is $4 and per game per person is $4.50. We did not know it is per person per game, so it can get pricy this way. They do have some really good packages across the week and I have attached a picture of it. Inside they have bowling, arcade games, laser tags and the area is really spacious! We ordered an appetizer sampler and it's delicious! Their honey sirachi boneless wing is so crispy and juicy! The mozzarella sticks are a bit cold when they come. I would definitely suggest this place and you should go at one of their deal time to save some bucks! Great activity for super cold or hot days.

Been here a few times and I'm still happy with the time spent here. Kids are always having fun. I do think it's a little pricey and it seems like the food service needs more people. Other than that. Their food is of great quality. And they have deals going all the time. Today's deal with Labor Day is unlimited bowling incl shoes rental, laser tag, and videos for I believe $18 till 5 pm. Pretty good deal!!! The Pizza was $18 and on Monday's they have $5 margarita's in plain, mango, strawberry, and pomegranate. Mango is good. Pomegranate is really tart... and I've reached my max.

3rd date night in the week and we had a blast. Almost felt like luck to get a lane so late on a Friday night. It is best to come by 10 for the 11 rush and specials. The service was good and the overall setup is pretty nice. They do turn off the lights as well and that is where it was challenging for me to play with all the lights flashing but it was super fun.

My family and I went to Spare Time early on a Saturday morning and we had an amazing time! All the employees were super friendly and helpful. The manager, Zach, was kind enough to show us around and kept checking in on us. We spent the morning playing laser tag (sooo much fun) and checking out the awesome arcade they have. We then had lunch at Shakers, which - if you have not had Shakers wings - you, my friend, are MISSING OUT!! They are the absolute best!!! We got two different flavors and Chef Kent even came out and brought us a side of Angry Sauce (hot) to try! After our delicious lunch we bowled and had a blast. As far as upholding Co-vid precautions, this place is top notch. They have all queues marked for social distancing, hand sanitizer readily available, as well as wipes at the arcade.

This place is outstanding!!! 100%. Non-stop, top notch fun... but what makes this spot truly special is the staff. Caring, Attentive, and charming beyond belief. Special shout outs to Dennis, Becca, and Devon. My wife and I are educators and decided to bring our kids here... and we'll be back soon. Thank you for making us feel like FAMILY!!! The Andersen's

During this visit to Pinstack we got food, played games and did some bowling. The bowling was fun but it's bowling so you should know what to expect. The food was half and half. The Mac and Cheese balls were super super good and my wife and I gobbled those up quick. The fries however, not that great. It's supposed to be "cheese fries" but in actuality it was just a bunch of fries with a small amount of shredded cheese and some sour cream on top. The games were fun but it does cost a lot of points per game to do anything. If you're gonna get a small amount of game credits on your play card, like 20 for example, you'll run out of points quick. I would like to come back again for bowling but I won't rush out the door to come back. I'd say if you're coming here for the first time, get a good amount of credits on your game card or just do bowling. Food is up to you since we only tried 2 appetizers I can't comment too much on it.

The salad bar alone is enough reason for me to go back to eat there. Everything was fresh and crisp on the salad bar. The pizzas and other food were replenish non-stop and it was always hot and fresh. They always had cups, ice, and drinks available. I am serious. I'm picky and I can't think of something to complain about here. The rides are always a hit with the kids. Mine will spend 8 or 9 hours there - happily. My husband joked that it should be a place for summer camps. 4 of our group didn't want the buffet and got burgers and taquitos from the restaurant. my husband is quite the food snob and said that the burger was awesome and gave me a bite. I agreed. The bacon was like a thick cut slab of pork belly. If I didn't enjoy the salad bar so much I would definitely get the burger, but I can have the best of both worlds and eat some of his next time. However, due to the heat and my limited time recently, we decided to make a reservation and give it a try. Honestly, we had a good time. We played a game against each other that was a bit like bowling, where you earn points based on where you hit the ball. We played three rounds of that game, as well as another one that was designed to mimic playing at Pebble Beach. Unfortunately, the more realistic game didn't appeal to us golfers, as we couldn't get a true sense of the flag's location, among other factors. We made a 90-minute reservation, but they literally shut everything down right at the 90-minute mark, which was disappointing because one of our group still needed to hit four more balls to finish the game properly. They offer clubs that you can use, or you can bring your own. The clubs provided have a peculiar feel, but they are easy to hit, which is likely their intention. The facility has three floors of bays. Some bays feature high tables while others have couches with tables. I'm not sure how to reserve each type, but I'm glad we got the couches instead of the high tables. I thought we would avoid the heat by going in the morning, but the way the bays are oriented, they actually get full sun during that time. As a result, you cannot use the screen at the mat because the sun shines directly on it. I would recommend going around noon or later to get more shade, especially during the summer months. As for the four-star rating, I have to mention a $12 per person fee for first-time visitors. While I understand it's a one-time charge, it still feels a bit off. I'm impressed with the technology, and I'm sure I will return in the summer months when I want to escape the heat for five hours. The place does show some wear; the couch cushions could use a refresh. We did not try any food or drinks, but a quick glance at the menu revealed prices that I found a bit high. I did see ads for what appeared to be a good family deal for just $170 during the summer, which would be a bargain. The mini-golf course on the main level needs some attention; it's uneven and not flat. Additionally, there are some issues with the main entrance due to road construction on Burnet, which would have been nice to know about before we arrived.

I didn't realize it until I was almost there, so I had to make a U-turn and head back home, which put me a bit behind. By the time I arrived, everyone was already checked into the Topgolf system. One of my friends asked me to play for her, and luckily, I won the first game...great start! I followed that up with a second-place finish in the next round, which wasn't too shabby either. Another game and I dropped to the bottom portion of the screen. Our area was on the first floor about mid-field. The open air, covered golf session was enjoyable. It had all of the potential in the world, but was a big let down. Fast forward 730 days or so, and the Wisconsin Cheese Head wasn't even on the menu anymore. Was it because of my review? I'd like to think so. (It was not.) But my eyes immediately went to the Cowboy burger, which was a BBQ burger - something that will pretty much get me every time. It was a significant upgrade and worthy of an updated review +1 star. The fries were just ok, but the burger was excellent. Unfortunately some other people at the table were not as happy with their orders (loaded nachos, other burgers), but mine was really enjoyable and it's my review, after all. We did not indulge, but the milkshakes that some other tables around us ordered were so hilariously large. Like, nearly the size of some of the kids who ordered them. First of all, our server had such a poor attitude. She seemed like she couldn't be bothered to exert herself to even speak at an audible volume. She never checked on us after the food came. I saw her just standing around up front by the host while our water glasses were all empty and we needed a couple of other things. There were three empty tables around us with finished meal trash piled up on them when we were first seated and they remained that way the whole time we were there. It's as if there was no one managing the staff at all and the staff couldn't have cared less about providing competent service. As for the food, everyone that ordered burgers seemed surprised that it was two patties. Not sure if they just didn't read the menu closely enough or if it literally didn't say that. The burger tasted fine but no one really wanted double patties. The French fries were crisp and tasty. We also ordered onion rings which were good. Grandson ordered the kids grilled cheese and it was barely grilled, appeared totally white and the cheese was only partly melted with some hard pieces still inside. He only ate a few bites of it. I ordered the chef salad with dressing on the side. So it was undressed -- except for the tomatoes which were coated in something. It was weird and kind of grossed me out to have slimy tomatoes on an undressed salad. I have no idea what that was. I removed all the "crunchy stuff" which I am also not sure of the substance. I wouldn't recommend it. The cost of the meal was pretty shocking. There were 3 adults and 2 kids, no alcohol, no dessert and only 1 order of onion rings as an appetizer. It was almost $200 after tip. I would not come back here. Very depressing atmosphere with poor service, surrounded by dirty tables.
