I have been paying the bill in a traditional way - handing my check to the delivery man in person. Unfortunately, I missed the delivery man for a few months. My unpaid bill was $141.00 including late fee. Finally I decided not to pay my bill in a traditional way and I called to pay my bill with credit card today. I found they already sold my account to collection company. Collection agenct told me to pay $450. Sparkletts refused to take the cooler back and charged me $170.00 for the cooler. If I could give zero stars that's what I would do. We live on a narrow street in the hills and a Sparkletts delivery truck caused some minor damage to our fence nearly 3 months ago. I waited patiently for their service to get back to me which he eventually did. And then the guy completely disappeared one day after I spoke with a Sparkletts driver who was looking at the damage (obviously at the behest of his boss). He said he didn't think it was their truck. Ok. Thanks chief. How about we take the word of the guy across the street who saw the Sparkletts truck do the damage rather than the guy who works for the company that doesn't want to repair the fence? How does that sound? Needless to say I got a call from the company today (almost 3 months later) and they're denying the claim. So I'm making it my duty to have this fence repair which would maybe cost $300 maximum, cost Sparkletts a LOT more than that. its no surprise they have such poor reviews, dismal customer service. first they kept bringing and charging me for more water than I ordered, then when i canceled service they kept delivering and they refused to take it back saying it was a food product. when i refused to pay for deliveries i didn't want, they added late charges. As you can see by all the yelps you should not call Sparkletts for water service. We called and the water was delivered however the cooling tower was not on the delivery. We call and they said next week for the cooling tower. Your best bet in the future is to purchase a water filter from Home Depot and have it installed. Awful company for service. read more

I'd like to add to the negative reviews here as my company has water service through Sparkletts and the SERVICE is TERRIBLE. It never fails, EVERY month there is something wrong, whether it's billing, delivery/pick-up issues; it's ridiculous. Customer service is worthless; every time I call all they can do is send notes to our route manage and we never hear back from anyone. We recently called several times to have our delivery date changed permanently and it was changed for one month and then went back to the original day. Also recently I had to call twice to schedule pick up of empty bottles and when the driver came to pick up he mentioned we changed our delivery and it was inconvenient for them, he just got a ticket that day as he was picking up and when we suggested we might have to look for services elsewhere he said, "yes, you should do that, that would be good.". What the heck kind of service is that, Sparkletts??!?!?!?! This company really needs to get it together; they are in the customer service business and they have no idea what customer service means. If you are in the market for services, looks elsewhere, there are plenty of other companies out there. read more

This place. Wow. Lets just say the constant billing errors. Or the add on's when you don't request it. My bill was constantly off and they always kept bringing extra bottles. At one point I had 6 bottles at my home. I only was suppose to be getting 2. And then when you call they are kind and sweet and always tell you that they are going to make a note of that and pass it on. I will never know if that happened. And then to cancel is the hardest thing I was on hold and transferred around for almost two hours. I remember clear as day it was July 17 and I drove from Los Feliz to LAX and back and was still on hold. So to cancel was not to hard once you get an actual person. Now the pick up of your machine and water containers. This is the fun part. 4 times they missed pickup. I kept calling and back to remind them and then they put me on hold and spoke to a manager then they had to call a route manager out on the field. Every time they confirmed pickup they asked for my cell and email saying I would be advised that they were on there way to pick up machine and containers. Nothing happened. Not so happy with sparkletts. Go my own water filtration kit and I am happy as can be. Plus picked up the same machine they rented to me at Home Depot for 90 bucks, And it is not noisy like theirs. read more

Sparkletts messed up my account, doesn't deliver water and then expects payment for fuel charges! My charges are always billed to my credit card. But recently they sent me a postcard saying my account is overdue. I try calling. Busy. I try for a couple of days. Always busy. I send several requests online asking for someone to call me back. No response. I keep calling. I finally manage to get through on Wed 8/5/15. I ask why my charges are no longer billed to my credit card; I give them my credit card info again. I tell them I mailed a check on Monday. Next delivery is scheduled for the following Monday. I ask if it's best to charge the balance to my card or if the mailed check is enough. I'm told check is ok. Well... Monday comes; they pick up the empty bottles but do not leave me the 2 bottles I requested. So again I'm trying to call. It takes several tries but I finally get through. And here's the kicker: even though this whole mess is not my fault and I've wasted time on the phone, I am told I have to pay the energy surcharge because they did come out to pick up the empty bottles. Time to cancel service. October 2015 - Update: I voiced my concerns to Headquarters and the regional manager. They were surprisingly understanding and very helpful. Problems were solved. I recently had to approach the regional manager with an unrelated issue and again, he was extremely helpful. So, for now I've decided to stay with Sparkletts. read more

This is the worst service I've ever spent my money on I haven't had water all month. The customer service reps need training on how to deal with customers and complaints as a matter of fact the need to be trained on company policy as well as customer service overall . I didn't receive my water deliver when I called in I was told my account was locked due to non payment which I thought was paid especially when I received a courtesy call stating I would get my deliver . When I called in to see what the problem was a rep by the name of Diane pretty much told me to get over it my deliver was cancelled. I asked well why didn't anyone notify me . She said , I shouldn't have been scheduled that soon to receive water after a lock out , she don't know why I was schedule in the first place and that they don't deliver water in my area on Friday . I spoke to a supervisor who explained they couldn't get me any water until my next deliver date which was 5 days away. I was upset but I accepted that. On my regular deliver date I still didn't get any water so I called in again , first I was told that at my request a hold was placed on my delivery once I explained he situation and said a manger confirmed this order. I was told, oh someone in our office accidentally pressed the cancel button so you didn't receive water again ( it was probably rude ass Diane ) so they set me up another date for Thursday I come home today guess what no water I call again . I was told your delivery is cancelled , I ask the question again why wasn't I notified the rep stated we apologize we can get you a deliver tomorrow which is a Friday I reminded them well you said I didn't get water last Friday because you don't deliver in my area on Friday I was told they do and I would get one tomorrow . Now I understand why my job cancelled the contract with them mind you I work at an outline clinic for a major hospital . Let the record show that sparkletts is the worst water service ever you be better off tugging water home from the grocery store. To whom it may concern, After 4 years of ordering water from your Company, today I canceled my service with you. I have never had worst customer service in my life. I have had a broken water dispenser for a week. We called on monday to have someone come out the person on the phone told me that they will have someone come out the next day tuesday came and went. I call Tuesday afternoon they told me that someone was coming on Wednesday and Wednesday came and went no one came. I called on Wednesday afternoon and someone told me that they would be here on Thursday and again Thursday came and went and no one showed up. When we signed up they said delivery would be every week, but when the sales rep came to the house to drop off the first delivery he said delivery would be every two weeks, and then when the regular driver who would be delivering came for the next delivery he said delivery will be once a month. Where do I start? Sparkletts has been charging me since February $17.90 rental for a cooler we do not have. Since February I have paid $126.61 and received not a single water delivery! I have called their customer service number more than 5 times and each time they tell me they will fix the situation, send us some water right away and credit my account for what we were mistakenly billed, but it never happens. The worst part of my experience is that not only has this issue not been fixed, when I called them today, they told me my account was delinquent, and frozen. Each time I have asked to speak with a supervisor or a manager, but they are never available and can only call you back after 72 hrs. It would be ok if they actually called back, but they never do. Super waste of time! Such an incredibly easy situation to fix, and it is beyond comprehension how a company as large as Sparkletts can be in business with such horrible customer service as this. I had to give this horrible company one star because it makes you give it a star. It honestly deserves ZERO stars for the lack of follow through. Costco should be a shame of themselves for allowing such a dishonest company to sell their merchandise. To put it simply, the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing. The customer service department is not capable to help with a change if even if they want to get it done. Sparkletts Corporate has tied the hands of their service department. zero rating for sparkletts. we requested for our water dispenser to be replaced a month ago and up to now, no word from them and whats going on. our dispenser got broken, the water is leaking on the carpet floor. i called sparkletts friday again and tell them what happened and told me they will send someone on monday to replace or fix it. again no one show up, no call, no update at all. we dont have water in the office. we have a mangers meeting and we wasnt able to use our water dispenser. instead we bought bottled water. i called and followed up them and they told me someone will come on monday..again no body showed up. i called them tuesday and told me it was resechedule on friday.. what??? no body even bothered to let us know and re-scheduling it with out confirming with us. up to now, no calls from them and our water dispenser is not working. very very poor customer service sparkletts. read more
