HORRIBLE customer service! One star is still too much! Extremely frustrated with this company. They know nothing about good customer service or appreciation. Calling the customer service line is a complete waste of time. I went online to schedule a delivery and even received an email confirmation that my water would be delivered the next day. My water was NOT delivered! I had to call customer service 4 times just to be given a lame excuse regarding the reason the water was not delivered. There was no sense of urgency, on their end, in getting the matter resolved. I see I will have to take my business elsewhere, where customers are appreciated! read more

Spoke to a supervisor and they were supposed to have the route manger call me and they never did! They offered me free two water bottles, but doesn't do me any good if I don't have any equipment! I've had Sparklets for a long time, and finally decided to write a review. Sparklets is really great water, so my review is going to be on the one that delivers my water, Edgar, and the customer service representatives at DS Water. In both cases I'm fortunate. Edgar's the best. I put my bottles out at night, and he usually beats me in getting new bottles to me. If the delivery isn't here after 8am, I get concerned, thinking that something happened to him. I told him today that he does a great job. And those customer service representatives at DS water are wonderful. They never forget that the person on the other end of the phone is a human being. Their courtesy, and care is simply wonderful. Even the website is great. There are times when I want a sparkling water. Guess what? They've got it. Coffee, and tea too. And so many other things. I feel kind of bad about writing a bad review since they have been great up until now. Here's what's happened. They missed my delivery on April 17th. Wasn't a huge deal because I went out of state on the 18th, and I figured it would be here by the time I got back on the 21st. Nope. I called on the 22nd and they said they would escalate my delivery and it would be here on the 23rd. It was never delivered, so I called again on the 24th. They said they would escalate the delivery again. It never arrived, so I called again on the 25th. I was told that a lot of the drivers were out sick and that's why water wasn't getting delivered. She said she called the route manager and assured me that I would have my water within an hour. It never arrived, so I can only assume that was a lie. I called again today, the 26th, and was told that they had run out of water. They have now assured me that my water will be delivered on the 29th. That's almost TWO weeks after it was supposed to be delivered. We drink a lot of water at my house. Between three of us, we go through 20 gallons every two weeks. I have degenerative disc disease and it's important for me to stay hydrated, which is a huge reason why I like using Sparkletts water and dispenser. The water is delicious and convenient for when I need it, and it also doesn't have all of the impurities and chlorine that tap water does. I can understand being a few days behind on deliveries but two weeks is a little ridiculous. They haven't even offered a discount on my next delivery, which would be nice, considering I've been having to buy water at a more expensive price since April 19th! read more

Customer service representatives and supervisors have very poor customer service and attitudes, asked for corporate phone number they don't have it. RIDICULOUS POLICY DURING COVID-19! Signed up for Sparkletts at Costco. Gave the rep my debit card and signed up for the service. The rep said my account would be debited automatically during their regular billing cycle. I was getting bombarded with too many water bottles so I called the rep and asked that he hold off on more deliveries until I could get thru a few of the bottles I already had. A few weeks later I got a call from collections! The rep said that my account had NOT been debited and my payments were past due. I had no idea that I was not being debited because I didn't know if their billing cycle was weekly, monthly, or quarterly since I was a new customer. I told her to charge the original card that I had given to the costco rep since nothing had changed. She didn't have it, so I wanted to do my own research to be sure I wasn't being scammed for card information over the phone. I called back a week later after finding the collection company legit and paid the bill to reinstate my service. I called Sparkletts today to renew my service. I'm super concerned about not having clean bottled water due to COVID-19 concerns and having kids in the house. Sparkletts REFUSED to reinstate my service due to my account going into collections. I advised them that this was their fault, I had no clue why they hadn't charged my card or sent me ANY notices before this! The first I heard of the situation was when collections called me and I handled the matter quickly! I spoke with two supervisors and a rep....they refused to reinstate saying this was their policy not to reinstate when accounts go into collections unless it was an error on THEIR part. I told them it WAS an error on THEIR part and that I paid my bill and want to reinstate my service. I mentioned the current COVID-19 environment; that companies such as this would seem to be flexible and lenient in this situation ESPECIALLY SINCE IT WAS NOT MY ERROR! I paid my bill as soon as I found out about the situation that THEY created and to please reinstate my services. Sparkletts said their "policy" says NO. The cooler is being picked up on 4/13. I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am. A product so critical in today's pandemic environment, I can't even pay to have clean bottled water delivered to my family, due to SPARKLETTS error!! This should be illegal, especially if they are looking for stimulus help!! I certainly won't sign up for ANYTHING like this again at Costco or anywhere else. read more

NEVER AGAIN -- Signed up for water delivery service through Costco -- could not keep up with the amount of water that was being delivered. Finally decided to just discontinue the service. Scheduled pick up of the dispenser and remaining water bottles in November. Tried to pay the bill when I called and the representative told me to wait until equipment was picked up to get a "final bill". The dates they gave me for pick up - no one ever showed up -- have scheduled 5 times now to this point. I always called on the day pick up was supposed to take place and told they would text the route manager and have them call me to let me know when they would be here -- no call ever received. In mid-December received an automated call that my account would be serviced the next day (water delivery) and I called to check on status of account and when pick up of equipment would happen - was told they could no longer help me that the account had been sent to COLLECTIONS??!! Tried calling collections number - they had no information on my account -- called Sparklett's back and was given an "In house" collections number to call. Spoke to them and was told would be called back the next day to reinstate account so final payment could be made and account could be closed. No call back received. Tried calling all numbers again today to try to get this resolved and cannot get in touch with ANYONE that can do ANYTHING to help. I am now going to try to load the dispenser and remaining bottles in to my car to deliver back to them... CUSTOMER SERVICE has been TOTALLY LACKING and I would not ever recommend anyone signing up for service with this company... has been nothing short of a nightmare. Another missed delivery from Sparkletts. called twice with no help from customer service. They say they can't call their drivers they can only text them so they have no idea if he will even show up. So on top of paying for their water we now have to go buy other water since they don't show up on time. Been a business customer for almost 5 years, no issues until recently upgraded to the more expensive coffee and water machine... Several deliveries in a row, no coffee Charges every two weeks for extra coffee and items not delivered Finally the bill got out of hand with bogus charges I called customer service 4 weeks ago A nice lady went through the charges and from a 500 dollar balance 40 percent was determined to be non delivered items, she told me the bill would be adjusted and to call back in a few days while a route manager approves it. I call back several days later expecting to pay the adjusted bill of 300 dollars and resume service They tell me the account is in collections and refer me to another company A collection guy tells me to pay the 300 and would send it back to sparkletts for reinstatement I pay the 300 plus a fee and the guy says it should be no problem it was in collection for 2 days as I called them before they reached out. Guess what? Back and forth with sparkletts for another two weeks after they already received the 300 and my account is paid in full, just need a reinstatement to be approved call back again... They deny the reinstatement and I'm back in collections for the cooler now for 240 bucks, unbelievable! Seriously, I wasted a month of my time instead of running my business, paid every penny owed and your customer service has been running me back n forth over a simple matter.. if this doesn't get resolved soon I will start counting damages to my business and refer to my attorney. read more

The water is good, but the customer service needs work. Tony, my delivery driver called me to give me grief about cancelling my Tuesday delivery to reschedule it to the following Thursday when I return home from a trip. He literally said "Why do you keep doing that! You are making my life difficult!" I was shocked why he would even call me to tell me that! This was 2 occasions when I went out of town and didn't want the water sitting out in the hot sun so I rescheduled to when I would return home. I didnt want to be rude and remind him what his job is, not to mention that rescheduling delivery is literally an easy option on their website. The 2nd time he called me, I just sucked it up and said sorry but I wasn't trying to make it difficult for him, I was just on vacation, but he had the nerve to give me an attitude, so I said fine, I'll just buy bottled water when I get back until it's convenient for him to make his delivery the following week. I didn't even understand his response, he was really upset on the phone. I was so confused! I can't see why he was so upset with me. And this bad behavior happened twice when I was out of town. I am actively looking for a different water delivery in my area if they can't find the way to switch drivers. It's unacceptable to treat your customers that way, I just feel bad for everyone else who works hard for the company to have to lose customers because of 1 person. read more

Terrible service. Absolutely terrible. One of their drivers quit a month and a half ago -- and they STILL haven't found anyone to replace him on his route -- SO I HAVEN'T RECEIVED WATER IN A MONTH. Every time I'd call to ask for water, they'd tell me that it seems like my scheduled delivery date was bumped -- but nothing in the notes to why. Then i was told the issue would be "escalated". A month later and still, no water. Two scheduled deliveries missed. Four additional deliveries missed. We ran out of bottles five days ago and have been purchasing water from the store. Ridiculous. Why have a subscription water delivery service if you have to go buy water from the store. To top it off, they've already cashed payment and accounts payable hasn't even processed it yet. The lack of communication between departments is awful and causes problems that could easily be avoided if they did their jobs correctly. My biggest annoyance though? Then on Wednesday February 2 our monthly delivery date, no delivery, nor Thursday, nor Friday. 5 usless, aggravating phone calls to customer service in Florida, we are in CA, and not one follow up call from any manager. We originally signed up with sparkletts because they were advertising at Costco $1 a month to rent a water cooler and $6 for every bottle delivered sounded great! Until the delivery date came... On wednesday june 8th, 2016 at 3:47pm i was called to schedule an appointment. I scheduled it for today, monday, she gave me a time window of 8am to 12pm. Ridiculous window but whatever. 8am to 12pm came and went so i called was told they would notify the driver, a half hour passed, called again was told "No, the window is 8am to 3pm" thaaats ridiculous! 7 hours? Youve gotta be kidding me. By 2pm call again get told the delivery window is now 8am to 5pm, really my whole work day?! I ask to speak to a supervisior get told that I can't, oh really? So I escalate and demand to speak to one get put on hold for 20 minutes and then it hangs up. I never speak to a supervisor. During my calls with "customer service" I was told the following lies. They have a shortage of employees and can't have better time windows (why the hell would you vend at costco then?!) (Received notice 4 hours before my surprise water delivery, couldn't put out my empties, and delivery personnel didn't even bother to knock on my door. Rude. I had no issues with the driver, but my issue is with their customer service and also the fact that they sent my account to collections without any type of notice received. I've used the service for over 5 years now without any issues, I had changed to estatements since they charge an extra $2 for paper statements. Back around July, I stopped receiving estatements only to realize they had been filtering to my junk mailbox. Here we are now in November and I get a collections statement from CBA. It was not my intent to not pay for the $6.99 bottle I receive per month, but honestly it slipped my mind. I am more irritated after speaking with the CBA representative by the name of Bruce. I asked about how to get my account paid and reinstated and he said "well it's too late for that. You need to find a different water delivery service". Really?! I honestly felt bad for not having the auto debit setup which spiraled into the current situation but still on their end, they have extremely poor and unprofessional customer service. read more

I've had sparklettes for only 6 months. Their product is fine and I have no complaints in that area. My problem is with the delivery services. They have failed twice in the last month to deliver me any water on my day. They even delivered across the street to my neighbor but skipped me. I am not behind on the bill they just didn't do it. Now I'm completely out of water again and and because it's Friday I have to wait until Monday to get my water. Unacceptable! The whole point of Sparklettes is to have the water delivered. I have never had such a poor experience. I cancelled my service 2 months ago. I have called customer service 8 times spending over 20 minutes each time trying to get someone to pick up the leased cooler. I have been rescheduled 7 times. The last time, I was on the phone for over 45 minutes. The customer service rep could not get my local branch to answer her call about when they could pick up my cooler. I offered to drop off the cooler myself and they couldn't even tell me the address of the local branch. Customer service rep said she didn't know and couldn't look up the address. I've been told the local branch has been emailed twice, attempted to be reached by phone by customer service and no response. The worst part? I'm still being charged the rent for the damn cooler. I'm moving in a month. I just hope Sparkletts picks it up before then. read more

I have never dealt with a more poorly run company. I had to cancel my company's existing service with them after over 10 years of dealing with Sparkletts. We had a series of events amount to one awful month. It began when our usual delivery was shorted leaving our employees with no bottled water to take out with them on sites everyday. The delivery was suppose to come back two days later and after a week of no calls, or emails explaining the lack of delivery, we had enough and cancelled our service. We had a pickup delivery schedule for that Friday and low and behold after two weeks, and four phone calls Sparkletts once again has not performed what they promised. I use to love this company. I use to live in Corona and I never had any issues with them whatsoever. Well when I moved to Riverside the crap show began. I either get no delivery because either his truck broke down or he once told me that he had too many ppl to deliver to and wait another two weeks or another time he told me I can't order extra water wait till my scheduled delivery.
