I am saddened by the response from the company to my review which has now caused me to downgrade my review to one star (zero would be my preference). It is a sad commentary when a business does not take responsibility for the problems they cause and instead try to blame the customer and make remarks like, "we shouldn't have taken the job" or "we were just too accommodating". Your workers were unreasonable, behaved poorly, wasted time trying to drag out the work, and they did a sub-par work. You have proven that your tactic is to try and coerce customers into paying more and not honoring your agreement. I suspected this from the moment you called me 20 minutes after your workers arrived telling me your workers said it was more work than they anticipated and you tried to force me into paying more money. I thought it was you trying to bilk more money because that is your company's approach. I refused and told you I had contracted for 2 hours worth of work and 2 hours only. When I wouldn't fall for your tactic of trying to get me to extend the time, instead of taking responsibility to honor your price and get paid what you quoted, you are trying to blame me for your dishonorable behavior. Shame on you for trying to cheat people. There was a small kitchen and a very small bathroom to do. Your workers couldn't even manage to handle that amount of work in 2 hours. In addition, your lead worker was rude and caused me a great deal of stress. There was no reason for her to yell at me or be disrespectful and then over-the-top escalate the stress and call 911. Of course 911 told her to leave, but she wouldn't and wanted to stay and yell at me some more. It was ridiculous and I really would have been able to have a good laugh at the nonsense if I wasn't so upset & having to pay for this. I will conclude and say to you Sparkling Clean, you did not leave anything sparkling clean. I was too accommodating by eliminating tasks to try and work with you and getting 1 hour of effort for the price of almost 2 hours. I guess I should not have given YOU the job and as soon as you called me 20 minutes after your workers arrived, I should have canceled your services and found someone with integrity. This was for a move out. They didn't show up at the agreed upon time which was very inconvenient for me and my daughter. I reached out to the Manager and he did take charge and made things happen. These guys don't answer their phones or text back at all. I tried for over a week to get monthly cleaning setup and as of this review have not heard back from them. The cleaning they did do was fine but not perfect. Leaving minor damage on my walls and wires for my electronics unplugged and tangled. Sometimes you just need help. Had a schedule constraint of a certain day and they confirmed availability and were communicative right until the crew showed up. They left the place perfect. They also bill at the end of the job, which I tend to prefer over flat-rates as they're at least incentivized to go until the job is done, and my total came in lower than most flat-rates quotes. read more

Absolutely amazing! One of the best cleaning service experiences we've had. We hired two cleaners, for 2 hours, so four man hours. We have a large master bath with separate soaking tub and shower, a full size guest bath, and a .75 bath downstairs that we asked them to clean in addition to cleaning the stovetop and oven and microwave, wipe down the counters and mop the kitchen (hardwood) and living room (LVP). We weren't sure they were going to be able to do it all in the time allotted. They were still cleaning when I thought they would just say 'okay, that's time' like a previous cleaner did, but no, she said they would finish everything. They were wiping down the cabinets, and the fridge when I was about to leave the house with my toddler, and she told me don't worry, if I needed to leave it's no problem and they would finish. Came home and they had finished everything including vacuuming the hallways. The oven looks like it's brand new inside. I can't believe how clean it is! We will definitely be hiring them again to clean. My baby is due soon and there's no way I'll be able to care for a newborn, chase after a toddler and keep this house tip top, so I'm happy to know there's a reliable company out there to call to help with the needed deep cleans. read more

There are 2 things I hate more than most anything: dusting and vacuuming. Combine that with my 12 hour work days, my spouse who has chronic pain, and 3 furry pets, and you get the need to find a house cleaner. I got quotes from a few different places and Sparkling Kleen was mid-range, and had good Yelp reviews. Sparkling Kleen was very communicative over Yelp message. I got an estimate, scheduled a cleaning, and figured out how to pay all over the messaging system. They accept Venmo payments which is so convenient! When the 2 cleaners got here, they worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned our 3 bedroom, 2 bath house in under 3 hours. The total bill was $192ish. And my visiting mother walked in a few days later and exclaimed at how good the house looks, and how proud we must be. We eventually we told her that we hired house cleaners and she was like "I knew it!" I'm thankful for the hard work the cleaners did, and will definitely be using their services again. read more

Was a bit of a leap of faith - but their rates are competitive, that I figured worse case they get half the job done, and I can finish the rest, it would still be worth it.
