    Let me first start telling you about Mr. sparkly space "Sam." With a half assed job that was done I can honestly say beware of this company they do not know what their doing. I asked for a deep cleaning and that's a no-brainer of what to do being they are the cleaning service and I am the client. What a difference pictures make. I would not recommend this company or service to anyone. They are so unprofessional that they didn't even have somebody come to view my house and visually look at the square footage although And see what my needs were. I did tell them a deep cleaning. Instead a five-year-old could've done a better job at the service that was rendered. Again, do not be fooled by stars like I was. In essence if I could give them NO stars then I would.

    Hired Sparkly Space to clean up a newly renovated ADU. They advertised thru Thumbtack that they do after construction cleaning, which means there is an expectation of a lot of dust. The place is vacant, has all the appliances including a used stove & fridge which I had already started cleaning the insides of. No furniture. The ladies worked fast and thoroughly but not efficiently. At the end of 2 1/2 hours of cleaning 900 sf of hardwood and porcelain tile flooring, 10 windows inside and out, all the windows were streaked and a damp film was on the new washer and dryer. They advised me to do a walk through as their time was up. I asked what they had used to clean the windows since all of them were streaked. They said wet and dry cloths. I informed them the best thing to use to get the streaks is paper towel as I proceeded to wipe them myself and asked if they would help wipe them all down w/the paper towels b4 they left. Alondra proceeded to call her boss while she and Angelica went to the front of the property. The boss Al called me and asked what did I say to his employee, that she was crying, that she has worked there for two years and never once cried. He proceeded to counsel me on how to respond to newcomers in my home. I interjected and let him know I did use a firm tone but I was not mean, as I wanted them to understand I was not going to pay more because they did not use the proper tools for the job! Neither of them even had a razor blade or small brush. Who cleans after renovation without hand vacuums, brushes and of course paper towels. As Al & I spoke the ladies took off. I did not even have an opportunity to thank them and tip them as I would have had they only stayed and wiped down the streaks and the film. It is unfair and unreasonable to the housekeepers to be expected to do a thorough and fair job in 5 hours or in this case 2 1/2 hours each for the 2 of them. Why advertise a specialty and not be properly prepared? A good thorough cleaning takes at least 8 hours. The ladies arrived to the unit before I did and let themselves in. When I arrived, I approached the property, I could hear water running, it continued to run as I walked approximately 25 feet downstairs, into the unit where I see one of the ladies scrubbing the shower while the water is running in the sink. I asked why, she stated she was rinsing the rag. I explained there are plugs for the sink, right next to where the water is running, that filling the sink with water is best, not running it while you scrub the shower next to it. Al stated he would credit me $50 since I was unhappy and they would never clean for me again. I truly would have preferred them to wipe away the streaks and the damp film. I would have tipped them and all would be ok. I later found the bottom of the oven was not even touched. And the very next day I can see a film over the entire 700sf of wood flooring. The original estimate was $180. I agreed to $265 for thorough "After Renovation Cleaning", which I did not receive. I did receive the $50 credit Al stated he would give me, the very next day. Sending your girls out with the right tools and allowing them at least 30 -45 minutes to wrap up a job would pay off well for all involved and end unnecessary drama.

    Set up an appointment through Sparkly Space via text. Was told my needs would not be an issue and that I had found the right business for the job. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I don't trust businesses that request payment prior to service and thanks to Sparkly Space I never will again. $300+ to have my entire home cleaned. Spent 4 hours on my kitchen of the 6hrs I paid and left my counters filthy. Mopped the floor despite my instructions to leave the floor alone as it is in need of repair. Threw away good food in my fridge but didn't bother to actually wipe it down or disinfect it. When I called the company the owner made a ton of excuses, then proceeded to blame me for a misunderstanding that had really nothing to do with the issue at hand. I was refunded for the hours not worked yet told that's why the job was only done to the degree it was. The cleaner they sent over seemed spacey and a bit out of it and didn't really understand what I or my partner was asking for. Overall, bad experience and I would never hire them again.

    From start to finish this was an excellent experience. It couldn't have been an easier process and I really appreciated the level of professionalism. My house was left spotless and most definitely sparkly! You really get what you pay for. The name is well representative of the quality of their work. If on the fence between a few places, I wouldn't heist to choose Sparkly Space - your home & dirt will not regret it! The housekeeper was very friendly and comforting. I will be coming back for more!

For context, this was a 4-hour deep clean for my one bedroom apartment that included baseboards, organizing, and even laundry. I have a shihpoo who demands a lot of attention, so keeping up with deep cleaning can sometimes get away from me. When I say they saved my life, I'm not exaggerating. Kizzy and Alice absolutely delivered. They cleaned my apartment top to bottom. Baseboards, surfaces, floors, everything. They even did my laundry which was such a huge help. I stepped out to run errands while they worked and came back about four hours later to an apartment that felt completely reset. The space looked amazing and felt so much lighter. Beyond the quality of the cleaning, they were also just lovely people. Polite, helpful, respectful of my space, and they even gave my dog some love while they were here. They took all the trash with them when they left which I really appreciated. From the quick scheduling with Alex to the incredible work from Kizzy and Alice, this was such a great experience. If you're in the South Bay and need a deep clean, VIP Maids is absolutely worth it. Walking back into my apartment afterward honestly felt like a reset.
