The owner/manager is great at taking money for their "services", and increasing the costs of their "services" without having really provided such. The owner makes certain that the board (most likely consisting of elderly and un-informed victims) follows his impulses to have "his contractors" do the job. When requests were finally made for multiple bids, it was strange that he insisted (on a group call) giving "his guy" another chance to change his price. The point of gaining multiple bids is to secure the best candidate at the best price. Cammarata then brought back a revised the bid to be $1.00 less than what should have been the winning bid. When it comes to needing help to resolve an issue that is within the community, he rarely responds to his clients. He is haughty, arrogant and condescending and I would not consider using this company ever. P.S. I feel sorry for those who have entrusted their homes to this company. Most of the reviews here have been pretty accurate and true to what our community went through before a new Board finally fired Cammarata.

Hands down,…read morethe JRealty team was the most enjoyable to work with, and inevitably where we've chosen to make our next home. We visited 2 communities, contacted the corporate office several times, and ran through the application process as well. Dylan is stellar-- by far the easiest person I've worked with from application to approval. He is extremely prompt, diligent, kind and knowledgeable. We were showed homes by Bruce and Daniel who were both wonderful as well. Definitely experts on their respective properties and genuinely care about their communities and residents. It's apparent JRealty is fair, and quality in the scheme of landlord of the South Bay. Highly recommend based on our experience so far.

I've spent 6 months trying to resolve a parking issue at one of JRealty's properties, and the…read moreexperience has been incredibly frustrating. Management admitted in writing that another tenant was given a second parking space in error on their lease. They also admitted they recommended removing that space because it was causing problems. The vehicle associated with this improperly assigned parking space occupies an area that is not identified as a parking spot on the parking map that was provided to me by management. Instead of being parked in a designated space, the vehicle extends into the common driving and maneuvering area tenants must use to access their assigned parking spaces causing daily risk damage to my vehicle. Whats even more revealing about this company is how the issue was handled! I repeatedly raised concerns that the parking arrangement could present code, safety, or fire access issues. Rather than addressing the problem directly, I was told management was waiting on city inspection results and that those results could affect the outcome. Months later, I was informed that the inspection they had me waiting for was actually a habitability inspection and that the specific parking location I had been complaining about was not one of the spaces that was evaluated. Think about that! I was led to believe the inspection would address my complaint, only to later find out that the disputed parking space had never been reviewed at all. I spent months waiting for inspection results that never actually addressed the parking issue at the center of the dispute. Even after admitting the parking space was assigned in error, admitting the situation was problematic, and acknowledging that the disputed space wasn't evaluated during the inspection, management still has not provided a meaningful solution. I have attached screenshots of the emails so people can read the correspondence and draw their own conclusions. Based on my experience, get everything in writing. Keep every email, save every photograph, and document every interaction. The only reason I was able to uncover the inconsistencies in management's explanations was because I maintained a complete paper trail. Without it, this would have been reduced to my word against theirs.

I lived there for 7 years, and when I first moved in, much of the positive things found in the 5 star reviews was true, however, it's gone downhill, a lot. 1. They raised my rent without giving me notice, then lied to me for a year about applying a rent credit to my account to make up for it. 2. The manager at the time (Mary, not the current manager) forged my signature on a carbon monoxide detector form when I renewed my lease year. I refused to sign it because they weren't in the building but were required by law since my unit sat directly over the parking structure. 3. My upstairs neighbor had a leak in their unit and it damaged my ceiling. As a result, my kitchen light fixture caught fire (was not repaired properly), my ceiling fan brackets rusted and my fan was literally hanging on by 1 bolt for over a year (not repaired while I lived there). Asbestos lining on my ceiling was breaking apart and into my living room and hallway for over a year before management would fix it. My toilet leaked from the base because my bathroom floor was warped so badly that they couldn't fix it (this is a serious violation of tenant rights). Management knew about all of this, my maintenance and manager inspection record reflects it, but they never did anything about properly fixing the problem or compensating me. 4. The manager at the time (Mary, when I first moved in) unlocked my front door and walked into my living room because she didn't realize that my wife and daughter were at home without notice or authorization. 5. The units are infested with roaches, some have had bed bug outbreaks in the past. 6. It's not a non-smoking building, they say there is only a designated smoking area, but people smoke everywhere. 7. They don't enforce leash laws for dog owners and allow large aggressive dogs. I've attached some of the pictures I have, in case someone tries to dispute these claims. Rest assured, I have plenty of proof and documentation of the rest.

The manager, Letty is reliable, attentive and cares about her tenants. If a complaint is made she is on top of it, her professionalism is respectful and friendly. The complex does accept pets which was a huge bonus beings I have 2 dogs. The area is safe and not gang ridden, parking can be a little tricky if you wanna park on the street. So utilize your assigned parking spot. The pool is spotless. Its maintained weekly, without a hitch. Always looks nice and clean. There a little wading pool for the kids, at least I think that's what ot is. Its small and very shallow. I do wish they could replace that with a Jacuzzi though. The gum that is offered is small but it has all the necessary equipment to get a good workout. A television is provided inside the gym. A community bbq is provided for your grilling pleasures. For the most part the neighbors are great. Its a pretty quiet building. Since I've lived her there's been no lefts or loud tenants. No drugs or srunkw everyone I've had contact with has been friendly. Tenanta pick up after their pets and I've heard minimal barking even on the 4th of July. As for rent, its about average for the neighborhood. I can't knock that plus they do accept pets so you need to take that into consideration. I plan on being here far more than 2 years if I have my say in it..
