I understand that this is a very busy season but not a call or email for just an appointment is not good. I do not understand why some companies even offer the option to fill in for a request on their web site. I filled out three other requests and with a day they provided me with an appointment. It's a shame because I liked the puppy sitting with the owner! Update on 07/1 I called again and this time I spoke with Christian who set up an appointment for 7/03 between 1-3pm.

I have also recommended them to several other people for whole house installations. When Stan ran the company it was fantastic. The company has now been bought out by SERVICE EXPERTS. They are a TERRIBLE company. I have scheduled 8 appointments to fix my AC that they installed and is still under warranty and they either can't fix it or simply don't show up. John that was running the UNIONDALE office is a pathological liar and as of 4/28/26 he is fired and the UNIONDALE office has closed. All work is supposedly being handled by FLANDERS SERVICE EXPERTS in HAMPTON BAYS. This location is just as terrible. All customer service is handled by the TEXAS office. CHRIS ANDREWS is the head pathological liar at that location. No matter what he tells you DO NOT believe it. He tells you he will give you his cell # but it's worthless because he will not answer the phone or text back. It seems if the whole SERVICE experts business model is a scam, they are trying to sell maintenance contracts that they have no intention of honoring. My oil burner stopped working when a leak in the plumbing from a bathroom drenched the controller unit for oil burner, I took care of the leak and booked an appointment online for 4 pm on Friday. At 3:15 pm, Marie called and explained that they were overbooked and wouldn't be there till Monday. It would be an all day appointment and I would have to be there.. I told her that wouldn't work for me and I wouldn't pay the 180 deposit to have them show up until I attempted to find someone who can address the issue immediately. I also mentioned that when Flanders installed the unit two years ago that the sales guy stepped through my ceiling when surveying the attic. He assured me that it would be corrected. It's been two years, and despite several phone calls nothing was ever done about the damage. My overall evaluation is that they charge top dollar for mediocre service. My heating system, AC system, and heat pump unit all have done the job fine since installation. But.. they are not customer oriented. I see their overal rating of 2.3 is pretty mediocre. I think based upon my experience, that's right on the money!!

We had a small addition put on our home and had Joe come in to let us know the best way to cool…read morethis area. He recommended we replace our handler and condenser with a larger unit to compensate for the extra room, plus our equipment was nearing the end of it's life cycle age wise. It just constantly felt like it was running to make the house cold. He also added a supply and return in the small addition. We had the system put in during October 2022. Joe and his team are always extremely knowledgeable and a really nice group of people. Joe has an after hours messaging center which is 24 hours, and his team is always well equipped. Joe himself even came out a couple of times to help us with things. We are very pleased with the work and promptness that Joe and his team provide. A very stand up guy who stands behind his work, and has excellent employees! Highly recommended!
