    We love this store and the owners. It's an amazing spot to pick up a birthday card or housewarming…read moregift. They have an eclectic assortment of things from jewelry to hilarious kitchen items. There is a playfulness about everything and I always walk out of there feeling the good vibes. And their gift wrapping is on point! The owners are involved in the community and care about making the South Bay a welcoming space. As a gay family in Hermosa it can feel sometimes like we are the only ones, but when my kids see the rainbows and pride on our usual walk from the beach up Pier Ave, I know we have settled in the right place to raise our family and are so grateful for neighbors like Curious making our little beach community feel like home.

The store is located at the Row DTLA, which is a recently renovated shopping area. I'm generally not a big fan of downtown, but this place was really nice. It felt safe and there was plenty of parking. Overall I would definitely recommend Hightide for stationary shopping.
