This team is incredibly knowledgeable and really easy to talk to. I recently bought a turbo levo and it was a seamless process.

Brought my Cannondale in a couple weeks back and found it needed parts replaced under warranty. They were quick to get the parts in and fitted my bike with the new motor and battery. I've gone on two rides since then and it appears the problem is fixed, so pleased with the outcome. Thanks Mike's Bikes service department!

The Los Gatos shop is about as beautiful and "cool" as a bike shop could possibly be, and the customer service we experienced here is on par with that. Already impressed upon our first visit here, we were completely won over by Gus, the official (or unofficial) mascot of the store and one of the most handsome, adorable and chill Golden Retrievers you've ever seen! My hubby and I popped in last week to check out a mountain bike that he's been eyeing and reading all about. Clay Walker helped us out and honestly was the most helpful, friendly and personable bike shop employee (actually I think his name tag said GM?) we've ever encountered. He helped my husband with all his questions and even let him take the bike out for a spin. You can tell these guys are passionate about bikes, and they were never pushy either. Meanwhile I walked around the entire store and couldn't believe how immaculate it was, how much great gear and merch they have, and how many different types of bikes they have from all the top brands for all ages and riders. We came back the other day to buy that mountain bike, and again the service and experience was exceptional (seriously, thank you Clay!). I never thought I'd be so excited to go back to a bike shop and I wasn't event the one getting a new bike! Plus we got some more time with Gus which was icing on the cake. Hope that pup gets some extra treats as his sales commission (haha). FYI they offer a couple different 5-year maintenance packages for their bikes as well, so they're always in tip-top shape for all your adventures!

It was very cost effective and IMO it works incredibly well for families with growing children. We were going in a last minute trip and I was able to find everything I needed for a very reasonable renting price and just needed to spend a few minutes inside the store. "Best Footwear Experience--Ask for Steve!"…read more I've been to countless running and shoe stores over the years, but my experience at the Campbell Sports Basement was on an entirely different level. If you are looking for new shoes, do yourself a favor and find Steve in the footwear department. His knowledge is genuinely unmatched. He didn't just point me to the newest or most expensive model; he took the time to understand the mechanics of my feet and explain the nuances of every shoe we discussed. He even had me running down the aisles in various pairs to ensure the fit and feel were perfect. It was easily the best customer service I've ever had, better than some shoe speciality shop! To top it off, I found out about their "Love Your Purchase" return policy. It's a total game-changer--knowing I can actually test these out and bring them back if they don't work for my feet gives me so much peace of mind. Between Steve's expertise and the store's return policy, I won't be going anywhere else for my gear.

I'm in the market to buy another bike and my experience with them was great so I wanted to give them my business again. It's so nice to walk into a store and speak with people who understand what good customer service is. It's not just about greeting someone with a smile. It's having the knowledge and experience to answer customer questions, listen to what it is they're looking for and then make recommendations based on the customer's needs. Obviously the team at Hyland left a good impression on me 14 years ago. I'm looking to buy an electric trike now and I'm hopeful that they can help me out or at least point me in the right direction. Now, obviously things can change in 14 years, but Hyland's been around for a long time and that alone is a testament at least to me about the quality of their business. So if you're looking for a bike, definitely go check them out.

Some cases are due to the combination of little issues such as slightly loose derailleur hanger, not tight enough qr, misplaced cassette spacer, slightly bent hanger and so on. With my limited knowledge, I thought my bike with some minor hassle is not fixable. I found Nathan's cycling service shop by accident and wanted to try out. He is such a calm and knowledgeable person. After he heard some issues I have had, he started overall fixes here and there. What a difference! Similar example I can use is that (although I have not tried myself) people benefit from good bike fit may feel this way. You thought you did the right things but only an expert can take you to the last mile. That's what I have experienced with Nathan's service. This is one of the places where I paid more than he asked because 1. I valued his expertise more than he valued himself and 2. He shared his knowledge which I may not be able to get from just watching YouTube clips. Try yourself and be pleased.

Not only did they provide quick turnaround on repairs, but they also exceeded my expectations. Honest and fair service prices. I typically would drive an hour to Monterey for a great bike mechanic that I trusted.... stoked to find Nathan's shop in Campbell. I've also had great service at ABS and Epicenter Cycling in Santa Cruz.

I've bought some great hiking shoes here that were waterproof and currently just got a great jacket that is very lightweight and incredibly warm or at least keeps the wind off of me when I hike. That's why I always like checking there secondhand items first and then coming to the actual store. Great idea!
