I noticed work being done (for over a month) in the house across the street. Late Wed. I was outside watering on my slope when the last two guys were leaving....sure didn't look like construction workers....tight jeans, tennis shoes, wearing cologne, etc.... I asked them what they were doing in the house across the street, and they told me they'd done like almost everything....ducting in the attic, new furnace & a/c, painting, new kitchen, flooring throughout, etc....to the tune of $350,000! I expressed amazement and said I have a couple of things that needed to be done in my house. So, we set an appointment for Thurs. at noon. One guy (Ron) showed up at the set time. We talked, and he walked all thru the house. I asked him how much for a garden window over the kitchen sink. He quoted $4200. I asked him how much for new carpeting for what he claimed was 1394 sq. ft of living space, and he said over $19,000. I said wow....very expensive! He said well, everything's gone up. He did not give me a business card....did not put anything in writing....nothing. Said they were going to finish the job across the street the next day and that these "cheap" prices were only good if I acted right away....because they could get quantity discount since my neighbor had a bunch done. He lied....nobody every showed up next door the next day. He did not call me back the next day....nothing! Way too many red flags! Seemed like scam artists for sure. Never would I consider doing business with an outfit like this! My review for some reason got erased. But it's about time for an update. I had about a 2 page review here previously showing the poor quality of work and describing the horrible company structure this company has. Only after posting this yelp review was someone willing to speak with us about the sinking, uneven pavers. To be fair someone did reach out to us and come look at the issue but was more or less haggling with us about taking down the review if he fixed the problem. I assured him if the problem was fixed then of course I have no problem. No work has been done since our conversation and worst the Rains have now revealed that the entire project isn't graded properly causing flooding. The drains they did install don't drain or work apparently either. The pictures speak for themselves and I added new ones of the flood. UPDATE: They called me the other day apologizing for the incident and said they have placed the 2 said guys on leave as a corrective measure. The gentleman who called said that one of the guys had his car flooded and was not in a good mood that day and should not have went to see customers. They also offered to donate $100 to the local police dept or fire dept in our name to further make up for the incident. He then offered to give me the $100 instead if we preferred. He also requested for me to remove my review. After he was done, I thanked him for reaching out and trying to apologize for the situation that happened a few days before. I told him that if they want to donate to the local PD or FD, that they should, without needing to do it under my name. I declined the cash offer as I didn't want anything to do with them. I also told him that I understand people have bad days, and that's fine, but the experience left a bad taste in our mouth and will not be using their business for any services. Lastly, I told him that I will not be removing my review as I feel that any potential/current customers have a right to know these types of interactions to help their decision-making process. Best I could do was to post and update which is what I am doing now to be fair. Then yesterday, we had someone know on our door again soliciting business with the same company. They mentioned a random name and said they're working on "supposed neighbor's name from right around the corner". We declined this time. Based on everything that's happened, we refuse to do any business with them today and in the future. Buyer beware for sure. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Leaving a review because they were sketchy from the get. Two young men were going door to door ringing doorbells to ask for any ongoing projects. Since we just finished a getting an estimate that very second and we still had our measurements out, we agreed to get a consultation. This guys named Amour asks for our name, address, phone number, and then WHO IS LIVING AT THE HOME, and IF IT WILL JUST BE ME AND MY WIFE AT THE TIME OF THE ESTIMATE. Strange but we brush it off. A few hours later 2 different guys come knocking named Ben and Ron. They do not look like contractors at all - clean tennis shoes, tight pants, jackets, etc. - looks to be salespeople instead. No judgement here since anyone can be anything and can wear anything. So we tell them what we want, show them our sketch, and we ask for a quote. They then said let's go in your house so I can show you some photos and samples. The guy mentioned they worked on my neighbor's yard so I asked to see it. He insisted to go in the house. I've had multiple contractors/companies give me a consultation and none mentioned going inside the house and almost all were able to supply the photos even without us asking to. We asked him to give us a quote based on the measurements and materials we wanted. They insisted to go inside the house again. We then told them that we are still working from home and we won't be done until 8pm so emailing the quote would be best. They then offered to come back at 8pm. ANOTHER RED FLAG. We did not budge so they said yes, we will email but they did not write down our email since they already have it when we signed up for the estimate and when we offered to text our measurements, one of the guys said, oh I already know it. The other guy made an excuse that the other guys is good with memorizing things and then promptly took a photo. They left after. More red flags during the "consultation" 1. One of the guys was texting the whole time of the consultation 2. Never did they write anything down 3. Never did they show any photos of their "work" 4. They never specified the address of the house they worked on but only said the house around the block 5. They were did not care for keeping our measurements 6. They did not park infront of our driveway which had cameras. Please be careful and lookout for these people who are there to scam and take advantage of people. read more

Specialty builders! Let me tell you about Specialty builders. I highly, highly would NOT recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy. This company is a bunch of scam artists and liars. I had used this company to pour me a concrete foundation for a 30'x40' metal building that I had purchased. On day one, they had came to my home so we could go over what i was looking to do, but I am a new home owner and did not have very much knowledge on exactly how to permit the foundation legally on my own, and asked them if they can do that part for me too, they had said "yes we can get the permits for you". I also had given them a copy of the building plans which had the concrete plans. Within 3 days, the concrete was poured, during this time I was out of town for week. When I had asked where are the permits they had told me "we don't get permits" we had a verbal agreement on them permitting it. They also neglected to pour the foundation where i had specified from the property line, and they were off by 4 feet on one side and 7 feet off on the other! Not only did they pour the foundation illegally to where it's garbage and unusable, they shorted the footing by 6 inches with the depth. When I had called and complained about everything that I had happened, they said they can't do anything about it. Since July of 2024, I've had an engineer out to survey the foundation to see if there's any other options for fixing this situation. The professional said it must be demolished. Now I am out $25,000 plus interest on the financing, and I have to demolish this entire foundation. 0 star rating read more

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look them up! This is a very sketchy company that does not respond to any emails, texts, or phone calls. We hired them for landscaping work that was very minimal and should have been completed within 2 weeks. We are currently going on 3 months because of the many many errors in work, and damage to our home. The people they sent to our home were not licensed nor did they speak English. Upon speaking to the workers, I discovered they were only here for work and reside in Mexico. The company owner approached them for hire with absolutely no references or prior landscaping jobs. This is reflected in the work. We have brought all the issues to them but never get callbacks, emails returned, or even just texts. They demanded we sign completion documents when the job wasn't complete and still had mistakes in the turf, pavers, and repairs to the home that were done by the workers. They offer a completion time frame guarantee and did not even come close to this date as promised. I will post additional photos as I plan to take more per the attorney's recommendation read more
