There was no pushiness or sales pressure, just genuine, skillful suggestions and education about the different features available. There are many brands and styles to choose from. I purchased two prescription glasses with Tom Ford frames. They are not inexpensive and I could have shopped around for lower prices but my experience with Bev far outweighed saving a few bucks, and I enjoyed being able to support a local small business.

At this point I consider them more like family than just an optical shop. Mark as well as his adult son, Gennady, are multi- lingual. He has a large customer base of European clients as well as locals. I enjoy listening to Gennady speaking in foreign languages and in an instant change to English. He takes time and care with every client. Everything is custom made with care and attention to detail. This kind of customer service is unheard of anymore and yet the cost is less than any other place in Denver. Gennady sees the value of the human connections and his advertising is the word of mouth from all his satisfied customers.

Over the years the office staff has changed but the service and care is top notch. They have all the current diagnostic machines. They accept all standard insurance plans including VSP. Their in house lab and eyeglass retail space have been served by Julie & Kyle as long as I can remember. They continue a standing policy that you can get your eyeglasses adjusted for free Mon-Fri and Sat till 1pm. They continue to hand out free microfiber cleaning cloths and alcohol cleaning sprays. Free parking around building with handicap ramps. Nice seating area.

I was the…read more"driver" and she was the patient getting her eyes dialated and checked during her annual check-up. Helen is a family friend and my girlfriend has been seeing her for 15 years. I witnessed Helen's caring, knowledge and warmly explained analysis of what and why she is doing all of these tests. She explained her knowledge very well with my girlfriend on changes or constants going on with her eyes. We asked a few questions and Helen answered. She explained that Macular degeneration connects to blood pressure in the eye connecting to background mini eye blood vessel aneurysms and more information that was very helpful. All going on while Helen was using her instruments, scanned, giving instruction on Left or Right, Left or Right.

If this is how they treat paying patients, I won't be returning -- and I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone looking for respectful, professional care.
