This is a 4' X 8' simple shed, vinyl, and I have the pavers and the plywood for the foundation. The manufacturer estimates a 2 to 4 hour job. So $1000 would be a $500-$250 an hour charge! Hoo wee! I spent $900 on all the materials. Others quoted $250-$400 to do the job. Sorry, I can't recommend their handyman services. So take this review as if I went to a store, found that they were charging $16 for a gallon of milk. I didn't buy the milk, but I certainly cannot recommend buying that store's milk. And if you would read the owner's comments to the 1 and 2 star reviews including this one, the tone of his voice is telling. When a business receives a bad rating or review or a customer complaint, it is a great opportunity to make good and create immense good will, not only with the customer in question, but for anyone reading the review and how it was handled. More business owners would do well to learn this lesson. ***UPDATE So the owner then sends me a personal message to further berate me. This is unprofessional and childish behavior. I hardly write any 1 star reviews, but when a business owner is unprofessional, immature, and way overpriced, it leaves me no choice. Be cautious about hiring him. As of 8/28/2025, the cardboard was removed by the owner, Roy who proceeded to explain "it was a quick fix," and the bar was affixed to satisfaction, however the method used to install it to begin with is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the integrity of other completed work in my home. Where others said it couldn't be done or offered solutions that were not tile, Flooring Direct said they could do it. I'll admit that it was a challenge to fully conceptualize how to do it but working with Moji and our installer, Jose, I believe the results justify the effort. The old carpet quickly came out and the initial part of the tile that was straight went in in about two days. Jose spent some time cutting and grinding to get the tiles to match the curving steps but was all finished by the following Friday. Jose and his assistant, Gustavo, were both courteous & professional throughout the project as was Moji who came by often to check on the progress and to be sure we were satisfied with how it was coming together. All the steps from tile selection through scheduling, layout, designing transitions, grout selection and final cleanup, were all pleasant. Would not hesitate to use them in the future and highly recommend them for your consideration.

I asked the owner to replace the section of carpet where the installers spilled something. No, Navid refused. Sleazebag owner operator. Then he sends me the invoice with updated charges with a payment due date which was 5 days in the past making it seem like I am overdue even though the job was not complete yet. This owner/manager will make arrangements for the installation but he will not stand behind the damages that his installers caused. Who wants brand new carpet that have had a soda or dirt spilled on it? I don't go to a clothes store and expect to buy new underwear which comes with a skid mark... Go elsewhere or be the next victim of this shoddy business. Here is how Navid, the Owner, handled the refund due to defective service and faulty materials. No content is anything different than what was actually sent to me or from me. This unhinged communique took 1 week after the Owner, Navid, was to have mailed me a refund for defective merchandise. Me: "No check has been received yet..." Navid: "I waited to see if you would respond. Zelle would have been fast and easy. I mailed it out yesterday. I hope this does not frustrated you." Me: "Yet another passive aggressive attempt to mess things up... Hopefully you can not muster any more incompetence in this matter. It is beyond frustrating." Navid: "I actually helped you more that you can imagine. So shame your anger has caused you to see things clearly I asked a simple question. Why was it so hard to answer? Take a pill. I actually helped you more than you can imagine. It's a shame your anger has kept you from seeing things clearly. I only asked a simple question--why was it so hard to answer? Maybe you need to take a step back and calm down." Me: "Once again, just send me the funds so that I can be done dealing with you. I have more important things to tend to than being dicked around by some lowly shopkeeper." Navid: "Careful little boy. Check was mailed out. I am just getting sick of your nonsense. I am out of town. I make sure I call you personally to deal with your unjust words and personal attack once I get back. I feel so sorry for you. I am sure your childhood must have been a unpleasant one. Take a pill Me: "F**k off kindly." Navid: "Definitely. Must be a childhood issue. How bad was it??" I had to block him as he continued making personal attacks and by name calling. In Closing: Is this a person that you trust to have your email, phone number and address? Is this a business person that you can feel comfortably to provide fair, professional service? I think not! This man is unhinged. Beware.

When they installed the third carpet which was over a year after the carpet was installed we asked the installer to look at it and fix it. He addressed the steps during that installed. In December we called as the steps were wrinkled again and the top landing area and asked if someone could come out and fix it so it doesn't ruin the backing on the carpet. The person at the store said they would send someone out to check it out and it was Roy. This was mid December 2023. He said he would get back to us in a week and said that the carpet was installed 2 1/2yrs ago and they only have a 2 year warranty but he would see what he could do. We followed up several times and they said we are working on it and will get back to you with a proposal?!? Finally after another call in the morning on January 20th (1 month later!) Roy was busy with a customer and called back in the afternoon with a proposal for $600 that included $100 discount to re-stretch the carpet. I can not figure out how carpet would need to be re-stretched multiple times which tells me it was not stretched well enough when it was installed. We have more carpet & flooring to purchase and I am sorry but this is very petty to charge to address what we feel is an installation issue. There are too many flooring companies out there and we will NOT be returning with our business.

We shopped around to remodel our master bathroom and Ray Leon and Spectra Kitchen & Bath had the best design options and pricing for us. They arrived promptly, kept us informed, were neat and tidy on the job. The finished project not only looks amazing, but added to the value of our home. We had some difficulties trying to match the custom hardware with our existing sinks and Ray was extremely helpful with catalogs to find exactly what we needed/wanted. We did develop a leak related to the installation about 8 months after it was finished. We called Ray, he was out the same day, determined that indeed there was an installation flaw and set up an accelerated schedule to get us repaired. This required removal of the tile flooring and build up underneath. The job was completed in record time, and it looks as beautiful as ever. We truly could not be happier. We've lived in 7 states and 3 countries, have dealt with many contractors and are happy to say that our experience with Ray Leon of Spectra Kitchen & Bath has been one of the most positive ever. This is a great local business, and they really care about their customers. They recently installed two different countertops in our kitchen, and we could not be happier with the results. The staff is friendly, professional, and the company went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the end product. They were very helpful, understanding and met with us several times to make sure that we found quartz slabs to fit our design. Had an appointment to install new countertops between 12-2 and showed up early which wasn't an issue. The installers were courteous and if I had questions they would stop to answer them. When the countertops were measured there was a cabinet there but was moved and they asked if we wanted to adjust the countertop. They fixed the issue on site. I asked them to cut a hole in one of the countertops so that I could put my microwave cord through it. They cut the hole for me with no problems. They were fast and did a great job. Best of all- our complete kitchen renovation project was completed 1 day AHEAD of schedule and at the agreed-to budget. The construction crew was on time every day, very professional and competent, and thoroughly cleaned up the project area daily. We can't recommend Bretts highly enough!

The idea that a small kitchen should be measured properly and completed within a reasonable timeframe is simply not part of their approach. If you want your kitchen to be the heart of your home without exceeding timelines and budgets, avoid this business. The prices are some of the most inflated prices in the local area - You can find better prices, business ethics, and much more competent employees with other companies in Tucson. Over the course of 8 months, there were constant staff changes--people were fired, reassigned, many people quit and the new hire PM was completely unprepared and had zero clue what she was talking about. So my designer got fired, I went through 2 different construction managers, four installers and the incompetent PM. While the owner himself handled a portion of the cabinet installation and was detailed in his work, that's where the positives ended. To make matters worse, I was required to pay 90% of the cabinet price three months before they even began making the necessary repairs and replacements. After the holidays I was contacted to pay the remaining 10% because they are in need of money for the business and I told them that I wasn't going to pay until the job was 100% complete. Also on the website it states "in business for 22 years." This is very misleading because the owner has only had the company for 3 years with only the name of the company being around for 22 years. Who does business like that? This company--Southwest Kitchen & Bath-- Is going to go out of business soon, and this business is one to avoid!!

The bottom of the drawer was bowing when I put silverware in the drawer, and had features, such as a large wine rack that we didn't need. We were looking for someplace that could reface part of the kitchen, and completely demo and rework the other side. We had a wonderful experience with Southwest Kitchen & Bath. Our sales person Lisa was wonderful to work with, triple confirming all the measurements so everything came in right the first time. Since everything had to be made custom, the total project was about 12 weeks, but the stages were clearly communicated up front, and we didn't have to clear out of the kitchen until after the new cabinets arrived, so the down time really wasn't too bad. We requested a few changes mid project, such as under cabinet lighting. Lisa and our project coordinator Katy were very helpful with suggesting what they could offer, but also options we could do ourselves if we wanted to go that route. We felt supported, not pressured, into changes that in the end we really love. Attaching a few in-progess photos, I'll try to update with some finished project photos later.
