    beware of scams. They tell you they are sending someone out for no charge and then require a payment or threaten service shut down.

    BEWARE DISHONEST REPS WHO ADD UNWANTED SERVICES TO YOUR ACCOUNT!! First time Spectrum customer. I…read morewent into the store to pick up equipment to self-install internet service. The rep I dealt with --Ademin (or something like that) --- kept hard selling me on Spectrum mobile service, which I verbally told him I was not interested in at this time, no matter the deal offered. After minutes of way too much typing, asking me for my phone, and more typing, I said to him, "This is just for internet, right?" to which he mumbled a muted affirmative response. Minutes later (after even more typing) I get my internet equipment and return home. Just to verify that my account had been setup correctly, I logged into the Spectrum app. And what did I find? Spectrum Mobile service had been added to my account, against my express wishes and despite assurance from the rep that I only was signing up for internet service. Had I not checked, come a year from now, when the free year of mobile service was up, my bill would have increased, and I wouldn't have remembered why. THESE ARE THE DECEPTIVE PRACTICES THAT SPECTRUM IS LEGENDARY FOR (and which I never believed, until it happened to me). Stay away from this location, and if you must go, check your account afterwards. To finish the story, I called Spectrum customer service after finding the un-asked-for mobile service added to my account and had the service disconnected. I also reported the rep, but I doubt any action will be taken. I suspect this behavior is encouraged at the management level. Or maybe Ademin, the rep, mistook me for being clueless.

I sat there for 30 minutes with my equipment before someone finally came out to tell me that if I'm just returning equipment, they scan it without needing to wait in line, and I'd get a confirmation email. Really? That should've been made clear from the start. Honestly, between the frequent outages and the gradual bait-and-switch with monthly charges increasing over time, I'm done with Spectrum. Happy to no longer be a customer.

He even discovered a damaged wire in one of my walls and went above and beyond to get everything working through another cable port. He was incredibly patient while I shifted things around so he could reach the panel in my closet, and he also helped me update my SSID and password, which I really appreciated! Did a wifi speed test right after and it matched the target right off the bat! Highly recommend Bai Connect/Zentro--their value for the speeds totally beat out AT&T/Spectrum (not to mention headache-free!)--and I'm super happy with Jeff's excellent service!

The #1 issue is that if you ever…read morehave a problem with your internet that requires anything more than merely restarting your modem you are going to be placed in technical support limbo for days, weeks, and maybe even months. As noted in other reviews, the way in which the customer service works is by transferring you to a representative that at best can only ask you to unplug your router and plug it back in again. If you have a more serious problem, then the best they can do is refer you to their mysterious "tier 2" team. They will tell you that your issue has been escalated and to expect a call back the same day or the following day. Currently, I have been waiting back to hear from this team for a month. I have called over and over again and I am unable to reach a single individual who can help me with my problem. This is a nightmare for someone who works at home and requires stable internet to do their job well. Reading other reviews and looking online demonstrates that this is a common enough problem that signing up for this service is a bad idea. If you are searching for an apartment and you find one that offers BAI connect, I encourage you to keep searching and to tell the apartment management that you will not be submitting an application because of the ISP they chose. Trust me, you do not want to be stuck in this hellish scenario of wasting hours of your time weeks on end to get no where. What you are paying for is just not worth it. I have been a customer of ATT and Spectrum, while both have their failings, I can at the very least say that I was able to get a hold of someone who could help me eventually. If your service works as intended, then great, but do not get fooled by reviews written in the best of circumstances. If one thing goes wrong you are going to suffer for it because they are either too lazy, incompetent, or just plain spiteful to help you get your issue resolved. Finally, if this review speaks to your own experience, please leave your own review on yelp and file a complaint with the FTC. They are defrauding their customers on the most basic level by denying them access to adequate customer support. Further, make your voice heard and force apartment buildings to seek better service providers. Avoid BAI connect at all costs.

    Well, this has been a crazy journey getting my cable box and power cord etc for my new tv. My…read morehusband went there a few days ago but they needed the cable box. So, I went super early yesterday and waited patiently for it to open. It went really well I was in and out in five minutes. Got home and it wasn't working ... ( ;(((( ) got on the phone with tech support and spoke with the lovely Annel. We just couldn't make it work so I had to make an appointment with someone to come last night. Turns out the box was "jank" and the HDMI connector was not connecting. Turns out we had to replace the cord for the HDMI and get a new box because the one that I got brand new from the store was not working 2 1/2 hours later it's working. Rafi, the wonderful technician was patient and quite adept at his job! Annel and Rafi, you have my respect! However, why would the man who gave the new box NOT have had it checked? This whole experience was super stressful and time consuming!!! I met some lovely people waiting on the line outside and that experience was great. I even bumped into my best friend Paul in the parking lot so that was fun but honestly, the rest of my day was stressful and aggravating.! All's well that ends well I guess and hopefully I will not have to deal with this again any time soon. On the other hand, since I didn't have a TV for four days, I read an entire book that I've been dying to read for a while, so it turned out to be a winning situation, albeit a long and slow process!!!!
