I have never been so frustrated and now know why everyone hates Time Warner Cable now masking themselves as Spectrum. I went in at 3:30, the young lady took my name and said it would be about 30 minute wait. I was there to exchange two defective cable boxes for a commercial customer that spends thousands of dollars monthly with Spectrum. When told it would be 30 minutes, I said I would drive down the street to fill up with gasoline. I was back in about 15 minutes. When I returned I asked the young lady how long the wait would be she promptly said your name was called 10 minutes ago and you where not here. Please remember she had told me I had 30 minutes and knew I was going to get gasoline. I asked what she could do, she said add me back to the list. I asked her could she move me up the list and she said she would do what she could. She walked up to what look to be a manager and then went behind the doors to disappear for 10 minutes. When she returned I asked her again. By this time there were 17 people on the wait list and I was number 12. Very frustrated I asked her again and this time she told me she could not move me up the list that others had come in and were waiting also. I left after 30 more minutes only to see the two technicians were working slowly and my rank in the list only moved up three positions. I left with anger. I advised my commercial customer to request an on-site visit for tomorrow. I will never walk back in the doors of Spectrum even if the service was free. read more

Once again Specteum Cable has proven itself to be the worst cable and wifi company in the US. I cant say one good thing about it. From the Customer Service to the services it offers. From the equipment to the technicians and the operators. They are at the bottom of the barrel. And if they didn't monopolize the area I'd never be a customer. read more

Wow! Where do I start?! They are full of lies. They promise no installation or services fee. They give you a set price then offer you something that they say will be included in this awesome deal, then bomb first months bill is now 100 bucks higher than expected! They offer amazing deals with amazing internet and television deals. Trust me you will pay a much higher amount than they quote you. They will not honor the amount quoted. The Service person was very polite and patient, But it's sad that the store manager only have two people working . with 6 cashier open on a Monday of all days. You have to wait up to two hours to just drop off or exchange equipment. They need a special drop off area. read more

The absolute slowest customer service ever. Five workers behind the counter but only 2 actually working. Mixing mobile and cable is the worst. Can't get help turning in products because people are signing up for phones and taking up all the 2 service personnel for 30 plus minutes at a time. Never again Spectrum. read more

I have never in my life paid so much money for services that are so dysfunctional. I wish I were permitted to give a zero star rating because that is what I would wholeheartedly rate this deplorable company. To list every problem I've experienced would take more time than I care to invest; the long and the short of it is internet/cable tv issues are almost a daily experience since I've had this service. The ridiculous part of that being that I had Time Warner previously with minimum issues. Unfortunately, the small community I leave in is not compatible with any other service...hence Spectrum service vans are a constant. I could have my monthly payment of $220 refunded for an entire year and it would not rectify the headache and aggravation that this service provides. No matter a faulty cable box, router, or remote it is ALWAYS something. I never dreamed that functional WiFi and cable would be a luxury that I only dream of. I didn't use the store, I called customer service as new customer for internet service. Waiting several days and still haven't received my equipment in the mail to only find out my ordered was canceled four days later, the worst part is I had already paid the first months bill. I called this past week to check this status and possibly re-connected internet held for 40 mins and c/s told me she would take care of it and call me back and never received a call back. So the one last call today and it toke 1 hour 44 mins and all the horrible customer service, I would just stay with my horrible current internet provider. Spectrum wasn't making any offers for me to keep me as new customer?!?! read more

service is trash! i hate that twc sold to them. service has been worse. i can never call customer service and be giving great service. its always a problem. i have a past due balance (they bill a month in advance; and supposedly credit you back if your were to cancel service before that time) and asked if i could pay half now and the other have a week from now. i was told no because of my history and giving the notice of having to pay the other half two days before the day i asked. two days, before i can make the payment really?!! then you want to charge a reconnect fee. smh when you need their assistance they dont want to be able to help your customers. i hate rip-off-turm, i mean specturm and wish fios (verizon or google) hurry up and come out in my area. not worth the headache. never recommend them to anyone read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I have been here for more than 2 hours. All I want to do is return my equipment. Initially there were 68 people in front of me and only 2 people working. I was told I could return my items to the local UPS store. I called and the UPS store has no idea what I'm talking about. I solpoke with the person in charge, then asked for a manager. She refused to bring the manager out to the floor to speak with me. The same supervisor continued to stare at my and shake her head. They need to wake up amd learn a lesson in how to treat people. The first time I went the service was terrible waited over 2 hours to get any service. But the next time I went I made an appointment prior and waited for about 10-15 and was assisted by one of the workers Wyatt Coffin, and he gave excellent customer service and was really helpful and respectful... read more

Sitting here waiting for over an hour gave me just enough time to write this review. I came yesterday but was shocked at how long the line was and how little they were staffed. There are 3 employees working the sales floor at the moment--none of them are in a rush. I've heard Spectrum had horrible customer service, now I'm seeing it. I'm just going to get unlimited data with my cell carrier so I don't have to deal with this pathetic mess. They just set a new record for loosing a customer quick. read more

OK cable service is never going to be a fun thing to discuss. Giving the devil it's due, I went in to bring back a cable box that I was no longer using. I signed in, number five at the time. Sat down at a comfortable area,waited a little bit until my name was called and went up to return the box. The person behind the counter was polite, and after reviewing the situation (on her own) found a way to reduce my monthly bill significantly and upgrade my cable speed. As I write this, the internet had gone out for the third time. The internet is out constantly. They send a tech who "puts in a call to maintenance." No one comes. We call the company who tells us that there's been no call to maintenance so they have send a tech. Rinse and repeat. When this awful company was Time Warner they did the same thing. Spectrum has handled my service issue very poorly. They re-scheduled an appointment I had set up without consulting with my wife or I and then twice they said the service technicians would call us at the number we gave them to talk about it and never did call. I tried to call the local storm just to make an appointment to bring the bad equipment in myself and exchange it, but you get the automated response system again and it tries to take you thorough a while new service interview rather than connecting you to the store. I will consider our options for other service after we get over this issue. And it seems this rating system will not allow me to just enter zero stars for my rating but that was my experience. read more

Had to visit this store on Aug 31 to swap out a modem. Upon arriving I was greeted by a surely woman who mumbled "welcome to Spectrum". Signed in and I was #50 in line. I waited over 90 minutes for a 1 minute transaction. The wait could have been much longer except many people on the list bailed. What a horrible experience other than the one minute I spent with the agent that handled my transaction. The 3 people working the counter were doing their best to manage the crowd and handle the transactions in a friendly and efficient manner. The blame here goes to Spectrum management for woefully under-manning this store. They've combined mobile phone sales and service with equipment returns and swaps. I want to emphasize how miserable Spectrum's customer service is at the Friendly Center store. Around 10:00 AM this morning, I visited the showroom to exchange a remote and review my account. When I arrived, more than twenty-five customers were waiting to be assisted. Of the ten work stations in the facility, only three associates were visible on the floor. One of the associates was chatting with a workman who had worked on the front door while occasionally drinking a soft drink that she had at the counter. A young man was also there but he was not assisting customers and later disappeared. Only one Spectrum associate seemed to actually be assisting customers. While I waited, I noted more than eight customers walking out without being assisted. There was no sense of urgency to serve customers!! Surely, Spectrum can do better than this!! read more
