I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the quality and speed of my service. In the past I went to a Verizon authorized retailer down the street to get my phone. He was nice but it took hours to set up. This place did it in less than 15 minutes! Not only did I get a new phone but I was a new subscriber since I had left a while back. Actually not even worth one star. The salesman was only after a sale. He couldn't stop singing loudly long enough to hear what we were needing. We were lied to from the first time. After making several attempts to fulfill the deal of returning my old phone we got a run around from everyone we talked to. There is always a wait and the employees don't care about the. Customers. I originally went to the Apple store because my phone wasn't charging at they said it was broken after looking at it for 5 minutes. After I came here to see if they could replace it because I have insurence, and I spoke to Jason. Jason cleaned out the port and it starting working immediately, and was not broken. He then took the time to send me a link so I could get a first responder discount on my plan. Amazing service from Jason, he is a great employee. read more

Like some others, I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Recently had Verizon internet installed. No instructions or book given on how to use the router. Sales (by phone) said "any store" could help me complete registration of new device---so far, no store I have contacted has been able to. There is NO way to contact customer service unless your telephone is with Verizon....have spent hours trying to reach someone who could help to complete registration of installation, but not ever received any help. Have contacted sales person twice to come and remove equipment since registration can not be completed---no response from sales person. Will next contact installer to see if he will come and remover router. HORRID experience overall. read more

We stopped by this store on Battleground Ave today to upgrade a phone. We were one of 3 customers in the store with 2 agents working with the other two customers. While we waited, two more customers came in the store. Both agents freed up at the same time and they waited on the other two customers before us! When I said something to the agents I was told "they would be quick". Yeah, right. We'd already listened to them chatting and cutting up with each other for 30 minutes. We left to shop elsewhere. We've been with Verizon for over 20 years and this level of service is disgusting. I know it is hard to find decent employees, but there is no reason for any employee to be rude and not work with a sense of urgency when others are waiting. read more

Stayed in the store with other customers waiting for a service representative. People had been waiting there for long periods of time and had no idea of when someone would come to help them. Why is there no sign-in and why are there employees walking around doing nothing? Fix your store. read more

I had to visit Verizon today to exchange a charge I bought in another state due to a shortage in the cord. After going to 3 different stores, Adam helped me with no problem at this corporate store and exchanged my charger with no problem. I wish he would have just smiled a little. Thank you Adam. Terrible customer service, I was with Verizon for over 15 years and I have had nothing but terrible experiences. They add unnecessary charges to your account and don't tell you until it is too late. Switch to AT &T it has been the best decision I've made for $80 a month. read more

Marcus helped me upgrade my phone from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 12 a couple weeks ago. He was really patient and helpful when it came to answering my questions about the purchase and setup. If I could give zero stars I would. I have never encountered such incompetence or disregard as a Verizon customer. The sales representatives and check-in liaison argued and lied to me multiple times. I went in to buy a new iPhone XS Max and at first was met with an upbeat and helpful sales representative. The issue began when the sales rep (Adam) automatically enrolled me in the monthly device payment plan and submitted the contract without asking me if I wanted to use that payment method (in fact I wanted to pay the phone off using Verizon gift cards that I had received for Christmas). He went into the back to put on my screen protector and when he returned I asked him if I could use my gift cards to pay off the phone. He proceeded to tell me that he didn't know that and that there wasn't a way to undo the device payment plan. He explained that after the first billing cycle I could then use my gift cards to pay down the balance of the phone. I assumed he knew what he was talking about and walked out of the store with my new phone.. On my way home I decided to call Verizon wireless customer service to see if there was a way that I could use my gift cards sooner than after one billing cycle. While talking to the extremely helpful customer service representative, they informed me that I could NOT use my gift cards after the fact to pay down my phone but could only use them to pay my monthly bill or towards other new devices. The customer service rep informed me that they told me false information at the store and that I could return the phone to the store and then repurchase it (essentially restarting the purchase process where I could use my gift cards). The representative even went as far as calling the store (talking to the sales person who sold me phone) and explained the process. Customer service also said that the $50 restocking fee would be waived by Verizon. I drove to the store (where they were waiting for me) and walked in with the recently purchased phone. The check-in liaison asked how I could be helped and I told them that I was there to return my phone. He immediately told me that there was going to be a $50 restocking fee. I told him that a Verizon rep had called the store and told the salesman that the $50 fee would be waived. He then argued with me that they don't waive the $50 fee and that it wasn't something that they did. I told him the rep called and that they said it was going to happen this time. He interjected and told me that he was standing next to the sales person during the phone call and that they still didn't waive the fee. I told him to check me in and to get me the sales rep that sold me the phone originally. After waiting a few minutes, I then met with the sales rep (Adam) and we began the process of returning my phone. He began putting the phone back into the system and told me that I owed $16 for miscellaneous fees. I questioned this $16 and he said that it wasn't a restocking fee (because it was indeed waived) but that it had to be paid for returning the phone. I decided to pay it and he then walked over to the same guy who checked me in. They came back over to me and the person who checked me in told me that I couldn't go home with the phone today and had to wait 24 hours before I could. I was extremely confused and didn't understand why. They said that the phone had to be reprocessed into the computer system before they could re-sell it back to me. I asked if I could just get a new phone in the box and was told no; that if they gave me a new phone then they would be stuck with technically a "used" phone. I was furious because this was the first time that I had heard of this "24 hour" rule and argued with the two Verizon employees until I decided that they weren't going to help me any further. I left the store with no phone and less money. I began to drive home and decided to call Verizon Customer Service once more. I explained what had happened (to another extremely helpful Verizon customer service rep) and was informed that there wasn't a "24 hour" rule and that they should have sold me a brand new phone. Customer service didn't understand why the store argued with me and she called them to investigate. After talking to them, she told me NOT to go back to that store AND that I shouldn't have been charged $16 at all. The rep told me to go to another store where she called ahead and informed them of the situation and to get a new phone there. She reviewed the receipts from the first store as well and noticed that they attempted to charge me over $140 that should've been returned to me for taxes and fees. Long story short I got my phone from the other store and would NEVER go back to that location ever again. I have never encountered such incompetence at other Verizon locations. read more

Horrible customer service and possibly consumer fraud!!! Make guarantees on accessories and then when you come back with a problem, they don't honor it stating that was back when you purchased it six months or so ago even though their packaging states a "lifetime" guarantee. They also talk very unprofessionally (trash) about their local competitors, such as the authorized verizon retailer down the street. The worst part is that their managers are very unapproachable and just stand there and look around, not doing a thing. It's amazing their staff can stand them just being lazy when the store has more customers come through the door and the floor manager, such as Trevor, is just looking around clueless about the ethical nature of actually helping a customer and not just trying to figure out who the associate closest to finishing up with another customer might be. Worst than inept, if a customer is actually proactive enough to assert a question to him, breaking his distant uninviting couldn't care less attitude, he then looks indifferent at you like you have broken his don't want to get involved with the little people protocol and tries to find out how long you have been waiting and how to get someone to you quicker instead of just answering a simple question about a product himself. Is he really that over employed and insecure or this the type of inefficient management system that Verizon is training them. While waiting another five minutes for someone else to get freed up, with no systematic way of even knowing if you are next, should you have asked about making an actual reservation or getting a number, or how quickly you can get down to the next Verizon store, you will ponder if Trevor is has that much of an ego still standing over there doing absolutely nothing, and if you should at least suggest to him to fake act like he is tabulating something on a device and keeping track of some numbers or messages. To keep from getting furious at his lack of customer service or even professional characteristics, you may actually start reflecting on why you are even a Verizon customer since they don't seem to value you as one at that store. As for me and my five device account, I will strive to keep all my friends and colleagues away from that store. What a nightmare experience. I thought that the first few times after I had bought several phones and accessories there, that they were just having a bad day, or there were a few naive rouge employees that just needed more training, but now the pattern has been established and I won't set foot in the place ever again, in fact I really need to take the time to write the cooporate office and report their embarrassment since even the management at this store is corrupted and won't listen to how poorly they reflect their company and treat their customers. This has to be about the most negative review I have ever written, coming from a person who is full of grace and tries to find the good in every situation. I know that people make mistakes and I'm a very forgiving person, but this experience has happened over several events and now something has to be done. Not only do the continue to do the same negative things to their customers, but they also don't even seem to care. For instance there was another customer full of disdain and leaving feeling slighted, and they didn't even care to try and patch things up or at least get the door for her. It's one thing to be poorly trained, it's totally another to be actively rude. How can anyone trust what they are saying or selling you, or advice they are offering about a particular decision on an advice when they don't even care to build a rapport like other Verizon stores. Terrible terrible, what a horrible experience. At least smile Trevor and seem like you are busy or at least interested in what you are doing. If I could give a half star I would, and the half would only be for the store being relatively clean and bright. Plus, they always seem to have a close parking space in that they have clearly had a steady decrease in customers over the past couple of years since they opened. Now I know why. Makes you really wonder why the district manager hasn't come through and cleaned house or at least offered some customer service training. Heck a meeting on greeting people with a smile would even help. But, if you are into the cold, awkward, slow, and pretentious service to purchase a case, screen protector, or wireless earplugs for your devices that they won't back up with the warranty, or even help you set up on your phone to make sure it synchronizes correctly, then this is your place! Just be prepared to wait in an uncrowded lobby area while a manager just stands there and points at other people to get to you whenever they can't find anything else to do. read more
